Perfect for weekend beach getaway
Was perfect place and location for our yearly weekend trip to the beach with kids and our family member of the four-legged variety (before beaches become inaccessible to him over the summer!). Amongst the bush which I love about Airey's. Walking distance to the pub (although food disappointing here this time round), general store and Greek restuarant. An easy 10-15min drive to either Anglsea or Fairhaven beaches.

Cute cottage
Small but clean cottage in the bush. Easy walk to shops & cliff top walks. Deck for sitting out in good weather & fire to light in Winter.

Simple, clean, comfortable
A basic but comfortable beach shack ... on a lovely natural plot ... an easy walk to the general store... with a relaxing fireplace... (a little more firewood would be great though, since it’s the only heating).

Great Little Getaway
Perfect for what we wanted for a long weekend on the coast! However the listing on Stayz could include more information and details of the property.

Disappointing
Below expected standard at this price point. House states pet friendly but there is no fenced off garden and it backs onto great ocean road so busy and unsafe for dogs and young children. Maybe worsened due to Easter, but house isn’t a quite spot as per other reviews as there is a through road next to the house, so constant traffic. Double bed mattress was uncomfortable and felt springs. It is 10 minutes walk to the general store and cafe. The pub and beach is a further ten minutes walk, 5 mins in the car. Overall disappointing stay and wouldn’t stay again.

Peaceful solitude 5min from General Store.
Comfy beds, huge cooking range, potbelly and air conditioner plus electric heaters in the bedroom, and hot, hot water system. Lovely bush block for the dogs. Only disappointment was a surprise, the tv 📺 connection is dreadful dropping out a number of times visually and making dreadful clicking sounds throughout the news. The adapter doesn’t fit snug to the wall socket. Would certainly stay here again.
