This beautiful home is within walking distance to shopping, parks/playgrounds, biking/walking paths, beaches, restaurants and pubs, Shuswap and Mara lakes, and only 1 block from the local arena and baseball diamonds.
The Song Bird House is minutes away from all the popular sledding mountains, with plenty of parking for sleds, trailers and boats.

The space

Newly renovated, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home surrounded by beautiful trees in a quiet neighborhood. Drying room to dry all your gear after a day of being on the mountains. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub under the stars. Fully equipped kitchen all set for preparing delicious meals. Comfortable beds in cozy bedrooms for peaceful sleeps

Guest access

Guests will have full access to this large 2600 square foot home split between two levels.
The home is fully furnished and includes all bedding, towels, bbq, large hot tub, free WIFI, multiple TVs equipped with Netflix/cable and a dream kitchen fully equipped to host large functions. There are 5 bedrooms with 8 individual beds. There are also 10 on site parking stalls. Sicamous business license number 225. So you can book with confidence with this fully licensed home

We are always available to help our guests with any questions. We strive to make sure our guests have the most comfortable stay possible.

Other things to note

Please enjoy your stay at The Song Bird House, but treat the home as if it were your own and respect the neighbors. All pets need to be cleaned up after and kept on the property otherwise additional charges may occur. Please ensure the hot tub is kept clean and soap free. If the hot tub needs to be drained after your stay there will be a $200 fee. There is no smoking allowed inside the home or hot tub.

Wonderful communication. Terrific unit with a beautiful backyard and hot tub. The sitting and eating areas were superb. Beds are like pillow hugs that love you as you sleep! The hosts have thought of almost everything you could possible need.

Perfect Place
If you are looking in Sicamous or area, this is the perfect place. Tons of space. A fantastic deck and back yard with a hot tub. Everything was well stocked and clean. Communication was excellent. Could not recommend it more.

Great location except the Firehall across the street :) So very well appointed; kitchen had everything we needed (cookie sheets could be renewed), beds were super comfy & 3 bathrooms great for 13 females!! Great back yard & deck - loved the hot tub deck - we spent a lot of time outside.

Great spot for a family get together
We had all of our kids and their kids. It was a great place for a larger group. The backyard was incredible for gathering at night and hanging out. Big trees with shade for summer afternoons. Inside was great everyone had their own room and each was nicely air conditioned.

We have stayed here two years in a ro. The house is so close to the main attractions, minutes to the beach, and the grocery store. We ate on the deck for every meal! Host had a well stocked kitchen for us and answered us right away when we had questions.

Ideal location for a quiet lake holiday
The home was clean, comfortable and ideal for our extended family gathering. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation, we loved the backyard, there is amole parking and its only minutes to drive to the lake to launch a boat or spend time at the beach. Downtown is a short walk away to get ice cream to get groceries and more.

A group of us stayed at the Songbird for a snowmobile trip and the property works perfectly, Lots of parking, a drying space with gear dryers, hot tub and in walking distance to a couple restaurants.

A five star property
We were a family group of eight adults and one little one. The property is great to spend a week relaxing and visiting. Folks enjoyed the hot tub, plenty of rooms for sleeping. We really enjoyed the covered deck and spent a lot of time on it. The owners are easy and willing to help you . Would love to stay again.

We did not have great weather but rain was greatly needed and the accommodation was fabulous to play family games and relax! The Enchanted Forest and the climbing was great t so on a rainy day! Our family highly recommends this as a family home holiday destination!

This place was perfect. There were 9-10 adults, 2 kids and one toddler. Each room with AC. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious.The covered deck and the patio under the trees gave shade when needed. The hot tub clean and was enjoyed at night. The kitchen was well stocked. Even a high chair for the littlest one. The kids had fun with the foosball and crokinole board. The yard was large and fully fenced (that’s a big plus for kids and dog). The beach was close, clean and beautiful (even a water splash park was there). Owners were quick to respond with any inquiries we had. We would definitely 100% stay here again. Everyone in our group thank Shane and Rhonda for their thoughtfulness in all the little things that made our stay perfect! Carol and Franc

Canceled wedding
We booked expecting to spend most of our time setting up and being at a wedding. Unfortunately the wedding got canceled so the weekend turned into more of a family gathering. We were a little worried about having no plans but the yard and games downstairs were great. Loved the large outdoor deck.

Great location with sufficient room for all parties. Good beds and nice deck to relax with all that is needed for cooking. Overall amazing property. Some minor things such as bbq tank ran out and some small critters specifically spiders in the basement bedrooms. Partner had phobia. Otherwise. Great location, spacious , nicely labelled to find all that is needed.

My wife and I have both grown up in Sicamous and have lived here our entire lives. We have raised three children in Sicamous. Once you spend a few days on the lake you will see why we never plan on leaving.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family since it was new. We felt that Sicamous could use more places for family’s to come and vacation for an affordable price.

What makes this property unique

Sicamous is right in the middle of two beautiful lakes so as you have choices in the summer. Sicamous is also has some of the best snowmobiling in Canada with lots of choices of hills. If you would rather ski then if you stay here you are within 45 minutes of great hills like Revelstoke and silver star.
