Has a cool flair with use of modern art and antiques. This is a great location in the middle of downtown Winooski, a vibrant little city with great restaurants and bars and coffee. There is a river walk that is around a mile long. Winooski is located only a few minutes from Burlington. There is a coin op laundry room in the building and there is dedicated parking as seen in the listing photos. The apartment is around 400 square feet is size.

Die Wohnung ist in einem zwielichtigen Wohnkomplex in dem man jedes Gespräch der Nachbarn und jeden Schritt hören kann. Man ekelt sich bereits beim Betreten: es ist nachweislich nicht geputzt. Fremde Haare kleben in der Dusche bzw im Bad - die Toilette ist dreckig, dass nichts in Stand gehalten wird sieht man spätestens an der Klobürste und am Ofen in der Küche, der vor eingebranntem Fett und Essensresten klebt. Das Bett ist ein Klappbett, auf dem man jede Feder spürt und das absolut durchgelegen ist. Dass der Host auf Bilder etc antwortet ist ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit, von vrbo erhält man keine Hilfe. Der Gastgeber kommt also ungehindert mit seiner Masche davon und verdient ein Haufen Geld (240€/2 Nächte). Wir haben die erste Nacht hinter uns gebracht und sind dann gefahren. Das Geld dafür werden wir nicht wieder sehen aber wir wollten uns sicher fühlen und wenigstens Basishygiene

Great Spot - Close to fun little town square
Came into Burlington to see Toad The Wet Sprocket and do some mountain biking. Decided to stay in Winooski because the price was right. Pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Clean little place very close to lots of pubs and restaurants. Would totally come back. Thanks.

Bathroom had a lot of mildew in the shower. The rest of the apartment was significantly dusty. Tough to pay a cleaning fee and not get a clean room.

Great kitchen, clean, good appliances. Some maintenance needed: replace burned out light bulb at outside entrance door. Increase the wattage of the bulb in the entry hallway so can see the numbers on the doors and the numeric locks. Replace the broken toilet paper roll holder. Bolt the toilet more securely to the floor as it should note move at all.

We booked this place as one of few places left in Burlington more than a year ago to view eclipse. So location was perfect. This is clearly a student level rental. Directions to place and codes/doors all worked fine. The kitchen had everything for us to make a picnic lunch on day of eclipse. The pull out couch had an old break in center so wasn’t comfortable to sleep in. The bed was ok, bathroom very small and difficult to navigate. What we paid was fair for this rental, just as long as you know what you’re getting. We were glad to get something within Burlington, so all good.

Apartment was very clean. Neighborhood was quiet considering there are several bars and/or restaurants nearby. Felt safe. Only complaint/suggestion we have is to cover the bathroom window. We used a trash bag so people or traffic on that side couldn’t see in. That isn’t a show stopper though. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked the wrong dates and tried to contact the property manager and to this day have not heard from them! This is not acceptable if you are running a business you need to be on top of things and communicate with your customers or at least have someone communicate for you. We wanted to try to change our dates but no one answered us so we had to make other arrangements at the last minute not happy at all.

This is the third time we stayed in this building. Twice in the same unit. We love the short walk to great places to eat and drink. I only have two small complaints. The hallway light is out and made the entry very dark. Without my phone flashlight I don’t know how we would have seen the key pad. The only other thing was that the bathroom waste basket was not emptied.

Not bad for price.
The property was not bad for the price, but the reviews were overrated. The place was very clean, appliances worked as expected, property provided ample parking and in a quiet neighborhood. The bathroom was extremely small and curb appeal could use some improvement. I'm guessing this place is rented as student housing for the neighboring colleges in the area.
