In 2014 the yard went through a complete 3-year renovation to become a high-end luxury villa that was renamed Breakwater. The typical characteristics of the industrial boatyard have been preserved and, combined with the incredible architectural design and stunning interiors, Breakwater really is one of a kind on Lake Como.

The undoubtable character and luxury of the Villa emanates both inside and out, and once one has arrived it really is difficult to leave. With its enviable position right on the lake shore with beautifully finished decking and private boat dock, guests will cherish the luxury of exploring and moving around by boat. Once you have reached Breakwater one’s car can be closed safely in the garage and guests can switch off, relax and savour this magical destination.
With its phenomenal amount of space, even larger groups will still have the luxury of enjoying numerous many living and relaxation areas be it inside the villa itself or outside on one of the many decks, by the pool or beneath a gazebo with outstanding views across the lake and mountains.

On lake level the library, billiard, fitness, spa, living room, dining room, kitchen, sitting room/guest office, wine cellar and 1 bedroom. Outdoors on lake level you’ll enjoy the heated swimming pool, fire pit, boat dock, dining area, multiple sitting areas and a BBQ zone.
On the first floor you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 suite, the garage which accommodates up to 10 cars and an outdoor 240m² terrace with gazebo and sitting area providing a 180° view of stunning Lake Como.
On the second floor there are 2 suites, including the master suite with its 350m² terrace, several sitting areas and a BBQ zone.
