Lovely Family Layout

Very fun place to stay. It was perfect for all of the ages of our children; I was thrilled to have a crib, high chair and many games and activities to entertain my infant, toddler and 9 year-old. Great layout and lots of space. Host was very communicative and accommodating, we were so appreciative after a long cross country flight.

Family trip

We had the absolute best trip with my husband, 1.5 year old daughter, mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother-in-law. The home was so beautiful and in such a peaceful location. We wish we had more time there and would love to come back in the future. We would have been content staying in the home for the whole trip with all the amenities and coziness of the home. Multiple great local restaurants nearby as well! Hosts were extremely kind and checked in on us during our stay! 5/5

Perfect location to celebrate my daughters wedding

The place is located in a stunning location. We walked the beach everyday. The house has all the amenities your family will need for a stay. The place is clean and the owners are very responsive. My daughter was married during our stay. Perfect place to come to together with family.

Great House

The house was very comfortable for our family, easy checkin, and when we had questions they were quickly answered. The only issue was the tropical storm that made getting to the house one day a challenge, but other than that it was great!

Quick family vacay

Wanted somewhere close to Boston, cape cod and Rhode Island. Great views from the widows walk... was windy/rainy a couple of times so count use it everyday. we were day tripping everyday so didn't get to really enjoy the house to its fullest. Only suggestion from family was to get a better electrician to figure out all the lights and what they actually light up, but that was minor. The family enjoyed the space after being cramped in a hotel room for a few nights. if we are back in the area again, would definately look to book it again!

Much Needed Attention

I was VERY disappointed with the cleanliness of this property. Most of the kitchen dishes were dirty with dried food (severe dishwasher residue). Kitchen cabinets/drawers were cluttered with food crumbs/messy. There was a moldy spa stool in the Master Bath where the towels were placed. We were given ONE towel per person ( I enjoy having 2) so that was frustrating. The MB closet had a window screen with bird feces leaning against the wall. A previous review mentioned exposed wires during their stay- We saw the wires had been taped down to the wall with clear packing tape (assuming solution by owners). Lightbulbs were mismatched (watts/light color) in the bathrooms- in addition to some flickering related to the light switch itself-so that was frustrating when getting ready. The outdoor sitting area was very dirty and not enjoyable. Overgrown weeds, 2 molded umbrellas laying on the ground, other random items lying around, 2 screen doors that are severely ripped (junky) and the exterior in general needs cleaning. The owner did check in with us the first day and offered to come clean the dishes- we declined. I was also told I could throw away the molded spa bench and get more towels from a closet. So she was responsive with the main issues at hand. Overall, I'm not sure how previous reviews said this property was "extremely clean". It is a beautiful home with MUCH NEEDED TLC!!! It has a ton of potential, but unfortunately that's not what we experienced.

Perfect house for a group; amazing host

The Weekendah was so great! My family came over for a big dinner one night and it was perfect for all ages – plenty of space for the kids (3, 5, 8, 8, 10) to play and great space for the adults to mingle. There are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you have anybody with mobility issues in your group. Additionally, Val was so flexible and communicative – truly an A+ host.

Love this house!

The owners are great to work with. They are accommodating and helpful but not at all intrusive. The home is beautiful with lots of amenities. This was my second stay but will not be my last.

Just a little TLC needed

First, the host was extremely responsive anytime we had an issue. Having said that, the home had dirty carpeting in the bedrooms, closet doors that were unusable (fell off when open,) bare wires in many places and missing switch plate covers on plugs, among other things. We communicated all of our observations to the host upon our departure and received a nice response, indicating that all of the issues would be addressed. We did truly think that the host wants to make the guests welcome and will work to correct the issues.

A Wonderful Getaway

The Weekendah was a wonderful getaway property. Located in a very picturesque location (typical New England), this property is perfect for an extended family getaway. The amenities are as described, although due to rainy weather, we were not able to enjoy the patio as we had hoped. Great location, easy to get to other areas for day trips (we went to Newport RI one day), there is enough to enjoy locally. The hosts, Val in particular, are so easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions or requests. The only caveat is that there are several staircases, main level with kitchen and most bedrooms is up a flight from the main level. This was not a big issue for us but something folks need to be aware of. Thank you Weekendah for a wonderful getaway!

House near the beach

Overall we had a great time. The upstairs has lots of windows and is nice and bright. Unfortunately, we could not get the upstairs fireplace to work or the downstairs projection TV.

Lovely time

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our base for exploring the Boston/Cape Cod area. This would be an amazing property if you were travelling with kids due to the beach access and the amenities in the house.

Great House, Great Location

House was clean, welcoming, and filled with anything we could ever need. Lots of toys and games to entertain kids when not at the beach. Quick walk to the beach made even better with the wagon they had for us. Plenty of room for kids, parents, and grandparents to spread out. Everyone loved watching the sun set from the widow's walk. Communication with homeowner was top notch - they made sure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend!

Weekend away with family

Our family had a great time at the weekendah! The property was a beautiful home that was also family friendly and had all of the amenities we needed traveling with a 1 and 4 year old. We had a wonderful stay at the property. The location along the coast is serene, the property was welcoming and the beds were all very comfortable. It was also well-stocked for our 14month old daughter, great place to bring kids!

Much needed getaway

Spent time playing cards, watching football, preparing and cooking on the great counter tops. Visited some local breweries and eateries and enjoyed a walk down to the beach. Highly recommend!

We have dreamed of owning a beach house for a long time. When this home became available for the first time in over 25 years, we immediately jumped at the opportunity due to the unbelievable views from the entire second and third floors and widow's walk.
