Great little getaway

This was a beautiful house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much, but I have never been to a state with so many rocks. I would recommend this property to everyone looking for a nice and quiet relaxing trip. ThanksJoe

Felt Like Home

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Grand Junction at 3197 E Road. The bungalow we rented was clean, quiet, and well equipped. We had all the amenities of home. The only improvement is that we would have liked to have a washer and dryer, but everything else was perfect.

Worst experience at a rental

I'll try to keep this short but, I wanted to take a sec and make sure I left a review so other people would at least get a chance to know before they spend their hard earned money at this location. It was very dirty! I mean it was picked up and looked cute but as far as like dust and animal hair, it was very bad. I'm highly allergic to cats and the hair was everywhere. And dust on the ceiling fan that was ridiculous. I contacted their rude management and VRBO customer support and nothing. I ended up with an infection and spent $250 just to see the doctor where I was as prescribed medicine. Still no help with sending anyone to clean. And God forbid you need towels with no where to wash laundry and your there longer then a week. I asked for towels and someone left 2 small wash rags at the front door. It's cute but please take my advice pick another one. Oh I almost forgot. I texted the management about the dishwasher being disconnected from thethe cabinet it was falling out and she said she would send someone. No one ever came to fix it and the stove didn't work and she said she was having one dropped off and that never happened either.

Just okay

The shelves where the dishes are were very dusty. Needed to wash everything before use. Also, it is on major streets which is convenient but there was a lot of road noise. The shower was nice and hot! It was a good place for a short stay and place to sleep.

Sketchy location . Felt unsafe.

My wife and I took one look at the property and neighborhood and said there was no way we would stay. Whole place felt unsafe and the neighboring houses were unkempt. I contacted VRBO and have yet to hear one word. Also contacted property manager who said she couldn't do anything and to contact VRBO. DON't reserve here.

Cute little bungalow

Adorable setup with all the necessities of home! Located off some main roads so although a little noisy at night it was incredibly easy to get from Grand Junction to Palisade and everywhere in-between!

Please ask for current pictures, if you are going by the posted pictures just remember a picture is not always worth a thousand words. The price is very reasonable, however all the pretty outside landscape is dead and brown , furniture inside is chipped and worn. Very poor response from the hostess, says she is a new owner and doesn’t know, maybe someone should doing work instead of collecting money.

Stayed at the Bees Knees for two nights while we explored all the wineries in Palisade.

This was an amazing place to stay with my friends for the weekend. It was centrally located between downtown Grand Junction and Palisade. Quick drives to both. Karen was a super host and let us check in early. The property has a lot of personality and offered us everything we needed. Though its listed as room for 3, the 3rd bed is a futon and was not the most comfortable. Otherwise 5 out of 5. Would stay again.

Cute place, great host!!!

My husband, kid and I went to grand junction to visit our daughter while she swam in a college swim meet. We loved our host Karen and when we needed anything she was on it! She had chickens that our 10yr old loved feeding! She accommodated our dogs and allowed us to use other areas to walk them which was super helpful! The area is very close to palisades, but we were a little farther from Downtown GJ than we wanted to be. The bungalow and the property was great, but the surrounding area is a little run down unfortunately. We felt safe though and our stay was still very good!!!

Fantastic!!

This is in a residential area and is very "relaxation friendly"!! It is comfortable, roomy, quiet and well stocked with everything you need for an extended stay...from kitchen items to extra blankets if needed. We are planning on moving to the Grand Junction area for our retirement years and spent a week here. We didn't want to stay at a typical hotel..we wanted a place that we could sit outside and enjoy our time. The patio has a nice size table and comfortable chairs. The Bees Knees exceeded our expectations! Karen was helpful with dining suggestions and things to do. We enjoyed talking with her and felt that we were instant friends! She has chickens on site and we had FRESH eggs for our breakfasts...yummy!! We will be staying here again if needed during our house hunting. Jeff & Laurie

Cute but not good

There were so many problems with the check in process and overall I do not think they were fit for running an place you can rent out. Overall a weird and bad experience. Don’t recommend. But the inside is cute. It looks like the pictures but a lot of mixups did happen.

Cute

Cute little bungalow but didn’t realize it was attached to a house. It wasn’t a problem/ no noise from the other home. Super cute flowers And outdoor area and throwback decor inside and out. Indoor living area a bit tight for eating and hanging out but the adorable outdoor area makes up for it.

Beyond our expectations!!

We were in the Palisade / Grand Junction area for our friends wedding. This Bungalow was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed (and more!!). It was dog-friendly, which was super convenient for us with our 2 pups. We spent quite a bit of time outside on the covered patio, enjoying morning coffee or evening nightcaps. There was plenty of space for the two of us and our pups. Highly recommend! The owners are VERY friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This exceeded what we could've hoped for!! When we head back to the western slope, we know where we'll be staying.

Amazing Bungalow with Lots of Character!

Great location pretty equidistant to the wineries of Palisade and wonderful restaurants of Grand Junction. The Bees Knees is a cozy little bungalow with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Karen was AMAZING going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed! I wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back for sure!!
