House was disappointing

Staff at resort were rude. There was an issue with our booking-it was not our fault but VRBO. Staff were unprofessional in their communication with us. House was not as pictured in listing. Dirty, no pool table and one of the bedrooms only had a bed. Pictures and description showed a dresser and t.v. in each room. Kitchen had several of unnecessary items and none of what was needed. This stay will make me look to other places than VRBO for our next vacation.

well situated for Disney

We arrived and the pool heating did not work for the first week this was party due to the hurricane, no electric and then the timer was off set. No fault of the villa . Once I contacted Villa direct then sent a man out straight away fix it , the pool netting had also been damaged in the hurricane they arranged for a contractor to fix it the next day. The welcome pack was a bonus, There was new flooring throughout. The house could do with a freshen up as it was looking tired. The kitchen had everything we needed apart from a pair of scissors.As we were there when there was a hurricane I felt the house would have benefited from a hurricane box containing a torch, candles,matches etc as we had to go and buy these. Overall it was good villa , just a little dated and a couple of broken blinds. I would book with Villa direct again.

the rental manager need to advise guest there will have to pay $ 20 per vehicle to enter at the division. which I was not made aware of . when I get at the gate the security send me to the club house to get a pass she said I need to paid $40 but please let the guest know ahead of time there will be a fee. that's all.

2nd stay was a great stay!

Love this property. This was my 2nd time staying here. Lots of room, great pool area and kitchen/living room set up nice and open for easy hang out. Only feedback is that the carpets are due for a deep clean. Lots of staining and spots in almost every room. Easy fix I think.

Nice house

The house was nice with a lot of space, almost all the bedrooms have a bathroom. They can work a little with the cleaning. Overall it was a very nice stayed!!

King suites great, quality low.

The bedrooms and en suites were very convenient. We loved having 4 king suites and the rooms for children as well. The location was great and convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and Disney parks. The condition of the home was poor overall. Dryer vent was disconnected upon arrival. Laundry room was HOT due to not venting. Mold present in most showers, window upstairs overlooking the pool appeared to have water damage. Safety alarm on back patio door had been removed. Carpets, kitchen cabinets, and pool inclosure all very worn and torn. Kitchen amenities and equipment was minimal. Made cooking for a family of 10 for a week difficult but not impossible. Overall the neighborhood felt secure and convenient to parks, however a little disappointed in upkeep and quality of the property.

Vacation rental

Good Location. The house is pretty and nice decor. House needs a deep cleaning. Carpet is dirty, stained and needs replacing. Only 1 washcloth in master bath. I didn’t check out the upstairs. My daughter said the trash can in her bathroom looked like someone had thrown up in it, it wasn’t cleaned out. Extra pillows in master closet, but no pillowcases. The pillows were covered in dust. Bring your own dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, washing machine detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags. Master bedroom blind one of them broken. The 2 air conditioner units can not be turned below 73 degrees. No fans or ceiling fans so the upstairs got hot. Only 2 small lamps in master bedroom and it wasn’t much light. The house definitely needs some improvement. I would consider it again for the space and location if the owner would make some improvements.

The carpets were stained, we had to rewash sheets, couldn’t get pool on and warmed. All the games in garage were gone or didn’t work. Took two days to get a response.

Perfect size for our large family vacation

The home was perfect for the ten of us! Plenty of bathrooms so no fighting trying to get ready in the mornings. Comfortable beds. Carpets could use a good cleaning. Everyone enjoyed the tv in the rooms to be able to watch what they wanted.

Excellent property to enjoy Orlando

We loved our house and our family had so much fun in the pool. It was perfect. We saved a lot of time with the close proximity to WDW. The house was cleaned but the carpet was old and dirty. The only areas of improvement would be carpeting and adding some pots, baking sheets and cutting board. Otherwise excellent!

Spacious house /good location

The house had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Loved that most bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. Nice appliances in the kitchen. Good location-close to parks and close to 192 for restaurants. 30 minute wait to get through security gates and office was out of passes when we checked in so we had to wait in line every time we returned. The carpets were dirty. There was a dead lizard next to one of the nightstands. Bathroom windows were moldy. NO WORKING TV'S in any of the bedrooms. Property Manager stated they changed cable service the day before we checked in and TV's were not compatible. Disappointing that WE had to report it to THEM instead of them advising us before check-in. House was not properly supplied. Each bathroom had less than a half a roll of toilet paper. Less than a half a roll of paper towels, 1 garbage bag in the house and NO Dishsoap in the house. We rent from VRBO and most houses will have a reasonable "starter pack" available. This one did not. I would stay in this community again but not this specific home.

Family vacation/Anniversary celebration

Great experience, we really enjoyed ourselves we been coming to Emerald island resort for a few years now always enjoy ourselves!! This is the first time we came in October we usually do summer vacations but I think we love the fall better!! My only opinion for the house need more patio furniture 1table with 4 chairs is not enough to accommodate a house that big we was celebrating our 32ND anniversary and had dinner on the patio and we didn’t have enough chairs but we worked it out !! Inside the House was big enough for my family -We will be booking again !! Thanks

My vacation

When I arrived at the house the cleaning company was still there cleaning upstairs. There was a pile of towels at the door and a million flies. Patio lights and front porch lights didn't work. Hot tub only worked the last day of my trip, and I was told over and over to call a number that no one answered. Patio/house furniture was old and worn. Not the best house I have rented but I have heard worse over this past weekend. Not, worth what I paid, but lesson learned...never again

Family trip to Disney in FL

This house needs lots of cleaning from inside. Carpets were really dirty in the whole house. Furniture in all the bedrooms had lots of dust on it. Other than that we had a great time staying at the property.
