White Beach Cottage - pet friendly for dogs

Unwind in this Hamptons inspired cosy beach cottage enjoying 160 degree ocean and headland views with modern inclusions and comfort in mind: ducted airco throughout, free WIFI, BBQ. Just one street back from the beach. Lovingly detailed, the relaxed and open plan interior blends indoor and outdoor living. Light, airy, and stylish modern interior, renovated in white tones. A minutes stroll to the beach, providing a perfect coastal getaway. Please notify us in advance when bringing your dog(s).

LAYOUT AND BEDDING
2 bedrooms and 2 beds:

Master bedroom opens up onto the back deck, watch the outdoors and star lit skies from your bed!

Downstairs features a spacious kitchen with all appliances you need for a comfortable stay, including a breakfast/dining table or alfresco dining on the deck.
The open plan master bedroom is to the left and a second bedroom to the right. A bathroom is situated between the rooms in the hallway, towards the outside deck. A second sneaky toilet is located in the laundry room off the outdoor back deck.
The back deck consists of two levels.
First level is for seating or dining and the second lower deck for a lounge area with optional hammock hooks and hammock available. Stepping down again, the deck opens up to a large green sloping lawn. The garden is fully fenced.
Upstairs features a very comfy lounge/TV room with 55 inch smart tv and has a separate verandah with magnificent ocean views. You can watch the whales pass by from May to November during their yearly migration.

WALK TO BEACH, CAFE'S AND SHOPS
The cottage is located on the beach side of Ocean Drive, the main coastal route from Lake Cathie to Port Macquarie. The beach is a few minutes walk via a short cut route, Middle Rock Surf break is 800 metres away. Once you are in the house and on the back deck you find yourself in a relaxing setting and hardly recall you are in the heart of Lake Cathie with cafe's, restaurants, tavern, and shopping centre just 500 metres down the road. Lake Cathie is a small coastal town and has no traffic lights, just a few main streets, traffic in this small coastal town dies down after 6.30pm.

Great Beachside stay

Lovely well appointed cottage. Great relaxing beach stay we were after. Only one negative & hate to say it because such a great property, as beautiful as 2nd bedroom is had zero privacy for 17 year old son.

Lovely ocean breeze through the cottage

Enjoyed our stay very much. It felt so friendly with beautiful plants around and ornaments & books. The steps everywhere were a bit of concern for us, but we managed . So many extra treats too many to name ❤️

Amazing place

Loved staying here. So much thought has gone into ensuring you have a wonderful stay from the basket of treats to the wonderful outdoor area and the large screen upstairs for movies. I could see the stairs being a problem for some. Really comfy beds. The pups loved the back yard and beach. Planning my next stay already. Thank you

Beautiful White Beach Cottage

My family all had a wonderful stay at White Beach Cottage at Lake Cathie. Everything about this cottage is perfect and the maintenance including the delightful garden was fantastic. Inside the cottage was immaculate and very clean and fresh with a beautiful view of the sea. There was a generous welcome share and leave basket which was a lovely surprise and a bottle of wine to enjoy on our first night. Lake Cathie is a lovely friendly village and the Tavern in the village did excellent meals. We will definitely come back to stay again one day. Thank you!

A Great House and puppy Friendly too!!

We had a fantastic stay. It is a brilliantly finished holiday home, everything you might need for a perfect get away. It is a great location with a beautiful out look to the sea, shops near by and an easy drive to so many things in the Port Macquarie area. What also made it extra special was the lovely features and of the home, it was so comfortable and modern. It was also a perfect place to stay with our puppy. The beach behind the house is dog friendly so she enjoyed many morning walks along the beach. We will most definitely stay again.

Our stay at the white cottage

Beautiful relaxing property! Sitting on the deck listening to the ocean is heaven. We brought our two dogs along and they had a fantastic time at the house along with daily runs on the nearby dog friendly beach. The place was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We will defiantly consider coming back.

You miss it as soon as you leave

A very lovely and cosy house with enough space for the people living in it. Wonderful greenery and beautiful location. A good kitchen and cookware. The checkin process was seamless and the whole week was very enjoyable. Its full of things to keep you entertained and a beautiful deck. The master bedroom may lack a bit of privacy but it didn’t impede our time at all. The speaker and projector are such a privilege. It was a wonderful time for quite a good price so thanks for having us!

Very clean and welcoming.

Easy to rent. I wasn't aware of amount of stairs inside. A bit troublesome for someone with lung problems. For me the loungeroom would've been better off the kitchen instead of a bedroom, sorry.

We enjoyed a short get away with our puppy at White Beach Cottage.

The property was very clean and extremely comfortable. Everything was provided, except for a hair dryer which would have been nice as there was no sitting outside in the sun as we had constant rain. The inclusion of a huge screen/projector with Netflix, Binge & Amazon was an unexpected bonus which we really appreciated. White Beach Cottage was the best holiday rental that we have stayed in and I would like to thank the owner for supplying everything you could need. Also a mention of the Agents that were very organized and on top of everything. We hope to return again for a longer stay and better weather.

Lake Cathie Gem

This property is phenomenal, the photos don’t do the house full justice - undersold and over delivered! The property is serviced very well with every provision needed. The owners have done a fantastic job in the renovation and interior design creating a relaxing vacation home. The personalised welcome card and hamper were a very nice touch as well that we greatly appreciated. Above all this property is very accomodating for pets with ample toys, backyard and treats for the pooch which for us is a priority when travelling. 10/10 would highly recommend to our family and friends, and we will certainly be back sometime soon for another stay. Cute beach cottage

My family plus dog had a very comfortable stay at this lovely renovated cottage. The owners have thought about everything with catalogue of local sightseeing recommendations, generous pantry items and welcome basket. Would happily stay again.

Doggy Heaven!

Beachside Oasis Dream

This abode was a dream, it felt like we were in an oasis. Every little corner has a special piece or plant making this house feel like a home. The ocean views are stunning and the convenience of the beach one minute walk away makes it even better! The owners have thought of everything to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend, can’t wait for my next visit!

Great Place to Stay

We were apprehensive due to the recent bushfires, when we arrived the owner was washing down the decks and outside furniture to remove any ash or dust. The house was spotless as was the ease of access on arrival, nothing was too hard either from the owner or the managing agents solscape.com.au. We will definitely be using them again. Beautiful beach house with luxury touches

This beachhouse was beautifully renovated in a fabulous Hamptons style including hammock, ocean views and high quality homewares and fittings. The kitchen was very well stocked, even full of food that could be eaten if you arrive late and need a quick snack. Very thoughtfully put together in every way including fascinating books, games, artwork and more. Only suggestion would be to take earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the road noise can be a bit annoying. 1 min walk to the beach, close to shops and only 8 mins drive to great restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
