We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with items you need and located in a nice, quiet area. We will definitely be back.
Everything was just as described in the listing.
Property was clean and tidy. The view was beautiful from the back porch and the river was very peaceful.
Love this house ! Bedrooms have almost floor to ceiling windows and you wake up you can lay in bed and look at the creek neighborhood is so quiet very close to parkway can’t wait to book another stay
The house was just right for us. Close to so many attractions. River serenity made each day more relaxing. The only thing missing was hand soap in kitchen and bath and only one roll of TP in each bath. Had to shop for more of both. Beds, couches are comfy. Off street parking was fine. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would recommend!
This was a great place to stay. My husband and I, along with 2 of our best friends enjoyed this property. The sights and sounds of the river made for a relaxing time. Every thing we needed was included at the house. A big plus was how close it was to restaurants, shows and other attractions!
We were very pleased with EVERYTHING about this property! It was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, not to mention the owner was extremely helpful and very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommended!
This is the best VRBO by far. I stay at VRBO's two to three times a year in Pigeon Forge and this one by far is the best one I've stayed. Pictures are spot on and the view/neighborhood/location are great. We really enjoyed this home. Really nice quiet area yet close to everything.
Lovely little home. We had a great time and really enjoyed the Christmas tree! Would love to return sometime when it’s warmer to enjoy sitting on the deck and listen to the river. Too cold for that during our short trip. The fireplace was delightful!
My wife and I stayed a few days here and it was a lovely experience. Right on the water and even had access for us to jump in the river and do a little tubing! Very close to Pigeon Forge and convenient to get to Gatlinburg! Owner was very easy to talk to and very responsive. We were very happy and will definitely keep this property in mind when we visit again.
When we got there the air was not working. The owner did put us up in a hotel for the night
Upon arrival and caring our luggage up the stairs we discovered that the air did not work. The owner tried to get someone to fix it but on a Saturday night that was an impossibility. He did put us up in a very nice motel. The only other problem we had was the stairs were not well lighted and one fell
Nice place and location. Flowing creek behind the house. It's an older house that could use some updating. Streaming service wasn't very good, constant freezing up. Overall a nice place.

Last time
Door code was wrong. NO LIGHTNING on steps going up to door, therefore, couldn’t see steps.
Missed last step and fell into railing at the landing. Thought I had a bad bruising, very painful. On Thursday I told my wife I needed to see a doctor. X-rayed, 3 broken ribs. Messed up vacation. Couldn’t do anything!!
Brought my parents up for vacation as we have been coming over 16 years & have rented numerous cabins & chalets, but the moment we walked into Peddler’s Rest it seemed so much like home immaculately cleaned, very roomy & equipped with everything we needed for our stay, beds were so nice & comfy very beautifully decorated, Rick was very nice & responsive to answering any questions I had great quiet neighborhood & our most favorite part was sitting on the back covered deck watching the ripples in the river & seeing all the wildlife, you have your own private grilling area by the river& it was so nice & relaxing as well I would definitely give a 10 outta 10 on every aspect of this property. Would absolutely without hesitation stay here again , Thank you Rick for a wonderful memorable stay & being a terrific host!!
This was a repeat stay for us so needless to say, we enjoy it here. The covered deck looking out on the river and the woods is the main pull. There are others though, such as good location for exploring in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Townsend and short drive to Gatlinburg. The house is roomy and light with a nice size kitchen/ great room. We plan to book again.
Easy to find. Lots of restaurants, stores, places to go for entertainment close by.
Lots of steps up to house. Roomy. Two bathrooms. Issues with towels, unsanitized pillows, not enough silverware or serving dishes. Attention needed to lights and furniture. I would rent again and the river is the most comforting item about this rental.

My Family and I have lived here in Eastern Tennessee over 30 years. I love the mountains, the wildlife, the early Spring and the late Fall. My family and I hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Enjoy sitting on the back deck in the morning having a cup of coffee and watching the ducks and geese go up and down the river is the best. You never know what you might see. Maybe even a Bald Eagle out for its morning catch!
