Welcome to Dragonfly Breeze, a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom elevated private pool home located in Holmes Beach, just a short walk to the sugary white sands and clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Open the front door, step into the open floor plan and let your vacation begin.

The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, cable television in all the bedrooms and complimentary high-speed wireless internet are available for your entertainment.

The first bedroom provides a king size bed, a queen size bed is in the second bedroom and two twin size beds in the third bedroom. There is plenty of sleeping space for family and friends. Unwind in the large jetted tub of the master bathroom or enjoy stand-alone showers in the master as well as the second bathroom.

After a day at the beach, create culinary delights in the spacious, well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances or enjoy outdoor grilling while relaxing in the private pool surrounded by tropical landscaping. An elevator within the property is available for your convenience.

In addition, shopping, restaurants and the free AMI trolley service are within walking distance of Dragonfly Breeze. The home provides covered parking for 2 vehicles and comes fully stocked with linens, bath towels and beach towels. Also provided are beach chairs, a beach cart and a beach umbrella!

Wir (4 Erw. + 1 Kleinkind) hatten wunderschöne Zeit auf Anna Maria Island; das ausgewählte Haus wurde zu 100% wie inseriert vorgefunden; weil etwas früher angekommen, durften wir nach kurzem Telefonat sogar schon früher ins Haus, prima! alles tip-top und stilvoll eingerichtet; Küche gut ausgerüstet mit allem, was man so braucht; Pool war sauber und Technik hat funktioniert; zweiflammiger Gasgrill stand ebenfalls zur Verfügung; Lage direct am Gulf Dr. kann nachts schon mal bisserl lauter sein (wegen Verkehr); 5 Gehminuten zum wunderschönen, schneeweißen Strand; Strandstühle und kleine Schirme waren im Haus; Gerne kommen wir wieder ins Dragonfly Breeze zurück!

Enjoyable Stay
We had a great stay near Holmes beach. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen stocked with what we needed. The pool and grill were perfect for a dinner at home. The beach was a short walk to the end of the street. The grocery store and restaurants were nearby. We enjoyed our stay on Anna Maria.

Nice home
House was clean, it was plenty big enough for a family of 4. Bathrooms were a little dated, hot tub was non functional, but it was in the 90s and didn’t bother us. Bed mattresses were super firm (uncomfortable). Didn’t like the fact that thermostat wouldn’t go below 72 (by programming)but all in all it fit our needs. Also took about 10 minutes to stroll to the beach area, and gulf drive is very very busy and noisy.

Clean home, close to beach!
Very clean and very well equipped home with a great outdoor/pool area! There are pros and a cons to location… pros are that it is a couple block walk to the beach access, easy walk to restaurants and shopping, trolley stop right at the end of the road - cons are that it is the first house off of the main road. We were not expecting too much traffic seeing as it is an island and there is a noise ordinance for 10pm, but you really can hear every car that goes by at night… didn’t prevent us from sleeping or anything, but just more of an annoyance. The bathrooms and kitchen could use an update but that’s just appearances- everything worked beautifully! A note for the owners, it would have been convenient to be able to get into outside door downstairs :) We had a great stay despite the very minor drawbacks!! Thanks so much!

Holmes Beach House
We generally had a wonderful time. The VRBO definitely met our expectations. Beautifully decorated and very clean. A couple of things but not anything to make or break our holiday. The tv's were a little of a challenge but we eventually got them working. Livingroom one very slow. Limited stations. The house was close to Gulf Drive so sometimes it was noisy, however we would still go back there without hesitation.

Great rental property!
Great place to stay on Anna Maria Island. The house was very accommodating. A very short walk down the road to the beach access, which was in a spot where the beach wasn’t super crowded. Loved having access to beach chairs, blanket, toys, and a cart to tote it all to the beach. Liked how beach towels were also provided in the house, as that was one less thing we had to pack. The pool was great. After a long day in the sun at the beach, it was nice to come back to a shaded pool to swim in. All in all a great rental. The only negative was the noise from the main road the house sits on. We were awaken by sirens of emergency vehicles going past several mornings. With that being said, we would definitely return to the Dragon Fly Breeze!

The check in process was very easy. The house was spotless and perfectly located. My only complaint is when checking out you’re required to do a thorough cleaning of the house, including washing all the towels and dishes, taking out all the garbage. Then why are you charging us hundreds of dollars for cleaning fees?

Great location and very clean!
We loved how clean and open the floor plan was. The location was very close to everything fun and a short walk to the beach. Having the beach toys and wagon helped a lot! Beautiful home.

This is a beautiful home and the pool was perfect. Its a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The elevator was a fantastic bonus and made getting luggage and groceries upstairs super easy. We really appreciated the beach cart, chairs, sand and pool toys. House was clean and in a great location. We went in March and had sun at the pool from 11:30AM to about 2:30PM. Then we would make the roughly 0.25 mile walk to the beach. There was plenty of walk-able shops and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival check in and Wi-Fi didn’t work, emailed and left voice mail no response had to call the next morning. The gentleman did come within the time frame he said. The place is very outdated with the furniture being very old, we all left with backaches. The beds, thank goodness were comfortable. One of the bedrooms is technically NOT a bedroom, no closet and connected with pocket door to master. Master bath sink has rust and shower is not a full shower, doors are not able to fully open like normal doors and the seat is way to big, very awkward. There was originally only one bath mat for two bathrooms, neither with rubber resistance on the bottom. The gentleman did bring another before the end of Monday along with 2 beach towels, as there were only 4. In the kitchen it was very spacious and pretty well stocked, could use a new sharpening rod to sharpen knives. The refrigerator had a lot of black mold in ice dispenser and the refrigerator water dispenser had white things floating in the water, reminded me of dried milk coming off a milk jug. I was told this is just what happens at the beach. When water goes through a filter these pieces shouldn’t be coming out, my daughter lived at the beach and never had this. Advertised as heated pool but as the guest you couldn’t set the temperature that was comfortable for you, under a lock box. Pool was nicely shaded and private, six chairs and picnic table with umbrella were there, which was very nice. The new deck and stairs were very nice but both front and backstairs to back were extremely dark, thank goodness someone always had a phone to shine on steps, Solar lights would help going up and down. One thing that should have been disclosed is that the house is on the main road and traffic is heavy and noisy. It was loud sitting on the deck as well as in the house. Sitting in living room, it’s so loud it sounds like the windows were open and they were not.

Great house near the beach!
Great stay for 2 weeks at Dragonfly Breeze! We rented a golf cart but could also get to many restaurants and stores by walking. Beautiful beach was just a short walk a couple blocks away. Beach cart, chairs, and floats were provided. Pool at the house was nice to use while we were not at the beach. Mosquitoes were bad in July so bring bug spray! There was a narrow spiral staircase to go out back to the pool so not great for a lot of back and forth to the backyard if you have small kids but could also use elevator or front porch steps instead. Property manager was great when we had an issue with the air conditioning and running toilet, was fixed right away. Would stay again!

Had a wonderful first experience at AMI. The house was in a perfect location. The bus stop for the free trolley was on top of the street and the beach access was down the street. We loved the trolley bc there was not much parking available. DO NOT try to get a Uber/Lyft on the island! They will cancel on you especially from and to the airport! They do not come to island! Having a washer was great. There was plenty of utensils, pots and pans to cook at home. We got our first set of groceries by getting them delivered by Publix which worked out bc we didn't get a golf cart this stay. If you want to get an electric golf cart there is an outlet outside to charge it. Overall pleasant stay. Thank you!

Great location!
We loved the location of this home, just 2 blocks to the beach. The beach area access at the end of the street was quiet & not too busy. The home itself was nice. We enjoyed the pool area a lot, and utilized the Weber grill. The interior of the home is nicely decorated & well-stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, and anything you might need to cook. Our only complaint was that the bathrooms are very dated and in need of some repairs & upkeep. The caulk was cracking & mildewy in areas, and the sink enamel was coming off and rusted. I'm pretty sure other than cleaning, they haven't been touched since 1990. That said, we would definitely stay here again regardless. Overall we really enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back.
