The condo was was centrally located. We haven’t stayed in this area in many years. We usually stay in Cordillera. Two very dissimilar properties. However, we just came to stay a short time and thought a condo would be okay for that short stay.
Upon check in, we got to our room with all of our things and none of the keys would open the door. We called the front desk, and he brought us up replacement keys. As we were unpacking, we opened a bedside drawer and the previous guest had left their personal sexual lubrication in the drawer. This was appalling and disgusting. The bathtub in Bedroom #2 was extremely slow draining. During showers, the water never drained until much later after turning off shower. That was icky and extremely undesirable. (We have a photo.) Also, upon arrival to the condo, the toilet in Bedroom #2 had a mildew ring around the entire inside at the water line. That was nasty. (We have a photo.). Upon arrival, there was a Robin’s nest on the light fixture on the tiny balcony. The entire floor was covered with nesting materials and bird dropping. The bird was hatching and was flying back and forth. Every morning the birds started fussing around 5:00. (We have a photo.) Also, someone left their big dog unattended and it barked constantly one late afternoon for about an hour and a half. We finally called security to report it. Then about 10+ kids assembled underneath our windows to scream and play while we were trying to read and relax. The walls were so thin we could hear the people sneeze and cough. Also, they stomped and ran around the entire time. I still don’t know why people think they are the only ones staying in a building. No consideration. The unit was just loud with noise of every vehicle that went by.
Since we are in the height of a pandemic, we assumed our condo would be cleaned upon our arrival. We did not want anyone coming in while we were there. So, we did not enjoy the Kiva. We have no desire for a return stay.
