Log Cabin on the Canal of the Indian River between Burt Lake and Mullet Lake!
This beautiful cabin is rented with pride! Cabin is clean and updated with
new carpeting and new furniture on a private, peaceful street. Fully
furnished, two bedroom, one bathroom. Sleeps (6). Can sleep (8) with our
La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa. Appliances (including washer and dryer),
linens, kitchenware ... everything you need to make your vacation
comfortable and convenient. The cabin also has a new gas fireplace, an
attached deck with propane bbq grille, a community fire pit with wooden
swing, picnic table and chairs.
From the INCLUDED dock on the property, go one direction to access Mullet
Lake and the other direction to access Burt Lake! Also, there is a public
boat launch conveniently located just a few blocks away.
Enjoy the sandy bottom inland waterway lakes with over 10,000 acres of
enjoyable boating, swimming, tubing, and fishing. Nearby lakes and rivers
to swim, canoe, kayak or just sit by the shore and relax! Also near
several state parks and beaches.
Close to downtown Indian River, Cheboygan, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor
Springs, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island for all kinds of different
activities.

Why they chose this property
Sitting on the deck and listening to the trickling water, watching the kids look for tadpoles in the creek, watching the boats coasting by from a distance and wishing that this vacation will never end. That is what our cozy cabin is all about. Stocking up the coolers and jumping into your boat, which is just steps away from the cabin, and enjoying the day on the Inland Waterway. It doesn't get much better than this!
What makes this property unique
Cozy, cozy, cozy is what this cabin is all about. From sitting on the deck soaking up the sun, to snuggling up by the fireplace. Fun game night around the awesome "tree" table and sharing family memories. Bedtime means climbing into the log beds to the quiet of up-north solitude. Memories are made here that are sure to last a lifetime.
