Need a beautiful, relaxing vacation, with a peaceful place to fish right off the dock?? We’ve got a place for you here on Smith Mountain Lake. What makes our property different from other vacation properties on Smith Mountain Lake?? Simple.....we are located on the cleanest, clearest, deepest, biggest part of the lake. Our home is centrally located and offers some of the most breath taking wide water sunset views you've ever seen. The view is simply as good as it gets. The property adjoins a perfect recessed cove that provides low boat traffic ideal for swimming off the huge boat dock, along with a covered boat slip and extra docking space. Some of the best fishing on the lake is right off our dock! If fishing isn't your thing, you can sit under the covered dock on the porch swing and read a book, listen to music, watch the gorgeous sunset, take one of the two canoes or one of the two kayaks out to explore, or you can just float on a raft. The property is designed with children in mind. No need to worry about your little ones wandering into the lake. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake while your children play in the fenced in yard with swing set and toys. This property also features an expansive ball field for those soccer players, baseball enthusiasts and fun loving outdoorsman. If biking or hiking is your thing, the Smith Mountain Lake State Park is just a couple miles from the house, with awesome hiking trails and roads for biking. There is also a fabulous beach area at the park.

Back at the house you will find a spacious screened in porch with cozy deck furniture, the perfect spot to watch the gorgeous sunsets or the kids fishing from the dock. A Weber gas grill is located on the deck just off the screened in porch. Below the deck is a large hot tub looking out over the lake. A beautiful fenced in yard with a swing set and toys for the kids, along with a fire pit for enjoying the night stars and roasting smore’s.

The lawn slopes gently to a large, covered dock with a hose pumped from the lake. The dock features ceiling fans, a huge picnic table, deck furniture, floating dock, and a storage room/cabana with an under counter refrigerator and small microwave. There are steps on the floater as well as steps into the lake. Room for up to 3 boats. For the avid fisherman, we’ve got you covered too. At night, become mesmerized by our submerged green fish attracting light. Sit back, relax, and enjoy as this amazing underwater light beautifully illuminates the waterway and attracts the entire aquatic food chain for your viewing or sporting pleasure!

There is ample paved parking with room for several cars and boat trailer parking.

The house is lined with large windows throughout which open almost every space in the house to a view of the lake. Three awesome two way fireplaces provide fire views at night from numerous spaces in the home. Upon entering the home you walk into a two story open space full of windows and light. On the main level, the living room and dining room share a spectacular large two story two way wood burning stone fireplace. The living room has lots of seating and a large flat screen HD TV and Blue Ray DVD/CD player. The dining room adjoins the custom kitchen. The dining room table with seating for eight combined with the four kitchen bar stools and four seat breakfast table allow for seating of sixteen. The custom kitchen includes granite countertops, top of the line appliances, small flat screen TV and the breakfast table all overlooking the lake. The lakeside master suite features a king bed and large bathroom with a garden jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, flat screen HD TV and shares a two way gas fireplace with the bathroom. An office/den complete with professional desk and comfortable furniture provides space for those who need to do occasional work or get away with a good book. The laundry room and a second half bath are also on the main level.

The upper level consists of three bedrooms (two with views of the lake) and a large full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a twin rollout. The third bedroom has a full bed with a twin bunk overtop and a full rollout.

The lower level provides all the entertainment you could ask for. A large custom bar has seating for six, refrigerator, dishwasher, ice machine and the essentials for the adult comforts. A flat screen HD TV is next to the bar to ensure you don’t miss your favorite sporting event. The bar area adjoins a space with an eight person table ideal for games and family time. The bar area also adjoins the billiards room with a high end pool table and pub style dart board. The lower living room is just on the other side of the two way gas fireplace. This room provides plenty of seating, a flat panel HD TV, DVD/Blue Ray, and Wii (video and board games provided). For those who love a good book, the living room also features book shelves loaded with books. The lower level also features a 6 person hot tub off the patio. Views of the lake from just about every room in this house.

Our home is on a 1.4 acre lot with a large flat grassy area. Great for volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, soccer or baseball.

This home is intended for families. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood with extremely friendly, full-time residents. Therefore, out of respect for our good friends who are full-time residents, we do not host weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, large reunions, or house parties.
