Terrific house

Great place to stay for a group of friends visiting Cabo. Grocery within walking distance (cross busy highway required), beautiful pool, clean and comfortable house. Uber and activity transportation easy to access. Beach is a long walk and not swimable but breathtakingly beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with views of the ocean and several fireworks displays from resorts nearby during our stay.Monica was very responsive and helped us feel at home quickly.

Just a little slice of heaven

This place was perfect for us. We rolled out of bed in the morning, had our coffee by the pool, sunsets on the roof and a hot tub right before bed to sleep soundly until coffee by the pool.

Stunning views

The house was spectacular. Had everything could possibly want or need. Monica the property manager was terrific, super communication. We had a driver, left his card at the house, he was amazing. Took us everywhere. We whale watched, went horseback riding, and had massages at the house. It was perfect.

Loved it!

This cozy, hacienda style home is everything the pictures represent. Monica, the PM, met us at the house when we first arrived. She walked us thru everything we would need to know. She also responds promptly to messages if we ran across any issues. Their grocery store, Frescko La Comer, is right up the road. It has everything you need for a stay at Villa Serena! The private beach is beautiful but is a pretty good hike to get there. We loved the roof top patio! The view is incredible. We could see whales almost every day. I highly recommend this house. We are looking forward to going back there.

Great location in Los Cabos

The three ensuite rooms were perfect for the six of us. Kitchen very well equipped for family meals. Best part of the home is the pool area which we used every day. The community beach was great for sunsets but definitely not for swimming- no sign but obvious because of the surf. They also have a few snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas which came in handy. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Safe

The house itself is beautiful and well cared for. We spent much of our time either on the lanai or in the pool. The views from the lanai are wonderful as there are no neighbors to the South - you can see to the ocean and whale watch! The house is well equipped with towels, toiletries and paper products. Make sure you brush up on your Spanish as the washer, dryer and grocery store (not surprising) require some interpretation. The housing area has 24 hr Manned, gated entry which is a huge safety factor. The only problems were burned out bulbs in the living room and lack of mixing bowls in the kitchen. Monica and her family were very helpful when we contacted them. We spent two weeks there and will return next year!

Would stay again!!

Beautiful home and it made our stay in Cabo perfect. We had 6 adults and had ample room for privacy or to gather all together. Walking distance to grocery and a few fantastic restaurants. Note...notify Urber drivers you are in the Villa Serena Casa's not the resort. One downfall...We were not able to get the hot tub heated to a comfortable temperature.

Great House and location

House and view was wonderful. Monica met us at house. House was difficult to find as address is on Calle Del Faro. Beds in main house were very comfortable. MIL suite bed was not used but mattress seemed hard. Pool was great but cold some days. Would rent this house again as its close to downtown Cabo. Variety of stores close by. Villa Serena Restaurant had good food, we ate there for dinner. Some electrical issues as several lights did not work. Was difficult to figure out what switch went to what light. Overall our 6 nights stay was fabulous! The private beach is great but its challenging to go back up ALOT of stairs. Fine going down though. The house is in a very quiet area. We stayed out on back covered porch area most of your stay there. Could use some kind of sunshade on back porch to help with sun, full exposure once sun rises.

Nice house and location

This house is close to downtown Cabo, approximately 5km. The view of ocean is wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. All necessities were supplied;toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo & conditioner. There was some issues with some of the lights but the ones that worked were sufficient. Monica met us at house, which was a little difficult to find, its on Calle Del Faro. Grocery store was close by to pick up any items you needed to make any meals. I would stay here again if visiting Cabo.

Paradise!

My husband, daughter and a family friend had a wonderful time during our stay at Villa Serena. The property just invites you to relax and enjoy life while sipping on margaritas or maybe a chilled beer. We sat many nights enjoying the spa while gazing at the stars enjoying the Cabo weather and watching fireworks from nearby resorts. The community beach(15 minute walk) is beautiful and quiet , although the last few steps could be challenging depending on your physical condition. As far as shopping, there's a wonderful supermarket across the road, it's called Fresko, I don't think there's anything you could possibly want you wouldn't find there. There's also a Costco nearby, about 3 miles away, and of course once you step in it's like being at your local Costco. There's also a Walmart a little farther than Costco. The restaurant next to the community, also called Villa Serena, is very good and reasonably priced. I saved the best for last, Monica, the host. She was absolutely the BEST, extremely helpful, on top of everything and super nice. We would DEFINETELY return to Villa Serena again!

Great first trip to Los Cabos

We were staying at Villa Serena as a group of friends. The villa is beautiful, spacious and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The pool and jacuzzi were a great addition. We had a problem initially with 2 out of 3 showers, but Monica came immediately as we contacted her and fixed the problem! The AC was great, BBQ good, overall we really enjoyed our stay. Villa Serena restaurant has great tequilas, be careful as they are really big 😊. Monica suggested couple great restaurants and we visited them Cabo San Lucas is 10 minutes away and couple of great beaches are also 10-15 minutes away by car. Uber is also a convenient option. Thank you so much, Monica, for hosting us!

Villa Serena paradise!

This was such a nice rental! Rooms were large, living area comfortable, and the pool....The patio, and pool were the highlight of the stay! After a day of shopping in San Jose Del Cabo, or, at Medano beach people watching and partaking in all the area has to offer, the pool and hot tub were a nice place to unwind, have a few cocktails and enjoy dinner with friends. Maintenance staff came and went unseen, with a clean pool all the time, and well manicured grounds. Bring sunscreen, and enjoy a relaxing getaway with plenty of privacy and fun just moments away!

Beautiful View

We traveled with another couple and the house was perfect for us! The views were beyond spectacular and the house had all the amenities we needed. Plenty of cooking supplies for the breakfast and lunch we had at home each day. Well stocked with all paper products, towels, toiletries! Our host even replaced our malfunctioning coffee pot the same day! This was a terrific alternative to staying at a resort!

Tropical Bungalow

Villa Serena was exactly what we wanted! We were in Cabo for a friends wedding at the Montage Los Cabos, which was a bit on the pricey side to stay for a week. So my boyfriend and I, along with another couple rented Villa Serena for our 5 day stay. It was perfect. Only 7 minutes from Montage Los Cabos, about 20 minutes from the downtown/arches area, and approximately 35 minutes to Flora Farms. We loved the size and coziness of the house. Especially the tropical backyard and pool. It is also a 10 minute walk to a private beach/cove! Which was great, because we were actually able to enjoy the water and go swimming. Waves were manageable and current was not too strong in that specific area. Monica, the house manager was also extremely responsive and took care of anything we needed! Can't wait to return, and would highly recommend!

Great home away from home!

Stayed 6 nights in this airy, comfy home to celebrate a 60th birthday. We were 2 couples and LOVED the real-size pool (vs. a dipping pool) and basically stayed in there the entire time. There was plenty of room for all of us to splash and spin around on floaties, which were also provided but we did bring some as well. Home has all you need for a lovely relaxing vacation. The lounge chairs were extremely comfy as well. Loved watching the birds and debating on whether or not the mangos were ripe! Views are great and the fact that there is no home south of the property lends to its appeal. Property manager Monica was fantastic and provided us with answers to all questions we had. She even responded to texts in amazing time. Great food next door at Villa Serena Restaurant (we ate there 3 times) and you can get anything you might need at Costco or Wal-Mart which is right down the road. We did a private boat ride to the Arch to watch the sunset and walked around town a bit. However, we just enjoyed the lovely home and pool so much we basically stayed at "home"! Would love to return some day!
