About this property
REFUGE PLACE BY THE BEACH (CAMP SHALOM)
Your second "little home"in the Philippines. Simple life, fresh fish, warm friendly Filipino hospitality, white sand, wind and blue sea... Be part of the culture of this quiet fishing village.
The Refuge Place is located inside Camp Shalom, a friendly, happy place in a fishing village of Bucana, El Nido, Palawan. Sun, sea and wind, quiet life and simplicity- these will embrace you as pass thru the hanging bridge on your way to your Refuge Place. Our guests often find it difficult to leave once they get immersed in the culture unique to this humble place. Perhaps it's the honest, sincere smile and hospitality of the locals that endears this place to its guests- who in no time become family.
The house is simple and basic- with living room, dining area and 2 bedrooms which are fan-based. The double beds are size 54' which can accommodate 2 people. The kitchen has gas stove, kitchen wares, glass, silver and china wares. There's TV, 2 bar stools and table for indoor social drinking. The bungalow is inside camp Shalom where there are 3 kubo-tels (native huts), glamping for 2-3 tents, and 2-3 shared toilet/bath. You can join the occasional camp fires, BBQ nights and some sing-along. You can spend the day in the beach, walking around neighborhood, visit Nacpan , Duli, Mariposa beach which are within the same barangay, visit town where there's nightlife, restaurants, rent bikes and anything goes.
The neighborhood is peaceful with nearby stores where you can buy your supplies from chicken, fish, vegetables, eggs, bread and toiletries. Just be here!- come as you are... the rest is a story you will write...
