About this property

Casa Alegria is a two bedroom home nestled in the South part of town near hidden beaches, yet only an 10 minute walk (no hills) to Sayulita Plaza and the Beach. Perfectly situated so everything is walkable but far enough away from the late night sounds of town.

The Casa is decorated in a hacienda style and offers an open floor plan with high ceilings. Alegria also has two balconies and a back yard garden patio. The living room has a large sectional sofa to cuddle up on and watch Netflix when you are not at the beach or touring around town. The main bathroom boasts a beautiful walk-in stone shower and the master bathroom has a large soaking tub that is just heaven after a long beach day. The bedrooms are equipped with AC, plenty of closet space, and unlike the rock-hard beds found throughout Mexico, these memory foam mattresses are a dream to sleep on.

Casa Alegria comes with free WiFi, a full kitchen, AC in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout, 100% cotton sheets, quilts and towels, TV with Netflix, Logitech speaker dock, bottled drinking water, kitchen supplies and many other touches to make your stay enjoyable. There is also a gas grill on the back balcony in case you want to grill up your catch of the day. We also provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella.

We have also implemented new booking and cleaning policies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Ask us for the full policy.

Just like home!

A wonderful Mexican casa, comfortable & relaxing ... just like home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great kitchen with exceptional appliances. The bed in the Master bedroom was very comfortable. Having a bath tub in the Master bath was a pleasure ... very rare to find in Mexico. It was so nice & relaxing to have a bath every night. Also, providing us with body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and all the drinking water was a nice touch. It was nice not to have to worry about finding where to buy those kind of things. The living room furniture was comfortable. It was great having Netflix. However, it would have been nice to have some music as well. Leah and Ali, you have a wonderful home. We enjoy traveling, spending time in nature, cooking delicious and healthy food, yoga and meditation, hiking, swimming, and having drinks with friends. Why they chose this property

Playa de Los Muertos (Beach of the Dead which is named for the beautiful cemetery it is located next to) is a short 15 minute walk. This beach has minimal vendors, plenty of shade and gentle waves. A lifeguard is on duty most of the time and the roped off swimming area gives you a chance to play in the waves and float around in the water safely. Unlike the North side of Sayulita which has rip currents and is near the water treatment plant, the South side is the more clean and pristine Mexico experience you crave. And in just a 20-25 minute walk from Casa Alegria is Playas Carricitos and Patzcuarito. While caution should be used when swimming or bodysurfing these beaches, the beauty and remoteness is highly desirable for meditation, yoga, or reading a good book.
