Dirty and not well-maintained

The location is beautiful but the cabin was dirty - I sent photos of the dirty sink, towels, dining table, mugs, silverware, etc. I was told someone would come to clean but no one ever showed up. The humidifier filters were filthy. No garage parking. Management company apologized but did nothing. And I was charged for “cleaning fee” when the place was filthy.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was a great escape from the summer heat of Salt Lake City. Very quiet and nice to sit on the back porch with a view of the meadow.

Miss representation of cabin & Cleanliness debacle

The cabin was not what was described on site. I disregarded other reviews about this because i thought it was an owner locked area that could be unlocked. It turned out that a room and a kitchenette did not exist. My husband and I had to sleep in our van so all our family could fit. The majority of the dishes in the cupboard and draws were durty. They had food on them and they were greasy to the touch. The soap to hand wash the dishes was very low quality, luckly we had our own cleaning supplies to wash the dishes. We texted the property manger with the issue. The person that can the following day didn't have clear instructions about what we needed. They brought more bad dish soap. I had clearly asked for dishwasher soap because the cabin had non available. The family was constantly asking if if this or that was clean in the kitchen. The rule of thumb we used was wash anything before you use it. It was so disappointing to be burdened by this cumbersome delema. Every meal was overshadowed by this. The meadow was beautiful but the misquotes were no fun!

The perfect mountain Getaway!

This place was perfect for our family of 4. It was SO close to the ski resort- had plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. It had everything we needed to make family meals at the house and feel right at home! We would definitely book this place again. Also shout out to the snow plows - they kept the roads and driveway maintained during our entire stay and there was tons of snow each night!

Spring break

The cabin and neighborhood was great. Perfect for a small family. Everything was as described and we enjoyed the prairie setting where our 11 year old could play in the snow and run around after a day on the mountain. Very enjoyable spring break.

Great location

Everything was great and as-described. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. Slopes are minutes away. Only problem was that no snow-shovel was provided and we got a surprise storm.

Family Time Vacation Rentals specializes in managing privately owned cabins-homes, lodges and condos. We are hands on and live where are properties are located. My wife and I started our business in 2008 after deciding we wanted to give our children the simpler life of living in the country.

Our business is built on the concept of providing comfortable lodging to families and individuals who want to feel the comforts of home while away on vacation. With over seven years of experience in the nightly rental business, we consistently work to provide top quality properties at affordable rates. A large percentage of our guests who visit the area and stay with us become repeat customers because they had a great time and have said the accommodations and beautiful landscape of where their vacation home was located were exceptional.
