Lake Cabin Gem

We had a lovely stay at Blue Hydrangea - the lake cabin had a gorgeous view and was clean, cozy and had every amenity we needed. The covered porch was incredible with lots of comfortable seating and truly felt like an extension of the room. The marionberry pie and wine and chocolate made us feel so welcomed and was perfect for celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Thank you so much for having us - we will be back again for sure!

Retired couple stayed 60 days.

We were generally pleased with few exceptions. Our hosts were excellent, but the suite is only half as big as advertised. I measured to the inside of walls. I did not include the deck or the closet which is off limits to the guests. The bathroom is not a seperate room. Thissite does not permit me to explain.

Relaxing Getaway

Looking for a local getaway from the city to celebrate my wife's birthday, I found this surprisingly available gem of a place overlooking Storm Lake in Snohomish. The well-appointed one-room cabin with a sweet lake view from the covered porch is worth the price alone. Jesse, the host, was communicative and provided helpful directions to the cabin. Downtown Snohomish and the start of the Centennial Bike Trail are only a 15-minute drive from the property. We will be coming back with our kayaks and fishing gear.

My stay was incredibly peaceful and it’s a beautiful spot on a lake. There aren’t many houses around and it was so quiet - which made for a wonderful getaway. It was also close to the wedding I attended at Pretty Bird farm.

Anniversary getaway

Lovely 3 night stay in this cozy cabin overlooking Storm Lake. The rain and cool weather kept us out of the lake, but we got out for hikes to Lime Kiln and Adventurer Falls. Dinner at the Repp capped our anniversary weekend deliciously. Lots of reading and napping.

Perfect retreat

My friend and I just needed a quick getaway for a couple of days. Found this l'il gem close enough to head out after work but far enough away to feel like we really were getting away! Right on the lake, adorably decorated, perfect deck , serene , peppered by adorable turkey goobles.

Beautiful and serine environment

Very cute and rustic with the appropriate amount of modern amenities. The interior decorations were very well done. Waking up and drinking our coffee with the amazing view of the lake was magical. Mark & Denise

Lake view studio cabin

Difficult to find initially, and hard to negotiate the driveway with a larger vehicle. But it is a lovely setting by the lake and the unit is very thoughtfully decorated and supplied with lots of extra touches. Very inviting. The owner was very helpful with extra information. Good for those with pet allergies. It is about nine miles from the town of Snohomish, so keep that in mind.

Storm Lake for Spartan Race

A very pleasant stay, just a few feet from Storm Lake. We were overly pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend. A small kitchen provided the essentials and the shower/bathroom (albeit it could use more privacy) were all apart of the separated room. No complaints with our stay. Cheers!

Back for more!

This was my 2nd summer stay at The Blue Hydrangea and it was just as lovely as last year! I booked a week and my friend came up from Vancouver for a couple of nights, the extra cot in the closet was handy. My 2 nieces came up for a swim and BBQ day trip - good times! The remaining days I just relaxed, took in the views and had starry bon fires at night by the lake. The only thing I would mention is that the private dock area could use some shade for the sun during the day- to remedy I drove to Big 5 in Monroe and bought a portable beach umbrella that screws into the ground and that did the trick. Also a rope ladder or the like would really help to get back onto the dock after a swim. There were a ton of mosquitoes at dusk I think because of standing water in the 2 small boats that were docked on the shore; other than that it's vacation perfection, I still plan to stay annually as much as my funds will allow. Thanks again Jesse and Joy for the awesome hospitality and all the snacks you left for us to enjoy!! 💗

Small but cozy

A little tinier than we had envisioned but we booked in a hurry and didn't read the description well. Comfortable for two adults, nice quiet neighborhood and property owners are very respectfully quiet while you're there. You also get access to a beautiful lake. Comfortable driving distance to town and to a lot of hiking trails in the area.

Nice location on a quiet lake away from big city. Not the whole house. One room which was fine for couple. No additional bed options if you bring a kid. Kitchen very small as is the bathroom. Was no wifi.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful Cabin with views from the verandah across Storm lake. The cabin was warm and cozy, in spite of the snow outside. The hosts were very thoughtful with a welcome basket and cherry pie awaiting us on arrival.
