Overall the house was wonderful for a large group. There were 18 adults staying in the house for our wedding weekend and we spent a ton of time at the house because of all the amenities and space. Ping pong table, air hockey, pool table, jacuzzi, a big grass lawn in the front of the house, fire pit, grill, etc.
We also hosted an event with the owner's approval + and additional fee, and there was plenty of space for parking and for people to sit, hangout and enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset and forested area.
The house seems well-lived in and used. A few things were broken and/or stained but nothing that impacted the stay. It is well-stocked with a full kitchen, towels, and toiletries. We couldn't find a single remote for the many TVs in the house, but we didn't have much time for TV anyways.
Wifi wasn't awesome for the amount of people connected, especially because there is no service out in the area wifi is a must if you need to find your way into town or need access to call/work.
Communication with the property owner wasn't great. Although she would respond quickly, there were multiple times I asked questions that were never answered. We also never got check-in instructions on how to get into the house. I had to reach out during late hours from traveling and was lucky to hear back before we completely lost service. The listing also was not completely true on the amenities included when we booked. They look to be updated now.
Overall the house is good for a large group. It's a beautiful area + property, a very big house with plenty of space and beds. Theres a ton of toys and other amenities for adults and children to enjoy. There's not much to do in the area but it was perfect for our wedding party since our venue was only 20 mins away and we spent so much time at the house.
There were two kittens that spent the weekend with us. Not sure if they live at the house or if they belong to a neighbor but it was a sweet surprise and they were extremely friendly. There was also a wild ferret that lives under the wood in the backyard who made an appearance once or twice but seemed friendly when it came out!
