This was a great camp and our family had a great little getaway. We saw turtles, loons, water snakes, and so many birds. The only negative thing I would say is the water was pretty mucky with vegetation, but once you get past that, the swimming was great. Thanks for a great stay!
Beautiful location and clean, well equipped house. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to a wedding we attended. Thanks for the hospitality!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lake house. Well appointed and clean. The location is ideal, secluded and right on the lake. Really enjoyed fishing from the pier and use of the kayaks and canoe. Appreciate the use of the gas grill. Smores at the firepit was a nightly event.
Renting a lake house, over booking a hotel, is definitely the way to go. We were just 40 minutes from Orono. The property is beautiful. The house has everything you could need. The owners responed very quickly from the beginning of the process, and throughout the time we had our stay. The layout of the house is very open, and well furnished. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a peaceful Maine adventure.
Our dogs love the yard and lake. Thank you for being pet friendly. The house was wonderful and well stocked. It was clean and comfortable. The yard had a wonderful firepit and hammocks. Close to many interesting places to visit. Hosts are amazing. Can't go wrong here.

Place was a great little peaceful home away for us and my in laws. We enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. The hosts were wonderful and timely answered every question.
Very enjoyable stay! House was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed and more. Setting was peaceful and the lake was lovely. The toys and puzzles were a huge help with our 3 y.o. on the rainy days we had. We also had a teenager, and folks in their 40s & 70s, and all ages had a great time. House accommodated 6 quite comfortably with plenty of space for lounging, dining, etc. Being able to bring our dogs along was also a huge plus. Communication with hosts was prompt and friendly. I would happily go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property.
The house is well stocked and the property is well maintained. The owners are friendly and are available to answer any questions. There is plenty to do and plenty of space to do it. We hope to be back year after year.
Greg was very communicative and had answers for all of our kid based questions! The house has a nice little sandy beach perfect for kids, canoe and kayaks and a paddle boat, and a nice island worth exploring and swimming near. The house is clean and had more than enough space for 6 of us to enjoy. Thank you for a relaxing stay!
It was a very nice location and very private. Lots of items included such as towels, coffee and spices for instance. Some of the dishes were not clean, but I think this is not a reflection on the hosts. Also small pieces of trash on the property such as pieces of wrappers and fireworks left overs in the water. I tried to clean it and then found it was just too much as it probably needs to be raked out. Great fishing. We lost power during our stay because of a thunderstorm. I call the hosts and left message. They may have not received my call as I did not have much cell reception though others in our party were fine. No call back from them and the power was restored in 2 hours. They had a very large flashlight with multiple batteries which worked great! Would stay there again, definitely!!!! Beautiful property and home, exactly as advertised!
The picture do not do this home justice. I was expecting a nice lake house, and it was MUCH better than I even expected. Really beautiful place and the lake is gorgeous. Plenty of yard to play around in. Nice big fire pit. The 2 hammocks were a dream.!
Enjoyed kayaking, relaxing on the porch and in the hammocks, and watching the wildlife. We even saw a Chukar, which is rarely seen in the US, in addition to seeing beavers, loons, a family of ducks, and nesting woodpeckers in a nearby tree. The house was clean and had everything you could imagine needing or wanting. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer family vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Very nice getaway. Our family had a great time. Kitchen set up with numerous spices, condiments, and plates etc. loved the interior of the cabin with hardwood floors and screened porch.
View was extraordinary and the fire pit was a great place to just sit and relax.
