Fabulous place
We loved our stay at White Sands Cottages!! It was a beautiful place with lots of room to relax and enjoy. Listening to the waves and watching the boats come in and out of Blue Lagoon was also a pleasure. There were several restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance which was also a bonus. Sophie was an amazing, accommodating, and responsive host. Would stay again.

Phenomenal views!!!
Sophie is an amazing host! Very friendly and super attentive to any needs. We stayed at the Ratho Mill Cottage. Very spacious, clean and from every angle of the house you see the amazing view! It’s so beautiful you don’t want to leave but of course you have to explore the beautiful island as well! Definitely coming back here! Thanks again for everything Sophie! :)

270 degrees of a breathtaking view
Refreshing breezes on the covered deck which literally sits over the water on three sides. On one side a small beach & views to Fort Duvernette Rock and Young isl., on other the Blue Lagoon, Canash Beach and the Marina with boats in and out. The cottage has a comfortable sitting area and a modern kitchen with everything you may need. We only used he master bedroom, but both rooms have comfortable large beds and quality linen. Both also have large modern walk in showers with plenty of hot water. In this location you probably need a car (driving in St. Vincent is not for the feint hearted), or you could use local taxis. A few restaurants at the Marina in walking distance & a nice outdoor bar with decks to watch the magnificent sunsets. We enjoyed watching the birds, Frigate, Tern & Egrets from the deck. Sophie the Manager was a joy to work with.

Paradise!
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in St Vincent. The house itself sits literally above the water and you can hear the waves crashing in your sleep. It resides within a small cluster of 5-6 “cottages” where I assume more permanent residents live as there are a few very friendly, but well behaved, dogs live. Each time we walked to the marina one joined us on the walk and when we came back she was sitting their to greet us. You don’t need a car necessarily but your options will be limited to about three restaurants if you are planning to walk. Sophie, the owner, was very responsive and arranged for pick up and return to the airport and all went smoothly. Photos were representative of the unit and it was very clean.

Fabulously spacious cottage with breath-taking views!
Upon arrival we were immediately wowwed by the view and completely charmed with our cottage. Loved the wrap around porch and decking down to the waterfront. After a long trip from JFK our party of 4 was grateful to have finally arrived at this tucked away little slice of heaven. This spacious dock cottage was well appointed with nice quality furnishings, very comfortable beds with quality linens and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Our hosts, Sophie and Guy, were terrific! They arranged transport from the airport and connected us with a driver to use for the majority of our visit. Our driver, Ivan, was a true pleasure acting as our guide and guardian to aid us in exploring the Island. Our favorite restaurant was on Young Island. We also enjoyed Mangos. We are very grateful to our hosts for sharing their beautiful accommodations. One recommendation... considering renaming to “Turquoise Cottages” to tie the color of the cottages with the tranquil beauty of the surrounding turqoise waters. Just a thought! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We loved this villa
I can't say enough about how sweet this place is. It had a lovely deck with a pleasant cool breeze off the water and beach/mountain views. Our teenagers jumped off the dock for swimming, and I snorkeled off of the tiny beach area next to the house; it is five-minutes drive from Villa Beach and Young Island, which has great snorkeling. There was NO Sargasso seaweed in the crystal-clear bay or any of the leeward beaches in St. Vincent. The house is directly on the water, in a very private and safe group of cottages surrounded by lush foliage and brilliantly-colored flowers. The well-behaved dog who lives on the property was also great company (he never begs). The home itself has two large bedrooms and two large, modern, high-end bathrooms with excellent hot water and water pressure. The kitchen was also excellent: Granite counters; Miele oven; fully equipped with utensils, etc. (bring your own food and most condiments). Air conditioners in the bedrooms worked perfectly. The breeze mostly cooled off the whole house anyway; but we closed it up at night because only a few of the windows are screened. The WiFi was perfect. The managers, Sophie and Guy were lovely and easily reached via WhatsApp while in St. Vincent (and immediately replaced a coffee maker that broke). My suggestion is, if you're planning on experiencing the natural beauty of St. Vincent, take a speed boat tour with Guy on the Leeward side because the roads are too hairy to cover as much ground as one might like by driving to each of St. Vincent's sites. The house was in a good location to do that and to head in the opposite direction for a volcano hike. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to tourists and those in St. Vincent on business. We have rented dozens of villas in the past and were very comfortable in this one.
