Beautiful home sitting in a quiet upscale neighborhood in the middle of the City. You can enjoy the hustle/bustle to the East and the beach to the West. With Presidio Park to our North and Golden Gate Park to our South, you have many neighborhood gems within walking distance. Many local favorite restaurants and bars are within walking distance, as well as Trader Joe's and City Target.

THE SPACE
We offer a 2,200 sq ft spacious place that has 6 large bedrooms, a living/dining room, a kitchen, 3.5 baths. There is plenty of sitting area in the living room for your group to hang out. This 80 year old Victorian home is recently updated with new bathrooms and kitchen. Yet, We maintain the charming aesthetic of the house like the original wood floor, high ceiling, and light fixtures.

**Please note that we live downstairs, separated by a stairwell and door. The host has a separate entrance so guests will have this space to themselves.**

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The home is located in Jordan Park, an upscale and quiet neighborhood that is centrally located in the city. It is a short bus ride to Downtown/ Union Square or to the beach. You can also walk to Golden Gate Park to enjoy all it has to offer.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby – Laurel Village for specialty grocery and casual dining, Sacramental Street for boutique shops and fine dining, and Clement Street for farmers market (Sundays) and quick bites. Most of the restaurants are happy to deliver to this location, too. The Neighborhood is family-friendly, and you will see people jogging on the street anytime in the day.

There is plenty of street parking. At non-meter streets, it is free from 6pm to 9am overnight and limited to 2 hours during the day. Streets with meters are also free from 6pm to 9am, but require payment during the day. We usually find parking within 2 blocks from the house. There is also free 24 hours street parking a couple of blocks away.

Spacious Place in a Great Location

The place was very clean and spacious. While the furnishings are pretty bare bones, the beds and various chairs were comfortable. The kitchen is very nice and has tons of space. Access to the backyard makes for a pleasant place to hang out. The location in SF is excellent. Sandwiched between Golden Gate Park and the Presidio. Close to the California St bus line. Very close to great food, bars, and shopping on Clement St. I could go on.Some downsides: There’s no TV in the whole place, which could be inconvenient for some. Some of the toilets are in need of general maintenance. Broken seat connections, difficulty flushing, no brushes or plungers.New pillows for the beds would go a long way to making the beds even more comfortable! The current ones are pretty used and lumpy.

Nice spacious place, clean, with comfortable beds for a big group!

Very clean, good neighborhood, close to everything, and we enjoyed the space. The host was prompt in responding when checking in and very hospitable. He also quickly responded when one of the circuits blew and the fridge went down. The wifi did not work well for us and there is is no larger screen. As an extended family of 9 people, we would have enjoyed having a TV to watch a movie at night. There are no pictures or decoration, making the property feel a bit spare. Nonetheless, all the important things are there and the hosts do an outstanding job.

Amazing place for the whole family!

Great location. We loved our stay. We were so happy to all be together. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were able to walk to Golden Gate Park, Trader Joes, Hop on hop off bus - and the aunties took a short Uber. We highly recommend it!

Comfortable

Our extended family of 8 stayed at this VRBO. Everything we needed was there. Even did some cooking. Location was great for our wedding at the Presidio. Michael was very helpful with any questions we had. The blinds in one of the bedrooms would not work or pull down. Not a fancy place but certainly filled our needs for 4 days.

Family Stay

My family and kids stayed here for a few days. The location is great, safe, easy parking. Also, the location had a new pack and play for my baby which was great. The decor is dated but that's ok as the main point of the trip is to see san fran and family in town. Two large dining tables and seating for all. K-cups for coffee were great too since we woke up early with the baby. I would like to offer some points of constructive feedback. There are a few minor things that the owners can do to make this a great place. - Check in process was easy but we lacked directions otherwise. Things like the trash, towels, extra toilet paper, etc., We have been to other places that were very well organized. - Place needs a couple hours of a handy man. No major issues but everything is a little off. A few examples, door knobs not tight / wiggle, dining table wobbles, pretty much every bed as well, all the blinds were not functional or didn't open/close, layer of dust on the bathroom fans. I hand tightened things so it was safe but had I had a screwdriver, I could have resolved a lot of things. - DUSTY- there was a layer of dust over everything including the closets. Again, not a big deal as we lived out of our bags. That and the couple spiders I killed. No big deal with the spiders but the size of the cobwebs made me question if the place was cleaned prior to our arrival. - Chairs/sofa need to be replaced as springs were hard to sit on. Overall, it was good value.

Great location and plenty of space

The neighborhood was perfect for our family stay. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc within walking distance. The property had plenty of space for everyone. No tv at all so definitely bring tablets if you want to be able to watch something. Was surprised that beds did not have top sheets (only fitted sheet and comforter), no mats to keep floors from getting wet next to shower/bath, had to go searching cupboards to find towels to use and toilet paper. Great location but interior could use a bit of an upgrade for the price.

Perfect Stay and Location

Our family stayed here when we came out to San Francisco for New Year's and it worked out perfectly. The apartment was spacious so everyone could have their own bedroom and the common area was perfect for getting together at the end of the day. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating and the location was fantastic. Parking was easy, we were near to everywhere we needed to be, and staying here contributed to the wonderful trip we had. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Ladies SF Trip

We were 9 friends looking to spend a fun weekend in the city. The house was so comfortable and perfectly accommodated all 9 of us! Plenty of room for all of to sit around the table to eat talk and play games. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. They made great recommendations for restaurants and activities and the house was in a great location. We were able to walk to the presidio to watch the Blue Angels and walk to nearby restaurants and stores, or short Uber to many other options. We would definitely recommend to stay and would stay here again.

Super hosts!

Amy and Michael are everything you want in a host in a large city. We were coming in from all over the US for a family gathering. We were in terrific communication with them from the very beginning when they gave us suggestions for Dim Sum and very kindly checked in with us throughout our trip whenever asked. The rooms are large in size and there was plenty of space to stretch out. Neighborhood was great with walkability to Golden Gate Park, Trader Joe’s and a great nearby diner!

Perfect Place to Stay in SF

We absolutely loved staying in this home. The hosts were very flexible and responsive. The space was perfect for our group of friends. The neighborhood was also really nice with lots of spots to grab a bite to eat and a short walk to Golden Gate Park. I would highly recommend staying here!

Spacious and quiet condo

The condo is in a quiet neighbourhood, with good bus connection to the center of town. There are also some restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. It contains 5 large bedrooms on two levels, 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a living room. Was a pleasant experience.

Nice rental in a good neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in this property. The owners provided lots of good info about the neighborhood and made it easy for us to feel at home. The only drawbacks were the fact that the washer/dryer were broken during our stay and the kitchen was pretty sparsely stocked for a rental that accommodates 10 people. Probably not a big deal to everyone, but a rather large inconvenience for families traveling with kids and trying to limit their packing to carry-ons. These conveniences of home are what we typically love about VRBO rentals.

Lovely house in SF

Michael and Amy's house is a real oasis. The house is spacious, charming and clean and the 9 members in our party were all comfortable throughout our stay. Great choice. Parking is a bit of an ordeal, but there are some options.

Spacious, very convenient for us

Michael and Amy were wonderful hosts. We felt very much at home in their house. It was very comfortable, quiet, and roomy for us. We had a very busy few days with a wedding at City Hall and reception at the Presidio on a Friday, then seeing some sights on Saturday before we headed back home. We were less than 15 minutes away from most everything we needed to do, so the location was terrific for our visit. The backyard was nice to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. Michael came and helped us figure out Netflix when we couldn't figure out how to make it work - we appreciated his efforts. Just FYI if you bring a car - most all the local street parking is just two hours max between 8-5pm on weekdays.

Great location

This house was in a great neighborhood. It was close to many of the parks and also to many eating locations. The backyard was great too- our kids loved to play back there. We spent a week here with 2 families and had a great trip overall. We did feel there could be a few improvements- upon arriving we did not feel that the place was cleaned well. We had to wipe down the kitchen and fridge and also had a dish washer full of dirty dishes. Michael was very responsive, but it was a rocky start for us. I think they may be adjusting to families as it was once rented on a per bedroom/unit basis. Examples include a full kitchen with plates, cups, etc, but no real cookware (we found one pan and one pot). As stated earilier, overall it was a great location. Michael was very responsive and helpful, especially with regards on what to do, where to eat, etc. We did enjoy our time in San Francisco!

Great Place-Great Location!

My family and I stayed in Michael's and Amy's home for a week in December. Seven adults and two children were very comfortable--plenty of room--good sized bedrooms--two full baths and a half. The location was very convenient. I would highly recommend this home. We fully enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much Michael and Amy!!

Charming San Francisco!

Our family (10 people ranging in age from 13 -79) enjoyed a long Thanksgiving weekend in this charming, typical San Francisco flat. There was plenty of room for everyone, with good-sized bedrooms, well-equipped bathrooms and a lovely backyard. Neighborhood street parking was never difficult (be aware of parking restrictions - make sure to read all the signs) and we had walking access to pretty much everything we needed. We prepared a turkey dinner for 16 in the kitchen - we did plan ahead and bring some kitchen items with us, but the kitchen all in all was well-equipped. The house was warm, clean and sunny and Michael and Amy clearly enjoy and care for the well-being of their guests with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. A few things: the internet could have been a little more robust and the television works for Netflix, Hulu etc but didn't have any kind of cable so there were several in our party disappointed that they couldn't watch football on Thanksgiving. We used to live in the City and this place was exactly what I would have expected. Very happy and would absolutely rent it again.
