You really should stay at this house
This is an extraordinarily beautiful house. The architect who designed it has optimised every view from every window, whether that be of ocean, sky or bush. The house is stylishly decorated, well-equipped and very comfortable, and we had a wonderful, wonderful time. The downsides were minor and they were an aggregate of the kind of things that happen when owners need to outsource the management of their properties. Linen is not automatically provided, including basics like hand towels. (This is a premium property, and that aspect alone makes it seem a bit more like someone’s beach shack.) Things had run out and not been replaced - hand soap in one bathroom, aluminium foil, kindling, no globe in a lamp, salt and pepper provided but no olive oil. The worst part for me is the email, and the notice on the fridge, which says you have to vacuum and sweep the entire house before leaving and drive all rubbish down to the communal bins. If a cleaner is coming in to do the bathrooms, why would you not pay them to do these things too so that you are not risking the cleanliness of the house on the standards of the last guest, and your guests are not expected to spend a large chunk of their special weekend away doing housework? (We agreed with the letting agent that we would not sweep and vacuum, for which we were very grateful, but the sign was still on the fridge.) These are minor flaws - the house is exquisite, the communication with the letting agent was very good, the instructions to find the house were both necessary and clear, we were given a late checkout without asking, and it was the perfect setting for our girls’ weekend away. We hope to return.

Lovely views and the house was comfortable except for a few issues
Ppty was lovely but definitely in need of maintenance. Blinds , doors and fly wire doors needing attention. There was also a loose plank on the verandah. Views were great.

Beautiful house in great location
Some issues initially but the property manager was readily available and everything was swiftly sorted to our satisfaction. Directions to the house would be helpful and could be included when collecting keys as the road is unmarked and hard to find. We had a lovely stay at the house and would definitely recommend. The views are stunning.

Lovely home, but needs a deep clean!
We stayed two nights and were comfortable. While the bathroom and kitchen were clean, I discovered that the cleaning service only cleans the wet areas. All exhaust fans had mats of dust on them, as did the ceiling fans, and we found and had to deal with numerous spiders of varying sizes. It's a bit in the bush, off the main road in the community, a short distance down a dirt road. It's also on tank water, with a bunch of warnings reminding you that it is on tank water. I think a deep clean for removing dust and critters, cobwebs, etc. would bring it back to a 5-star home.

Lovely house
A group of 6 of us stayed at the house for the weekend and it was great. We had lots of activities so we were barely at the house, but we wish we had more time to laze around on the gorgeous balcony with views. It is clearly someone's much loved holiday home, complete with full pantry and Tupperware. It was clean, modern and very comfy. I think perhaps a map with directions from the real estate would be handy, as it isn't on google maps and there are no street lights.
