This is our second stay at Dancing Bear. The property is well located. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Marlene and Bill are excellent hosts, attentive to requests and needs, and easy to work with. We’ll be back for a three-peat!
We loved this place and can’t wait to come back. The perfect get away for our family. Close to restaurants and downtown. Just a short ride to the ski mountain.
This was our second stay. Good space for our family and clean. Nice, quiet setting. 10 minute drive to Mt snow and good location. Overall a comfortable place for us stay and will def return.
This house is in a great neighborhood with its own ice skating rink/pond, clubhouse with indoor heated pool and game room, ... just 2 to 3 minutes front downtown.
Things that we struggled with as a family were three of the four bedrooms not having closets (one of which had one, but it remains locked) and there being no shower on the main floor.
Things we enjoyed were the beautiful views, the bar in the small sunroom (fun for playing cards), and the great sight lines between the kitchen, dining room and family room. It made enjoying time with each other easy.
Our stay was very nice and the cabin was perfect. We arrived a day early and the owners were great to work with and nothing was a problem with them. As far as owners go, they are 6 stars.
A little dusty, but otherwise it was clean and the beds were great to sleep in. We really loved the pellet stove which warmed the family room in no time. We would rent this cabin again, that says it all.....
We had a great stay at the Dancing Bear Lodge. it is a beautiful home in a great location close to skiing at Mount Snow. Lots of space for our group of 8. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We hope to be back.
The property was so neat and clean. Everything was as listed and advertised in Vrbo. Property manager was so cooperative and reachable all the time. I give lot of credits to her for making our family vacation so memorable one. I recommend to everyone to stay this property and feel the real nature in the mountain what Vermont brings to everyone. One of the best family vacation ever, especially during this horrible pandemic!!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Warning. Outdoor cameras
I first want to indicate that before I submitted this review, I attempted to resolve any issues with the host who unfortunately was not receptive. VRBO is looking into it.
Overall our stay was somewhat enjoyable. Due to COVID-19 several things were changed/not available, some of which we were notified about (number of people listed was 8 though we were told only 5) and others we were not. Things we were not informed of was limited access to the pool, the fact that the outdoor patio furniture was in a shed and covered in dust and that there was no outdoor grill. All of the above could be understandable however the thing that bothered all of 5 of us was the outdoor video cameras (which we were told about) and the fact that the host talked to us through them (scaring several people). Due to the lack of grill we purchased a disposable one which was raised and placed on aluminum foil on the outside deck. The host was notified of this by neighbors (?) and attempted to call me however my phone was inside. She then proceeded to talk through the camera requesting that we move the BBQ to the fire pit, which we did. After that we were concerned that we were being watched constantly, a very unpleasant feeling.
House was overall comfy, though not sure I would stay again
