Ohana equals family in Hawaiian. Ohana Cottage is a newly renovated cottage just blocks from Main Street Lake Placid, Olympic Museum, Outdoor Skating Oval, Hockey/Figure Skating Rinks and Mirror Lake
Cozy open design cottage for your enjoyment. Master bedroom with Queen bed, open sleeping loft and cathedral ceilings in this wonderful modern Adirondack home within the Lake Placid Village. Second bedroom has a twin trundle. Enjoy all the town has to offer. WIFI on premises

Being new to VRBO we would like to share our home with guests. Our goal is that you enjoy the High Peaks region and the Olympic Village as much as we have since our first visit 3 years ago. We truly enjoy Main Street with its unique shops and eateries. Especially after an active day of hiking, biking, paddling or just hanging around with good friends and family. Great spot in Lake Placid

The owner was awesome and very accommodating. The mattresses on the adult beds were comfortable memory foam and my young children loved the trundle bed!

Exactly as listed! Easy to control internal Temperature & beautiful open feel while still being cozy. Screened front porch absolutely perfect for snowy, wet gear:)

Great location

Took my three boys ages 8-14 and their grandmother for the Summit lacrosse tournament. Location was great. Place was clean and weather was mild so no AC wasn't an issue. Boys loved the loft. My oldest slept up there. The night we arrived and the entire next day it rained and thunderstormed. The property didn't have a smart TV but there was a wii so boys played wii sports all weekend.

Convenient, clean and family friendly.

Very happy with our experience. Family of four with two young children. Booked it for IMLP and it was only a few blocks to walk to the oval. Home had everything you would need along with being clean and well stocked. Had a problem with the drain in the bathroom and it was quickly fixed! Communication was outstanding and quick to respond. If I come back to Lake Placid i would not hesitate to book again. Definitely one of our better experiences. Thank you!!!

This was a great place to stay for our time in Lake Placid. Close enough to everything on our list. Nice to have separate places for the teens to hang out.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed staying here. The listing was very accurate. My family of 6 felt very at home. It had everything that we needed to relax and to continue on our road trip. The location was great and very accessible to town. The ladder was a little tricky, but my kids only needed to go up/down a couple times a day. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy cottage in a good location

This was the perfect place for my family of four! We were just a short walk to Main Street and the rinks (the main reason for our stay). The kids loved the loft - it was their little hideaway. We were there during one of the coldest weekends with -27 degree temps but we wouldn't have known because the house was toasty. Our host was very quick to respond with any questions, especially when I accidentally locked myself out! Sorry about that! We loved our time in Lake Placid and would absolutely stay here again.

Great Cottage and Better Location

The Ohana Cottage was an amazing place to stay. The house was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. My children loved the loft with its library ladder. Even better was the convince to town, being less than a half mile from the Olympic Center. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Perfect location!

This house is perfect for kids and teenagers. The loft has enough room for 3-4 people to sleep and it’s really cool for them because of the ladder they can easily climb up. My boys are 7 and 9- they built a fort up there and enjoyed the space. The house was clean and in a perfect location. Will definitely book here again!

Great place for a family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and well maintained, with plenty of room for our 3 teenagers, my wife, and myself. It took us <20 minutes to walk to the far end of the Main Street stores, so we enjoyed the location as well. The access was laundry was key since we were in town for a baseball tournament. Great place for a family to stay!

Perfect summer getaway

This space was perfect for me, my wife, and two kids. My oldest especially loved the loft he could have to himself. Within walking distance to stores and beach. Check in was easy and communication was great. Would strongly recommend.

Beautiful interior!!!

We were very impressed with the upkeep, cleanliness, and decor of the inside of this rental!! My teen boys thought the library ladder was cool and argued over who got to sleep up there. Everything was very organized and clean, and very well appointed with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, paper supplies, utensils, dishes, cookware, condiments, etc. We loved that it was within walking distance of downtown LP (half mile) so we didn't have to pay for parking downtown, we only wish we hadn't gotten caught in the rain every evening we went down there. lol Only a couple drawbacks: -no AC (wasn't an issue for us since the owners had aired it out prior to our arrival and it was pretty cool during our stay) -check in time was later than advertised, and check out time was earlier than advertised, so be sure to verify before making your travel plans -we were asked to strip the beds and empty the trash even though we paid a cleaning fee

Perfectly Located

We were happy to find that the place looked exactly as pictured, and our family of four was very comfortable and had room to stretch out. It was only a 10 minute walk (tops) to Main Street, Lake Placid, which was key for us on such a short stay (two nights). Our only complaint was that we brought a bunch of DVD's knowing we might get bad weather, only to find that there isn't really a DVD player. (The owner told us the wii could be used to play DVD's, but we could not get that to work, and the internet suggests that it's not actually possible.) Despite that, we had a nice stay and would recommend the place to others.

Best VRBO yet

This property was top notch. I was very happy with this cottage. The house is fully stocked with all that you need. Washer/dryer, utensils, plates, cups, cooking supplies and my favorite was the plentiful supply of towels in the bathroom! The pictures are very accurate depiction of the place. It was big enough for the 4 of us to have our own space. The wifi was spotty and we couldn't figure out how to watch television but my son was able to setup his gaming systems. The owner was extremely easy to work with and when an issue arose he responded immediately. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your cottage.
