Luxury Cabin on Golf Course 5 Minutes to Nat'l Park.

Surrounded by native ʻōhiʻa lehua trees and located on the SUNNY side of Volcano, Kilauea Cabin is a relaxing, beautiful and private two bedroom house overlooking the 11th fairway of the gorgeous Volcano Golf Course. On a quiet street, just a short 5 minute drive from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and walking distance to the golf course and winery, this is the perfect location for a stay in Volcano. Completely upgraded kitchen and bath, featuring quartz counter-tops and all new stainless appliances.

You can see the orange glow in the sky from Kilauea when its erupting (if the conditions are right).

Great high speed WiFi and a 40" Smart HDTV that you can use to access your favorite streaming channels. (The cabin does not have regular cable TV)

Additional features include: large tiled walk-in shower, built-in lava rock and cast iron fireplace, huge private deck, large backyard and wonderful views of the (rarely crowded) golf course, 100% cotton luxury bedding & towels, new comfy California king bed in primary bedroom and queen in secondary bedroom, full size washer/dryer and a fully stocked kitchen.

We've tried to think of everything for an ideal getaway. You will even find tabletop power-hubs for your devices next to each bed, some board games & playing cards to enjoy as well as all the basics in the kitchen, including: coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, rice cooker, salt & pepper, sugar, cooking oil, etc.

Perfect for families, couples, and singles, it sleeps up to 5 people. There is one king and one queen bed and two twin fold-out foam futons for the floor (best suited for kids).

Your days can be as active or as relaxing as you wish. Enjoy the quiet, beauty, and privacy of the property, hit the trails in the National Park, visit some art galleries and shops, check out the winery, play some golf...

Sweet Birthday Weekend Getaway

This was such a special place to share a quiet birthday weekend with family. Being so close to the national park and Volcano Village, it was easy for us to take the family on hikes, get delicious bites to eat, and experience Tūtū Pele, who was aglow at the crater. Being a two minute drive from the winery was a fabulous cherry on top! As kamaʻaina, we’ll surely be sharing our gratitude for this place with others and be back in the future.

Cold and Cool

This cool cabin has a well appointed kitchen and one of the best showers ever BUT it was cold every single day and night. This cabin is advertised as luxury. What is the definition of luxury? Washable house slippers for the Hawaiian tradition of shoes off in the house would have been a luxury. Flannel sheets would have been a luxury and a store of real wood to burn for warmth would have been a luxury.Our hosts were great communicators. And the neighborhood is very quiet. We had a great time but we were cold (and we're from Alaska!)

Golf, good food, great stay.

The cabin is nice, very well equipped, still smells like fresh cedar, and comfortable. It is in a great neighborhood within a couple holes walk from the pro shop. The volcano village is a quick drive down the loop road and has everything one could need. You can see three volcanos from the 18th hole.

Immaculate

This cabin is absolutely immaculate.Beds, pillows, towels are all incredible.Chickens and pheasants roam around in the yard and you can watch from the beautiful deck. If you don’t love nature you can watch from inside through the massive windows.The volcano park is only 4 minutes away.This cabin is a joy to stay at.

Very clean and spacious

We found the house to be very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless. There was however a bit of a musty smell throughout. This could have been partially due to the all wood finish. The weather was mostly wet and rainy, so we could not enjoy the outside deck. It was also on the cool side but there were sufficient heaters in all the rooms. Overall a good stay.

Great location

This cabin was perfect for us--close to Volcano NP for some great hiking---as well as being on the golf course for our golfing pleasure. The cabin was clean and welcoming and we even used the fireplace on the super rain chilly day. Highly recommend it!

Very nice cabin stocked with all necessities for a lovely vacation. Minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, good restaurants, and beautiful walks. The hosts are thoughtful and the location is perfect.

Final leg on Big Island

After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.

Wir haben nachts sehr gefroren, die kleinen Elektroheizstrahler sind zu wenig. Wir waren im März dort, ist zu dieser Jahreszeit eigentlich nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben mit Schal. Pullover, Hose etc. geschlafen. Code zum Öffnen der Tür am Anreisetag war nicht klar verständlich.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway!

The cabin did not disappoint! Such a beautiful, quiet location and the cabin was stocked with the nicest amenities. The beds and linens were so comfy. My kids wished we had stayed here longer!

Volcano Vacation

This stay was our 3rd at Kilauea Cabin. We love the proximity to Volcanoes National Park and view of the golf course. The cabin is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The shower is fantastic as are the thick, fluffy towels. We love this place and will definitely be back.

Work/Play Visit

We were able to combine work and play while staying at this lovely cabin. Not our first time staying here and hopefully, not our last. Volcano is magical and the cabin is warm and inviting, well-equipped, clean and perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet in Volcano. The owners were incredibly responsive and everything was perfect!

Why they chose this property

We love Volcano, especially this neighborhood by the golf course. Because of it's location, this area is much sunnier than most of Volcano (that's why they built the golf course here). It's such a relaxing place. Warm sunny days and quiet cool nights. We love the view from the house and deck looking out over the backyard and golf course. This neighborhood also has nice wide paved streets, with little traffic, ideal for walking, cycling etc.
