Great little get away

It was lovely to experience the friendly local birds, be able to experience a camp fire, play billiards and all in an easy walk to the town. Getting down to the river was a bit tricky from this home but it was a quiet and peaceful location to fish. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We had a great time we will be back with family. Huge space owner does a great job presetation wise. We had everything we needed. Burds come and eat out of your hand. Air con great. A positive relaxing space.

Serene tranquil location overlooking the river

Leah is a great host and goes out of her way to give her guests a great stay. Her well appointed home overlooks the river with great walking trails to explore,just across from the property. A highlight is the front veranda decking with sweeping views, and plays host to various bird life that enjoy popping in for a feed. Also a great place to enjoy a bbq/read, relax with a drink etc. A great place to chill out. Thankyou for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Majestic views and friendly locals

Though only a one night stay, the property was well kept with all amenities in perfect working order. The host was lovely and checked in via text to ensure everything was as it should be. And all the local kookaburras and birds came down at sunset to enjoy dinner and a view. Would recommend to others and would return if our travels bring us this way again.

Perfect spot in a great river town

We had a relaxing stay, with everything we needed and plenty of great spots to sit and relax. I liked being up on the cliff, with an amazing panoramic view of the river and floodplains, across the mallee forest. thanks!

Great river getaway

Great spot - close to river, service station, playground and Main Street. Nice street for kids to ride bikes, explore scrub and collect firewood across the road. Thank you Leah and team for a great weekend

A beautiful place to stay with family and friends! So much to do around the area. Had more than enough kitchen appliances to towels, bedding and everything you need! Kids absolutely enjoy the pool table, tv and books. Leah was very accommodating and got back to me with any questions. We definitely will be staying here again.

Fabulous place to stay

We had a great four day stay. Place was homely and clean. Had lots of reading material and even a pool table to enjoy. Was able to take our dog with us which was awesome. Great view of the river. Everything you need was provided and we thought the leaving of mince to be able to feed the kookaburras daily and other birds was a real treat. So much wildlife at your door. Would recommend a stay here to anyone. Will be one our list to stay here again. Thanks Leah for a fantastic stay.

Stayed here with my son while inspecting flood damaged houses along the river. House was absolutely beautiful, the most well stocked house we've ever stayed in. It had everything we needed. Host was lovely. We will definitely stay again. highly recommend. thank you

Wonderful

My wife and I stayed here with my mother in law for a couple of nights as I had work in the area. We all had a lovely time, enjoyed a coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine at night with the great view. It was very cold but did survive with the heaters in the bedrooms. Very well equipped house, has everything we needed. Bed wasn’t very comfortable in the main room. Seeing all the wildlife out the front and feeding the very friendly birds definitely topped it off. We would stay again.

Peaceful

Leah was very helpful. A great location. My dog absolutely loved having the bush to walk through. She enjoyed it immensely. It was a good girls weekend. Only things were, the beds were uncomfortable and it was cold inside. We managed with the gas heaters and the column heaters. Ducted heating would've been beautiful. Also we would've loved a DVD player in the lounge room, but we managed with one in the bedroom. Overall though we had a nice time, relaxing and playing games. Our favourite thing was the firepit. We had enough wood for 2 nights.

This property has everything needed and more for a relaxing convenient comfortable holiday for all ages including pets. The enclosed back yard with plenty of shelter is ideal and decks back and front have plenty of searing for outdoor relaxation. Safety has been considered with extras such as nonslip bath mats and activities are provided for all ages no matter what the weather. Access to other Riverland areas is easy and Morgan offers excellent pub meals, take away and all essentials.

A relaxing getaway

A quirky but excellently appointed property overlooking the river. The birdlife entertains as one relaxes on the deck overlooking the river. Peaceful and quiet- can highly recommend it.

Leah was lovely to deal with. The property was lovely and clean, well presented and so easy to arrange the rental. We had a very long day of travelling and were grateful for such a lovely house to stay in!

I currently live remote in an Aboriginal Community and you will see this influence reflected in my property name Tjunkaya, pronounced with a silent "T" and with art work that is displayed in my home. I have lived in Morgan for approx 2 years out of the 10 that I have owned the property, even though I work away, I still have friends and connections within the town, so if anything goes wrong there is always a helping hand just down the street. I grew up in Adelaide, went to Madison Park Primary School and Salisbury East High School. I love sharing my home with guests, its just got too good a view and atmosphere not to share it with people. All my friends and family tell me they love coming to stay because it is so relaxing and serene and you can make your holiday what you want, a fun filled sports holiday or a relaxing and rejuvenating one. Great for budding authors, contractors and workers visiting Morgan for work. Even though I am remote, i am still available 24/7 via mobile and will organise what I can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable, just let me know. I am in the middle of painting and redecorating and setting up the home properly for your utmost enjoyment, so i appreciate your patience and feedback, i have kept prices low to reflect this.
