The rental is exactly as listed in the description. It is a nice place in a good location. The owner is very attentive and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!
Sandy is a gracious host and has a lovely townhome. The listing is exactly as advertised. She has provided all that you need to cook your own meals and take care of yourself in a warm inviting environment. The internet access is exceptional which allowed for efficient remote working. For TV junkies, she has moved to an app based service and basic offerings are available. If you want something more, such as ESPN, be prepared with your own log in information. For me, I discovered my personal app travel settings were off and required attention. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing ski/work trip.
The home had everything we needed, lots of space and the location is very convenient for getting to the ski resorts and close to groceries and other amenities.
As the listing states, this is a home that someone lives in, not just a rental unit. With all of the personal items around, it felt like we were staying at a distant relative's house which did feel strange at times. Everything we needed was available and there were lots of notes around in case we had any questions. The location was great - close to shopping and restaurants. And we really enjoyed hanging out at the pool one day.
This condo was perfect for our getaway ski trip. It is exactly as advertised with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and living room. We were absolutely delighted! Everything that was needed for cooking was provided, including some spices and condiments. It was located close to nearby shopping and great restaurants. At the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, we were able to access Alta/Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude ski areas very quickly. We will definitely come back next year. What a find!
Nice big property about 20 minutes drive to Alta Snowbird. House was clean and well appointed. Owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.
My college aged son's and I stayed for a ski trip to the Salt Lake area resorts. Convenient suburban location and comparable in distance as the Cottonwood area hotels to Snowbird and Alta. Feels like staying in a very clean, very comfortable, well maintained lived in home (as opposed to a condo in a resort area that is always rented out). Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfy and we all slept well and enjoyed all the room. Sandy, the host, was so nice and amazing going out of her way to help us when we had trouble navigating the streaming service on TV and ensuring that we could catch the bowl games we wanted to see. Best, most responsive host, and we are very experienced travelers.
We enjoyed our stay at the townhouse very much. It was very clean and organized. The location was convenient for Alta/Snowbird and grocery shopping.
It was easy to communicate with the host and she was extremely kind when we needed her help!
Sandra’s home was clean and cozy. Beautiful home with wonderful amenities. The community center and jacuzzi facilities were awesome. Great location. We will definitely stay their again.
I would absolutely stay here again. Very comfortable, lots of space, fully furnished. The owners were responsive and respectful. Close to lots of ski resorts, hiking, groceries, and restaurants. We easily made day trips to SLC, the salt flats, and park city/deer lake area. The owners were also knowledgable of the area and things to do. Thanks Sandy!
Our first time in Utah for skiing. Spent a week. Great accommodations. Very safe, clean, inviting, and convenient. Owner was responsive and on top of things. Highly recommend for a family.
This townhome was perfect for our ski trip of 3 adults but could fit more. Just 20-30 minutes from Alta and Snowbird, 40-50 minutes from Brighton and Solitude and 50-60 minutes from Park City and Deer Valley. There's a Walmart and Smith's under 5 minutes away for groceries and beverages. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans. There's also a pantry with countertop appliances to meet special cooking needs. Convenient to many restaurant choices in Sandy as well if you choose not to cook in. The owners emailed often checking that everything was okay, but we had no issues to report. Garage parking was a definite plus. I highly recommend this property and hope it's available for another trip to Utah soon.
This was our home away from home for 2 weeks. Sandy was such a great host. She helped us find activities for my son to do in the area, gave my new baby a gift and was ready to answer any questions we had. The open layout of den and the kitchen was great. The couches and gas fireplace were so relaxing after a day of skiing, sledding and what ever activities we could get into. This house is convenient to the ski bus route, Walmart and a bunch of restaurants. It has an amazing view of the valley and mountains on the trail behind it too. Thanks Sandy!

Our son lives in Sandy. This home could not have been more convenient, comfortable, welcoming or well appointed for us. The beautiful HOLYdays decorations made it both festive & homey. We would return!

I cannot say enough good things about the owners of this property. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We felt like we were staying at a relative's home. They had a ton of toys and books that my 3-year-old loved. They also had a pack and play for our newborn. There were plenty of warm blankets and a fireplace to stay cozy on cold nights. There were a variety of spices that we used for cooking and a blender that we used for making smoothies. They have a nice big bathtub in the master bath that my son loved. There are plenty of parks and a swimming pool (seasonal) and hot tub within walking distance of the home. We stayed in October so were able to enjoy all of the festive Halloween decorations around the house-and there were plenty! They also had a ton of Halloween books for kids and a Play-Doh station which my son really loved. The owners were in the area if we needed anything during our stay. We can't thank you enough for treating us like family!! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Utah!!
Great Place to Stay for Skiing Snowbird, Alta, Solitude
A comfortable home in a great location to easily reach the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts. All the comforts of home are provided. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub, just one block away, at the clubhouse. A fully stocked kitchen made the nights that we decided to eat in a breeze. Ubers to SLC are 20.00.

Wonderful and comfortable home
Robert and his family shared their lovely home with my team and me during a recent team outing in Salt Lake City. The layout and amenities were spot on for our needs and Robert was very responsive and made the stay very easy. We really appreciated the opportunity and would recommend to anyone.

Great place for skiers
The condo was very comfortable and clean. Garage parking was a plus since it snowed each night we were there. Super fast access to Big and Little Cottonwood canyons made getting to and from skiing fast, while the washer/dryer, Jacuzzi (clubhouse) and many close eating establishments made the post-skiing experience good. Easy communication with responsive owners. Two thumbs up!

About the host
Hosted by Sandra Pederson
We are an older couple and we travel a lot. We love to have people stay when we are not here. I am a professional dancer, retired, but still love it. My husband is retired military and owns several businesses. We have a big family and love every minute of it.
Why they chose this property
When my first husband passed away of Leukemia, I bought this townhome because of the convenience of the location and the beauty and safety of the area. I have loved it ever since.
What makes this property unique
I loved the front porch and the view out the back. Plenty of room for kids to run and play games. I loved the layout of the home and the convenience to many shopping and eating places. The view from the bedroom is great to look out at.
