Art Deco, ocean-liner inspired beach home in Vero. The Ambersand Beach enclave is on a whisper thin isthmus straddling A1A surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian River, Sebastian Inlet State Park and historic Pelican Island National Wildlife Sanctuary. Ambersand Beach provides a remote island living experience with the nearby convenience of Vero’s great restaurants, galleries and shopping.

Experience the best of both worlds; beach front on one side and the widest section of Indian River just across A1A. The views are incredible. Enjoy decks on the second and third floors with views of the ocean and the river, and finish the day with happy hour on the rooftop deck with the best sunset views on the Treasure Coast!

A 350 foot dock extends into the Indian River Lagoon, with a 20 x 15 Tiki Hut at the end. Enjoy dinner and drinks in the Over-Water Tiki Hut, watching dolphins and manatees while the sun sets.

There are boat rentals nearby, and there are reasonably priced charter captains we can recommend who will pick you up at our dock for fishing or picnic excursions.

The master suite with king sized bed occupies the entire third floor. The suite includes a sitting area, desk, ocean side deck and river side deck. The second floor includes two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other bedroom has one full sized bed and one single bed. The second floor is the primary living area with an expansive great room. The large kitchen opens to the living room, both of which are surrounded by windows and glass doors opening to a deck wrapping around from ocean to river.

The first floor converts from a TV oom with an ensuite bathroom into a bedroom with a comfy queen sized sofa-bed. The home sleeps eight comfortably. The first floor opens to the heated pool and spa, a large Tiki Hut and the beach walkover.

Beach Front and Dock on Lagoon

Beach and swimming in the Atlantic and the pool and hot tub behind the house. Fishing off the dock across A1A on the front. We had an excellent Thanksgiving week. Beautiful views throughout. Where else can you get spectacular sunrise and sunsets. Beds were comfortable. Owner extremely responsive to issues and questions. We rented a pontoon boat from Florida Boat Rentals for three days and kept at the dock. One of our favorite VRBO rentals.

Terrific Home, Amazing Communication

The property was amazing. We’ve never stayed in a home that had more to offer. The hosts provided an amazing amount of beach toys/towels. The kitchen was wonderfully apportioned with pots, pans, dishes, and spices. The home was immaculately clean. The element that made the trip standout was the communication with the owner. We had a few questions and the responses were immediate, helpful, and thorough. By far, this was the best interaction we’ve ever had with a property owner. We highly recommend this property and it’s wonderful owners.

Wonderful Spring Break

Our family of five spent Spring Break at Ambersand Beach, and it was a wonderful time. This rental is definitely at the top of the list for best properties we've rented with VRBO. The property is fantastic. It's very well maintained and super clean. The layout of the house is great for both privacy and large gathering space. The views are awesome. The master suite is super awesome. The house is very well stocked, from kitchen supplies and cooking essentials, to toiletries and outdoor gear. The property listing is very representative of what you get in terms of the layout and condition of the home. There is significantly more inventory onsite (furnishings, ammenities, gear, etc) than what is listed in the property description. We loved this property for the fact that it has oceanfront beach, pool and the Indian River Lagoon. We used all three every day! The house was a great size for our family of five. We had plenty of space to have 2-3 more people in another room. The drive to Sebastian or Vero Beach is about 20 minutes for restaurants and stores. No big deal for us...we like the fact that the home is away from busy downtown areas. The property owner is fantastic. He was available and responsive ASAP for a few inquiries before our stay, and the whole time we were at the property. As good as it gets in terms of a property owner that we've ever dealt with on a VRBO. We would absolutely recommend him and this home, and we will for sure consider renting here again.

Amazing!!

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few rental properties but this was by far the nicest home we’ve ever stayed in!! Loved everything about it. Such a unique location so you get to enjoy both the ocean and the Indian River, which we did every day. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, including bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, it was all there. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms all had plenty of towels and even soap, shampoo and toothbrushes were available. Great communication with the owners as well. Definitely hope to return.

The most completely furnished and accessorized property we have rented in 20 years. Had an equipment malfunction and the owner went the extra mile at considerable expense to quickly remedy the situation. Hope to be back next year.

Winter getaway

This property has something for everyone! The house itself is perfect just as in the pictures. The master bedroom is from lifestyles of the rich and famous. There is a nice pool and tiki hut to lounge around. The ocean beach is quiet and like having your own private beach. The river front dock and tiki hut were an added bonus. Between the river and ocean we caught just about every fish possible. Great place!

If you like beach-front vacations in comfortable, quiet, light and bright, roomy, well-outfitted accomodations, you'll really like this place. If you want a pool, hot-tube, grass hut, you've got it out the back. Out front and across the road are quiet park like grounds that end at the Intercoastal, with a few long, wooden piers. Lovely setting to watch the sun go down.

Best Christmas Present to ourselves

This house and location was perfect for our family reunion. We came from 3 cold northern states and thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. The house was advertised exactly as we found it. The pool, beach and pier gave us hours of sitting, sunning, swimming and fishing. Two avid fisher-people were successful from the beach all day, every day! I can’t praise the owners enough!! At this time of Covid they reassured us about travel and cancellation concerns we had. They were very easy to contact and answered any questions . They also were very proactive taking care of little things we didn’t realize needed attention. I highly recommend this rental and we look forward to returning. Thank you!

First class experience!

Owners were SUPERB! Great communicators and extremely helpful! Property is excellent and more than we possibly expected! Location is perfect for a sunrise, sunset, and day-long sun, and you never need to leave the home! Kitchen well stocked! Many outdoor spaces to enjoy (decks, poolside, dock, ocean view). Easy access for walking or biking. Impressive seashell variety on the beach. VERY comfortable stay. Not your normal rental! HIGHLY recommend.

Everything you need, plus gorgeous views out every window

Amazing house on both the ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. The pictures showcasing the views don’t do it justice. The house is gleaming and stocked with everything you could need, down to beer and wine, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste, and all sorts of water toys and kayaks. Extremely well stocked kitchen. We fished off the dock over the lagoon (caught a fish even), and spent a lot of time in the heated pool. It was one of the best pools in terms of actually being well heated we’ve experienced at a rental. It’s a 20 min or so drive to most restaurants/shopping etc, but that was what we were looking for given the pandemic. Owners were super responsive and so easy to work with. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Awesome Place - Beautiful Location - Love It!

My kids and I were very pleased with this rental. I would love to live there. It is perfect if you are looking for an upscale house away from the hustle and bustle of most vacation beaches. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean through the large windows and watching the sunset over the river from the roof top deck. My kids loved direct access to the mostly private beach, then to the pool, to the house for a snack then to the river for some paddle boarding. The house is beautiful as well. You could actually just show up with clothes and be fine. The owners provide many conveniences all the way to providing a new toothbrush and new toothpaste at every sink. You will have to get food own food although there are some non-perishable items in the cabinet. Several bags of coffee, 6 pack of cold adult beverages and some wine and a bottle of champagne. Grocery stores and some restaurants are not to far away. I do not have any complaints at all. I absolutely recommend this rental. The owners are great and very helpful. They will text or call you if you have any questions or issues.

Amazing Beach House rental!

My family & I had an amazing time. Property was very clean & had everything you can imagine including bikes, water sports, bbq, fishing gear, plenty of space for your boat which we took our 40ft boat & able to cruise around. Definitely will rent again!

More than perfect!

This house has more than you could ever need. I never needed half the items I brought from home. Every kitchen utensil and pan you could imagine. We brought our paddle boards from home too...didn’t need them. They have it all. We did tow two boats and they were used often for fishing. Easy tie up as well. We hope to come back for a future vacation. Thanks again for everything!

Spring break with kids

We had the best time on our spring break with a 6 and 1 year old. The location was perfect. The pool was a big hit with the kids. If ever again in the vero area we will most definitely stay at this house again.

Great Location & Outstanding Owners

Just as described online! Wonderful decks to relax on and view both the sunrise & sunset. You don’t find many properties so close to both the Atlantic & Indian River. The walkway to the boathouse/cabana in the river had great fish viewing including dolphins cruising around. And you can’t get any closer to the beach! And the pool area & cabana by pool great to hang out around/in. The area is somewhat protected if you happen to run into high winds you can still hang out there, not to mention get in and out of the sun. House is wonderfully stocked w great utensils, cookware etc. Not skimpy or cheap like some houses. They even supply spare toothbrushes in case you forgot yours😁. And on top of all that the owners are highly friendly & responsive to any questions or issues one might have. They think of the little things that make your stay worry free. I’d recommend these owners, this house & location to anyone!

Beautiful beach house!

This is a beautifully decorated beach house complete with everything you would need for a lovely stay. Incredible ocean views, beach access, plus pool and hot tub. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating.

Best surfing and fishing escape!

Amazing access to both the beach and the a beautiful dock on the bay/creek. Super fun low key fishing, great surfing, house is super comfortable. Jacuzzi and heated pool are great. Only warning would be that the S-shaped case is the only access up to the master bedroom area and is not easy to navigate for children, elderly people or those with any physical handicap.
