Picturesque 1 bedroom cottage set in the premium wine region of the Adelaide Hills. Located within an easy 5 minute drive of the historic town of Hahndorf and the famous Adelaide Hills wineries like Shaw & Smith, Nepenthe etc. The idyllic weekender for that relaxing break from busy city life.
Cosy bedroom with Queen size bed and small lounge area, separate kitchen and bathroom. Continental breakfast provided. All linen, tea, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker facilities provided. NOTE: Please watch out for kangaroos along the road and driveway of the property

Perfect for our stay
We loved staying at the Winemakers Hut - perfect for our needs as we were in the Hills for a wedding and knew that we would not be there much. Very comfortable though with everything we needed for our stay.

The location is so central yet so quiet and peaceful set amongst lovely garden and lawns down a long driveway. The property itself is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Could not fault, loved our stay. Thank you

Wonderfully thought out cottage, compact but with everything you need, and orderly with it. Aesthetically pleasing as well, and set in manicured lawn and tree gardens. Wineries excellent food nearby, so what’s not to love?

Beautiful hut situation in the heart of Adelaide hills within a short walk to Shaw & Smith, and Nepenthe wineries, amongst others. Highly recommend for a couples retreat.

Beautiful Winemakers Hut
A beautiful stay at the Winemakers Hut, set on a beautiful location in the Adelaide Hills a stone throw away from 3 wineries, historic Handorf, cafes and restaurants. Mary-Anne and Chris are the consummate hosts,friendly,professional and very hospitable. The property is a credit to them both with beautiful landscape gardens.

Perfect little spot
We stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer. Not only was the place cute and warm but the location and landscape was perfect. We appreciated the little touches to make our stay even better - a ready to light fire and breakfast included.

Amazing long weekend
We had three nights at the hut and very relaxing. Beautiful property and great location. Very clean and everything you need, the outdoor fire is a bonus and perfect for the late afternoon.

Great Spot
Highly recommend this spot as a to do spot. Great for the weekend away if you’re local to Adelaide, and great if you’re interstate. Everything is close by, right next to Hahndorf. In the middle of all the popular wineries and vineyards in the Adelaide Hills so perfect spot if you’re looking to do that. Mary-Anne and Chris (the hosts) are both great people and will make sure your stay is peaceful and enjoyable.

Hidden Gem in the Hills
Winemakers Hut is a little hidden gem! Only a few minutes from Hahndorf on a beautiful property in the Hills. The Hut was beautifully furnished, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast and condiments were a great little surprise for our breakfast each morning. Maryanne and Chris were such lovely hosts. We would definitely recommend and stay again if we visited again in the future.

Ideal Getaway to the Adelaide Hills
Beautiful self contained little cottage in the countryside yet still only a short drive to Handorf, beautiful wineries or many other things to do and see. Our hosts were very friendly and close by to help if we needed anything. Perfect getaway for us.

Awesome mid point stop
What a beautiful intimate cabin. Perfect stop point for us midway through our journey from Perth to Tasmania. We relaxed and caught our breath. Thank you for the wonderful treats waiting for us.

Exactly what you need for a weekend getaway to the Hills. Maryanne was a fantastic host. The fire was an added bonus, remember to bring marshmellows. Simon Tolley was the pick of the wineries we visited. The location of the hut was excellent, highly recommend.

Weekend Retreat
We absolutely loved our retreat to the Winemakers Hut. It was perfect for the two of us to chill out in after spending our days exploring the Adelaide Hills (esp Hahndorf). The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. I definitely recommend this property, and hope to return myself.

Great little place
What a lovely cozy, clean and well appointed place in a great location close to some great wineries. We had a very enjoyable couple of days and even made time to read a book outside by the lovely combustion heater, it was perfect.
