Perfect location!

Perfect location for just a few people or quite a few people! We loved the sauna, and appreciated the well stocked kitchen.

We loved this house for our group of 15

It was perfect for our family. The first time that I stayed in government camp and had a nice sleep, the mattresses were very comfy, and the host was very friendly and able to help when we needed her one time. Overall, we would book this house again in the future.

Nice and clean, need a little upgrades

Comfortable and clean, have additional parking spaces on a street. But there are some minor drawbacks. It would be convenient to make shelves for shoes and hooks on the wall for jackets at the entrance, there is absolutely nowhere to hang jackets and snowpants. Not all bedrooms have the opportunity to hang clothes, in one bedroom there is a hanger right above the bed, which is not comfortable when you are sleeping. In the bathrooms no shelves and wall hooks, shampoo/soap its on a shower floor, and all my clothes and towel i keep on the toilet lid. There are not enough spoons for 14 guests, and only two pans, one very small and the other very large. Was nice to have sauna and smart TV.

Family Christmas

Very impressed with the location and the size of the unit. We even had a couple empty beds! My entire family was there celebrating our after Christmas family weekend! The weather was beautiful and we had an awesome time! I really appreciate the ease of check in and check out.

Great mountain getaway

We always love coming to stay here. It’s comfortable and has everything we need to feel the comforts of home. There are lots of beds that are comfortable which is a must for me! We enjoy the wood stove and always prepare by buying our own wood before we come, although you can usually buy it at the store in town, its cheaper to bring your own. If you have any dietary restrictions I recommend bringing your own food as the local store does not offer much of anything that is gluten free, dairy free etc. This cabin is so close to sledding, which is what we go for. We had such a wonderful time! There’s lakes, hiking and of course skiing and snowboarding. During the summer when we stayed last time we went to ski bowl for their summer adventure park, which I highly recommended, we had such a fun time with our kids but it would also be a great time just for adults. Go to ratskeller restaurant when you book your stay at this cabin, for the best wings ever! We love staying here and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We look forward to coming back!

big family mountain trip

Great location. We rented the 1st and 2nd floors. 12 adults and 8 kids plus an 18 month old and a dog. The living area was small, but we did a little re-arranging and it all worked out. Dishwasher was hard to open, I think the handle is broken. Nice big fridge. Really flat pillows-be sure to bring your own. Plenty of towels and blankets. Main floor shower never got hot enough so we all took turns showering downstairs. Beds were not very comfortable. We all had a great time though. It was great having a sledding hill right outside the house!

Pretty Good Condo with Some Flaws

If you have a large number of people this house is great for sleeping all of them in it's 5 bedrooms. The drawbacks of this house is that the living area, kitchen and eating areas are all too small for the number of people that you can sleep in the house. Also, to echo other reviews, the kitchen is poorly stocked with not enough plates, utensils and glasses for a larger group. Bring your own paper/plastic products. Also, no good mixing/serving bowls, no cheese grater and the only large burner on the stove was temperamental. Overall though this house is clean and a great place to be to access Ski Bowl, Timberline & Meadows. I would stay here again.

Little Trail Lodge - Unit A

We have been really disappointed by this lodge and believe that the rate is too high vs what you get: very old furniture and amenities, sometimes not working properly, not enough kitchen supplies for our group (there were 6 glasses while the maximum capacity is 18 people!), the coffee machine was broken, the main living room table is very small and all the bedrooms are also very small. The only good thing is its location, very central on the main street of Government Camp close to all the shops and Summit/SkiBowl ski resorts.

Govt. Camp - great place for a family to re-unite!

Lots of sleeping space - we moved tables around to get enough room for 11 of us to eat in proximity with one another. Cooking requires shifts - kitchen is small. Look deep in the cupboards for all kinds of supplies. Basic food staples are there. Govy store has everything else. It's great / we had a great time!

This home is the perfect choice for a group with a wide variety of interests. Great walking distance to fun food locations, idilic evening walks through the snow, and a lovely wood burning stove for playing games at home!

Nice place,great location.

The proximity is great, ample parking. Sauna downstairs, and if you forget to turn the air down on the wood stove, upstairs too. We were satisfied with our stay overall.

HTC Relay start accommodations

Great little spot in the cozy little area of Government Camp. Easy to get around and make our way up to the start line for the Hood to Coast relay.

Great for a big group!

This cabin has mostly everything you could hope for in a budget friendly cabin. The Internet signal is not great in the lower unit, and they need more dishes for large groups, we ended up borrowing from the upper unit. Everything else was wonderful, great location and plenty room for a large group. I would also recommend bringing your own movies, unless you would rather play games which they have a few fun ones. We would definitely return when the rates are good.

Do not stay here

This was by far the worst rental property we have used in Government Camp in over 10 years of staying in vacation rental homes. The rooms were very small and the furnishings were very worn out. The one common area was tiny for a property that sleeps 18. Also, if the house sleeps 18, it should have sufficient glasses (10), mugs (4), forks (9), bowls (4), and pots (4, one with only one handle) for that number of guests. The electric stove had only one large burner which was not functioning. Half of the outside garbage pails did not have lids. Most disturbing was the sight of a mouse in the evening in the common area. This rental property is in serious need of fixing and cleaning.
