This fun 2 bedroom apartment has a bright and airy north east aspect with ocean views from the living areas, balcony and main bedroom. Situated on a quiet street within a security building with lift, only 1km from town centre and only 400m to Town Beach, local restaurants, coffee shops and Port City Bowling Club.

Living areas are bright and airy, with awesome views and decorated with a mix of funky, comfy and functional furnishings and bits and pieces to make this apartment a fun place to come home to during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with quality glass, table and flatware, plenty of cooking utensils, Expressi machine, dishwasher, appliances and basic pantry items. Internal laundry with washer and dryer, BBQ, free WiFi, single lock-up garage and all linen and towels are supplied.

The property was well located in relation to Town Beach and Port City bowling club and has excellent views to the east. While it was well stocked with the essential kitchen requirements and furniture to make it comfortable, the unit was starting to show its age. Heating was provided but there was no air conditioning which, if installed, may be a more economical solution to both heating and cooling.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several properties in Port Macquarie and we found this property very disappointing. The week vacation was cut short due to the condition of our accommodation. There was an unusual odour in the premises, no screens on the sliding doors/windows to open and air out the property, the bathroom was in disarray needing repairs and a freshening up, the bbq on the verandah rusted and disgusting. The building elevator broke down which it made it difficult for us using the stairs to access the apartment on level 6 as an older couple. We will not recommend the property to anyone. The property should be taken off the listings for holiday rentals.

Great location and fantastic views.Perhaps next time before the agent takes my money they first mention the elevator was not working and that I would need to climb up 6 flights of stairs. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location. Unfortunately the plumbing was bad. Had to have a bucket under the bathroom basin for leaking pipe. (reported but no action taken)Were advised the bath was out of action. Kitchen cupboards very dated felt homemade.

Ok place, needs some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was in a good location with nice views, however needs some serious TLC and a good bond clean. Arrived to fingerprints all over the appliances, splatters on the walls, dirty cutlery, carpet pulling up near the kichen which was a serious trip hazard, and heaters that barely worked. When we arrived at the shop to pick up the keys we asked what floor we were on / how big the building was, and were told the building was 25 floors and that we were on level 21 (its only 8 floors and we were on level 6). They also told us that we could drop the key off inside between X and Y hours, however seemed to forget that they are closed on weekends so we had to use the deposit box instead. The hallway also had a huge hole in the wall leading to exposed pipework.

Happy stay

Very well set up, only real disappointment was DVD player didn't work and master bed wasn't to comfy.. otherwise everything was catered for and thought of!. Worked out a little expensive for just a couple would be more beneficial for a family.
