Stunning beach house

This beautiful architect designed beach house is set amongst the trees that provide privacy and plenty of sunlight through many floor to ceiling windows. All living is on a second floor, in an open plan design with an extensive kitchen and marble island bench, which has all mod cons and provides a perfect cooking environment.

There is an open fire for when the weather turns cold so you can stay in and watch the clouds roll in. A very comfortable lounge with chaise and occasional chairs allow you to have that afternoon nap! In fact there is enough space and seating for six people to do the same.

There are three bedrooms each apart from the other, with lovely linen, ceiling fans and electric blankets to maximise a good night sleep.

Gardens are designed to create a beautiful bushland retreat around the house and provide extreme privacy. There is a balcony that has outdoor seating for 6 and a barbecue.

Laundry, an open pantry, pizza oven, coffee machine and bikes are also here. Many guests have commented that this place has everything you need and more.

A feature of our beach house is a large collection of cds, magazines and books. Remember when we didn’t have Netflix and you could spend your afternoon enjoying other pursuits? That’s what a weekend at this place offers - a chance to leave behind city life.

Walking from the house you will hit the Main Street in 8 minutes where there is coffee. And wine. Walk another 7 minutes and you are on the beach. This beach is visually stunning as per our photos. Or take a drive to Inverloch, Wilson’s Promontory, Meeniyan or nearby wineries. Lots to do and see for foodies if you like exploring.

Family catch up

A very relaxed and functional living space our family had lots of special meals around the spacious dining table. We were able to have our pets with us and they also enjoyed the dog friendly beaches we visited nearby. Inverloch is a short drive from Venus Bay and that has lots of shops and sight seeing opportunities we loved Eagle’s nest. The deck was a private area with lots of trees and wildlife. We would have appreciated an outdoor dog secure space near the rear door, I believe that would help future families with pet companions. 🐕

Tranquil, well appointed and welcoming

My partner, my parents and our 3 dogs enjoyed every minute of our stay. The accomodation has everything you would possibly need. Cleanliness was A1, which has not always been my experience with dog friendly accomodation. Beautifully styled with a great layout. Perfect place to relax.A short drive to other little country towns for a spot of shopping or lunch. Dont miss the beautiful coastline. Would definitely recommend. Hosts easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Wonderful family stay

Enjoyed a fantastic week away in Venus Bay over the school holidays. The house was great. Very comfortable and equiped with everything you need to cook and entertain. The house was also spottless on arrival. Our kids loved the selection of DVDs on offer. House is in a great location and we especially loved taking the dog for a walk in the evenings to see the kangaroos! Thanks, I am sure we will return

Venus Bay escape

Accommodation worked perfectly for us. Quiet location, set amongst the trees. A lovely deck where we ate most meals. Plenty of time spent at each of the VB beaches. Very comfortable space with all needs catered for. Thanks Lauren!

Warm, comfortable, everything supplied

We were very impressed with the design of the building and the thought put into privacy for all. The dream kitchen was so functional and we were warm and cosy with plenty of good wood for the wood burner. All beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and warm doonas. There was a multitude of large fluffy towels supplied. Thank you Lauren and Rick for the relaxing stay. Your folder covered any queries we had.

Weekend Getaway

A great house for a winter weekend away! Lots of big windows. great natural light, a wood fired heater and comfy beds. Plenty of DVD's, CD's and even vinyl. Being pet friendly was an added bonus for us and our cavoodle.

Short break

Everything about the property was as advertised, it was very well equipped, very clean in a quiet neighbourhood and the perfect location to unplug. Small set back for us personally, Venus Bay have no ‘unleash’ spots for doggies and there are lots of restrictions, so Inverloch had to heaven for our Cavoodle. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accommodation and location.

Great location for beach walks and star gazing

We had a fantastic stay at Laurens house, it was very clean, cosy and well kept. The added value of the log fire was a treat and the quite neighbourhood was so relaxing. Can’t wait for our next visit highly recommended.

Beautiful, inviting home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. We were two adults and one young child. He loved the space to run around and the drawer filled with kids books. After a long day at the beach, he loved picking a dvd to watch too. We also took our dog but there was no fenced outdoor area and we were nervous to leave him alone inside amongst the lovely furniture. He came along to our adventures instead. The house is walking distance to the general store and beach. And a 20-minute drive to Inverloch where the beaches were less surf beach and more kid friendly. The kitchen is filled with anything you can think of. We cooked breakfast each morning, baked a cake and made pizza in the pizza oven. Thanks for having us and sorry if we left too much sand behind…

fantastic

Great place to stay. Walking distance to Number 1 beach. Less than 10 mins. plenty of wildlife Wombats near the beach and Koalas across the road from the property. get to number 1 beach before 18.00 hours to see the stingrays feeding. Easy bike ride to Tarwin lower (my son and I took our Mountain Bikes) House was really clean and tidy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I am big into my music especially vinyl and the owners have a great selection of vinyl. And a beautiful retro 1960,s turntable. My wife and kids also loved this place 11 years and 15 years and my kids want to come back again as well. Its not boring plenty to do

Lovely light filled beach house in the trees.

This was a lovely place to stay. It felt so relaxing the minute you walked through the door. The house is full of light and feels private, despite being close to neighbouring houses, as it is higher up and surrounded by trees. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and homely stay. Lauren was a great host - replied promptly to emails and was very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Venus Bay many times and this is the best place we have stayed. We would like to stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Fabulous friends getaway

This house is perfect for a getaway with a couple of friends. Exceptionally clean, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, ample lounging space. Great to find 3 bedrooms all double beds and 2 bathrooms. Quiet, light & airy, beautifully decorated, and good location for exploring the region.

A very relaxing stay in Venus Bay

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren and Rick’s beautiful house. Lauren and Rick are fantastic and attentive hosts who go above and beyond to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. The house is gorgeous and you relax as soon as you walk in and feel surrounded by trees. The house is really well designed and very comfortable. The beds were very cosy. Lauren and Rick have pretty much everything you need in the home. This is the perfect place to relax in as there are heaps of books, cds, games and a light filled lounge area to keep you entertained. We absolutely loved staying here. We would love to come back again one day. Thanks Lauren and Rick

Super relaxing winter getaway

We loved this house for our 3 night winter holiday. The living area is great with heaps of light, bushy view, great fireplace, open kitchen, great big table for meals and games, comfy couch/chairs and a record player which we loved. Bedrooms/beds very comfortable too and 2 bathrooms/toilets was very handy for our family of 5.
