Charming vacation home located walking distance from local fruit and produce stand, restaurants, and the beach. Watch the sunset from back patio, or grab a beer at the Tap Room one block away. A short drive from downtown Gig Harbor, where you'll find a variety of maritime activities. Stay awhile at our little slice of Paradise. One of the best fly fishing spots around! Easy access to highway 16. Kayaks on site with a fire pit and grill to have a great bbq on the beach!
Property comes with exterior cameras that cover water side (cameras) on both sides of house, front door camera, car port camera and side house camera. Please follow the no pet rules for the house. Thank You!

Beach front property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and conveniently located. At the beach we saw all kinds of marine life. Starfish, crabs,ssea lions and other interesting shells. The host was friendly and always available. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation for my family and I. We will return someday.

Poles in the water!!!

Was a great escape from everyday life!! Right on the water. The property was better than the description! Clean, spacious inside and out! I’ll definitely be reaching out to stay here again!!

Nice view and back yard. Sort of odd location.

This is an older home that appears to have been expanded. The kitchen is decent, the bedrooms are large, the bathrooms are old but functional. The back yard is very pleasant with a view of the Purdy bridge. The home is located behind a bar but we did not detect a noise or parking issue. The location is only 5-6 minutes to Albertsons/Costco/Target.

Very Nice

We enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient being next to the marked and close to all the destinations we required. It was also nice to be able to beach comb and relax in the evening by the water. The host was quick to respond with questions.

Great property

Perfect location for all local events and the property managers were so accommodating and prompt. The view is wonderful as is the sitting room and beds. Slept great! Will come again.

Great place to stay

The host was very helpful. The property is right on the water. It’s a beautiful location right near the bridge. We used the kayaks and had a great time. I would recommend this VRBO.

Thanksgiving in Gig Harbor

We were here during Thanksgiving, visiting my son and granddaughters. As such, we didn’t really spend a lot of time in the house. We were five adults, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The two bathrooms made life a lot easier. A couple of us enjoyed a morning coffee while watching the wildlife. There were eagles and an otter or two…and lots of birds. We took beach walks every morning and were enthralled with checking the tide! The house is decorated in a cute, beachy motif. Management was quick to respond to a question I had.

Perfect getaway!

This home was the perfect destination for our family! The house was perfectly clean and decorated, with all the basic supplies we needed. Cathy was honestly one of the best hosts I have ever dealt with. She got back to me right away with any questions I had and even made it possible for us to check in a day early with very little notice. The location was absolutely perfect! Plenty of fresh food options within steps of the front door, while also somehow feeling like our own private bay. Thank you so much for making our last summer getaway so wonderful. We look forward to many more summer getaways at your home. I only wish we could stay longer!

Purdy Gem

Previous reviews have not done this home justice, the interior is updated, very comfortable beds, spotless and clean. The owners are doing a wonderful job updating and helpful. The views and access to the beach are unique and special. Basically you have your own provate beach to watch fly fisherman in the distance, seals, eagles, and a variety of waterlife. This is a cute enclave with easy access to GH and Hw 16. Plus, Purdy Boys is nearby with the freshest fruit and a variety of healthy foods, Bridgeway Market carries some essentials and if you dont feel like cooking there is Dexters Burgers and a Thai place. Great place with a modern kitchen, (but bring your own spices/oils), and greater neighboring people.

Visiting Grandma in Gig Harbor

The home is decorated so nicely and the backyard view is amazing. The beds were really comfortable and the space was easy to be in, and we were a big group. The boys (adults) enjoyed having a fire in the firepit and watching the water! Kitchen is well supplied for cooking and dining. Need to bring your own spices/oil and shampoo.

Beach house

We had an absolute blast. Love the access to the beach. Parts of the beach house could use replacing or updating (I.e bathtub/ shower) but overall we had a great time and would come back again!

Place was a dream!

As a homeschooling family the nature and water animals were incredible. Nightly around 6pm you’ll see the sea lions swimming and popping their heads up. Around noon we walked down to the shore and seen sooo many starfish. It was so cool and such a fun learning experience for our kiddos. Definitely family friendly. Would totally recommend to anybody needing a getaway just outside of town.

Family Gathering

This property is a great place to gather as a family. It is much larger than expected. We enjoyed a wonderful family dinner, football on the big screen, and a nice fire outside by the water. I would rent here again. We did have some issues getting in but were resolved quickly and the owner bent over backwards to accommodate us. Super fun and relaxing hidden gem. The young kids really enjoyed it. The view was spectacular and very relaxing.

during heat wave

very nice location on the water -plenty of room outside overlooking the the area- many eagles were seen as were herons - quiet except for bridge on the left that was busy and loud at times - lots of room inside for everyone with a nice kitchen

Great Beach House

The house reminds me of my grandma's cottage. Quaint, outdated, super comfortable, and clean. There is plenty of places to sleep and the view! It's gorgeous. The neighbor was very nice. I would definitely recommend staying.

Best place in the Harbor for the 4th of July fireworks!

Beautiful home in a great location! Held our family reunion there and hope to go back again. Property was clean, had everything we needed, and we made some great memories there! Property manager was fantastic. I rate it 10 stars if I could!

We had a very eventful first evening with some homeless person under the bridge and the owner called the police. I know this is not her fault but being it really made us feel very uneasy to go outside anytime after dark. All in all not very relaxing. Probably would not return.

Not much effort put into rental at all

The backyard was absolutely beautiful and it was lovely to be right on the water to watch the tide come in and out. The house, however, did not match the yard. Very little effort was put into the house. One of the beds was absolutely awful to sleep on, it felt like I was sleeping on an old pullout couch mattress. The house was not very clean. There was dust and hair all over. We even found an old lithium pill on the ground next to one of the beds. If they put just a TINY bit of effort into the rental it would be so great. We were pretty disappointed with the lack of effort in almost everything inside the house. Be prepared for some restless nights if you have to sleep on the terrible mattress. It's also RIGHT next to the bridge, so the cars are literally right outside your window.

Cozy and Quiet

My family and I stayed for a little over a week during the holiday season and loved the experience. The house was exactly as described and the view of the water was amazing to wake up to each morning. It's location is a little odd since it's behind a small mall, but that only made it more convenient when we needed last minute groceries or snacks. We were also able to walk along the beach during low tide to check out the wildlife. The house comfortably fit 5 adults and had all of the necessities for us to cook our own meals and also had a number of restaurants nearby in case we 2anted to go out. Some of the other reviews mentioned a lot of noise from the bridge in the south bedroom, but we didn't notice it at all during our stay. Another showerhead and curtain were also added to the bathroom so there were two full baths when we got there. Thank you again for your hospitality, Catherine!
