About this property

Briar Rose Cottages - Cedar Cottage

Cedar Cottage is a charming, newly renovated three bedroom house located on the outskirts of Stanthorpe, one kilometre to the Main Street shopping district, cafes and eateries. Cedar Cottage has been beautifully renovated and can comfortably sleep six guests. The cottage contains two queen beds and two single beds, has a fully equipped kitchen and two brand new spacious bathrooms. The log fire will keep you toasty warm in winter and the air conditioning will keep you comfortably cool in summer. The front porch is perfect to enjoy your morning cuppa and the back deck is just the place to crack open your bottle of local wine while watching the sunset in the evening. The back yard is shady and private and you can relax with a good book under the shade of the trees.
There is a centrally located fire pit for the enjoyment of all Briar Rose Cottage guests - just the spot to sit around with your family or friends, toasting marshmallows on a chilly Granite Belt evening.

A fantastic place to stay in Stanthorpe. Beautifully presented, great fireplace with plenty of firewood provided, many extras ( Port & Tim Tams ) to make the stay pleasurable. Easy walk into town. Highly recommend.

NQ Girls wine tour
We had an amazing stay at Cedar Cottage. The place was lovely and clean when we arrived with the fireplace stacked and ready to light. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Very cosy, warm and welcoming with a packet of Tim Tams waiting for us on the coffee table. The kitchen was fabulous with every utensil you could think of. We would definitely stay there again. We stayed here for a 50th birthday weekend and had a great time. The property is well appointed and in excellent condition. The facilities provide everything you need. It is in a quiet location but quick drive to the town centre. We enjoyed the warmth of the pot bellied stove and had a great time. During the heavy rain on Saturday, we enjoyed some old DVDs we haven't seen for years. We really had a lovely weekend and it was great to have a comfortable home to return to after a day of activity.

Modern and Relaxing Home away from Home
A girlfriend and I had 2 nights at this gorgeous cottage. Our arrival was on a very cold autumn day and Debbie had the fire lit and the cottage warm for us for when we arrived. The cottage contained everything to make our stay comfortable and the beds were fantastic. It is centrally located in Stanthorpe and close to so many great wineries in the area. Debbie was attentive in her communication throughout the booking stage and when we were staying. If either of us are in the area again we would certainly book here or one of the other cottages again.

Modern well appointed property within easy walking distance to town.
Lovely property, well laid out for our group of five. Great fireplace and plenty of wood. Very clean and modern, well stocked kitchen, plenty of glasses, cutlery and crockery, wanted for nothing. Expresso machine included which is great.

I have been owning and operating Briar Rose Cottages for almost three years (Mulberry Cottage and Silky Oak Cottage) and have enjoyed every moment! When the home next door came up for sale I just had to buy it so that I could accommodate larger groups and families. With the help of my family the home has been beautifully renovated and is ready to welcome guests to enjoy the relaxing space. I hope guests love the new Cedar Cottage as much as I do.
