Studio apartment on a vineyard in the heart of the goldfields

Lillicur Vineyard B&B is set on 20 acres, with four acres of vineyards. The studio apartment is separate to the main dwelling, with access via a rear driveway. We are a 10 minute drive to the historic mining town of Talbot and 20 minutes to Maryborough and Avoca. We offer seclusion and privacy, overlooking the vineyard and surrounded by native birds and wildlife. The studio includes a king-sized bed and king single (both with electric blankets), a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave, wood heater and electric heater. A covered veranda leads to a separate bathroom with toilet, shower and heating.

What a gorgeous place to watch the sunrise! Absolutely loved the serenity and Deb is a very gracious and generous host. There was so much stuff for breakfast and I haven't slept so peacefully like I did on the weekend in a very long time. Thank you Deb. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Sanctuary
This weekend was the perfect stay at this bed and breakfast, there was lots provided in the facility for my partner and I. Very lovely owners and pup! Such a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise over the Vinyard. Perfect get-away! We will be back! Thank you so much.

Perfect hideaway
This was a lovely property to stay at. We had 3 nights here. The breakfast provisions were substantial and it is also pet friendly. It is a very quiet and peaceful location close to the main town of Maryborough or the quaint towns of Clunes and Talbot for a quick bite to eat. Locals are very friendly. Just a note this accommodation spot is not wheelchair friendly and the bathroom is outside but attached to the cabin. Also no WiFi - which may suit you if you want to get away from it all, but mobile service is fine. We woke up to magnificent sunrises. It was perfect for us as it was close to the Clunes Booktown Festival which we attended for the weekend.

The cottage was cosy with open fire. Was convenient being able to have our dog with us. several food extras provided was nice. Big comfortable bed. Bathroom a bit tired and the access around the corner off the verandah a bit of a challenge for ageing bladders.

Secluded gem with a great view
The house is in a beautiful location. There are some ‘rustic’ elements (outdoor cooking and a bathroom that can only be reached by going outside) but the warm welcome of the hosts, the wonderful breakfast staples, the comfortable bed and the beautiful view totally makes up that. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us!

Lovely location with friendly hosts, cleaning could be improved
The place is in a lovely location on a beautiful property with large glass doors that face the sunrise each morning. Ingredients for a lovely breakfast as well as snacks were provided. We actually really enjoyed cooking on the BBQ too! The place was a little dusty, but the main issue was just that the couch wasn't clean and the bedding wasn't clean either. This was a downer for us and hopefully just a one-off. That said, Deb, Neil and their dog Jack are all super friendly and Deb and Neil were happy to help whenever we had questions.

Ahhh the serenity!
We had a fantastic time and Missy (our Border Collie puppy) had an even better time. No wifi (was what we needed) along with fantastic hosts (Deb & Neil). Room comes with plenty of great breakfast food and all the stuff you’ll need. Neil even took me out Gold Prospecting. 5/5!

Wow! What an incredible property. Deb & Neil were fantastic and we adored their dog, Jack. The place was so well stocked with goodies, beds were glorious to sleep on, and the view was spectacular. Visiting the chickens and cows was a joy! Thank you so much for having us. We will definitely be back.

HOW QUIET CAN QUIET BE?
Dont like too say too much as too many people will want to visit! Perfectly situated in the middle of old gold mining towns. This is the place to saty if you want to fossick around old shops etc. DEb was the perfect host. Fantastic!

We needed short term accomodation whilst waiting for our caravan to be finished. 4 nights at Lillicur was very peaceful despite over 80 mil of rain in one day 😲 Neale ensured we were AOK. Easy access to goldfields towns. Cooking facilities limited but we knew that in advance and brought along our induction stove. Importantly, very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast goodies supplied. Thankyou

The cabin has great views across the vineyard to the sunrise which I enjoyed every morning. I cooked the included breakfast on the bbq on the verandah in the mornings and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its. A really great place and very well priced. I have stayed in a few places around Maryborough and this is the best so far, I’ll be back :) thanks.

Absolutely brilliant. Quiet, relaxed and exactly what you need for your dog! Acres of fun for the dog to run around in. BBQ at sunrise for breakfast from the generous supplies Hey you can even have a crack at getting rich prospecting with Neil. We will be back for sure.

Myself & my two small dogs had a restful & relaxing stay for 7 nights. The studio was very clean & comfortable. It was lovely to sit on the verandah overlooking part of the vineyard, to read & take in the view. Neil & Deb were very attentive, especially on some super hot days. Great aircon!
