Beautiful Wooli

Once again we had an epic holiday in beautiful Wooli and we loved staying at Riverside. It has everything we need in the perfect location. We will be booking in again next year for our annual migration north.

Okay if you just want somewhere to sleep but felt rundown and in need a lot of tlc for the price.

Main bed comfortable, but aside from that it felt overpriced & dirty, from dishes to floors to taps. Inadequate heating for living/kitchen as the main fireplace is pad locked & out of order, also the most uncomfortable lounge room seating ever experienced. Great that the property allows pets as it also comes with its own possums or rats living in the roof and outdoor bins filled with flies/maggots. .

The house is in a lovely location between the beach and river. the house itself has a lot of character, nice big back yard and deck. Its a shame we couldn’t use the fireplace inside, the house was older and smaller then it looked in the photos but we still had a nice time staying there.

classic beachside shack

We enjoyed our stay in the lovely little beachside shack in a quiet and friendly town. The house had everything our small family needed to make the most of Wooli’s offerings - we loved the nautical theme, comfy beds and eating fresh oysters on the back deck overlooking the river. It’s is a good location halfway between the beach and river, near the Bowls club and cafe, and just a short drive to the pub. The house is in original condition so don’t expect perfection but it is all clean and in working order.

Beautiful Wooli

Wooli is a great little town and location was perfect for taking the kayak across the road to launch. House is getting a bit run down. Kitchen needs a thorough clean - some metal scouring pads would help get the fish grease and baked on muck off dishes from previous guest meals. TV not working, which seems a recurring issue given previous reviews.

Absolutely best stay Shame about not being able to use fireplace The advertised fire pit was rusty bits of metal with no wood or coal anywhere Shower could be better Overall the positives definitely outweighed the lack of heating

June long weekend

Property has charm and is a comfortable little house. We loved how we could walk our kayaks over the road and go fishing. Too easy! Very cold house in winter and I would presume hot in summer. Well equipped kitchen for your stay. Biggest negative for us would be the lounge was SO uncomfortable and water pressure wasnt great. Putting those things aside - we loved staying here. thanks

Great little spot with view of the River.

Lovely quaint beach house . Unassuming but with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Walk to skatepark, beach , river. Perfect spot to do a whole lot of nothing .

Lovely little house, super close to river (dragged our kayak over), stones throw from bowling club, coffee shop, skate park and a short drive to the best swimming spot. Stroll to beach but better swimming at the mouth. Very suitable comfortable little house, great location. Needs some minor maintenance done.

Our stay was very comfortable, house could have been cleaned better upon arrival and maybe windows opened to air out property before arrival. Could not fault location close to river, beach and bowling club. And it was great to be able to bring our dog, as there was ample yard which was fenced. We would stay there again.

The Wooli Wine Mixer 2020

This property has soul, we instantly felt at home, the veranda is just gorgeous, lounging and chilling as a family just talking and playing cards or sitting back and watching the world float by was simply magic and was basically all we did when we were not at the beach. Meal times was awesome, the house is super functional (perfection with fresh oysters every day from across the road) and being together as a family here was so relaxing, something we all needed, so much room and not feeling on top of each other. The bedrooms are super cute and the effort gone into the feeling of the house with the themed decor was a credit to the owners. I would recommend this gorgeous home for you getaway, whatever that may be, my family was well happy and we will visit again one day.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bit disappointing I'm afraid. TV didn't work. There was food and a dirty baking dish left in the oven by the last occupants. Gas stove top wouldn't light. Shame, because the property has the potential To be really good.
