SERENE ON THE STREAM’s inviting, open floor plan boasts a vaulted ceiling and cozy, gas fireplace. The living room has a leather, queen size, pull-out sofa that provides additional sleeping for 2 guests and cozy accent chair, plus a reading nook area set along the windows with a perfect view of the tree canopy. A dining table with seating for 2, as well as bar seating for 3 at the kitchen island, provides amble seating for guests. The fully stocked kitchen has all the essentials and the black stainless steel appliances and custom live edge concrete counters give the kitchen a contemporary rustic feel.

The cabin’s master bedroom has a king size bed with luxuriously comfortable mattress and linens that will guarantee a restful night’s sleep. The spa like bathroom has a large, glass surround shower with body sprays, a separate soaker tub and waterfall edge quartz counter.

A “tree-house” feel can be experienced anywhere on the over 800 sq ft of outdoor living space. The deck has both covered and uncovered spaces, with inviting seating areas, a floor to ceiling rock fireplace, hot tub, gas grill and dining table for 4. Head down the side steps and walk over to the fire pit with chairs perfect for indulging in s’mores or to sit and chat about the day over a glass of wine.

Perfect Getaway

Serene on the Stream is the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The back deck is a perfect place to drink your morning coffee and relax in the hot tub at night. The view into the trees is beautiful, and the sound of the stream is so soothing!

Falling apart, and careless

The property looked clean and spring behind property was beautiful and running. The first night was good, and then things went down hill. There was a solid piece of trim about 16’ long fell from 20’ up and almost hit my wife but hit the lamp and chair. The rain started coming down and house was dripping down the walls, in several places in the middle of the room. We noticed trim in bathroom was ready bark hanging on, tile in shower cracking apart. Just not a very well taken care of property. We messaged the property several times with not one response. They did not care about any of the issues we had. Please be careful of this property and management company.

Serene Birthday

Fantastic property and location! Very clean & comfortable. We really enjoyed just relaxing on the back deck by the fireplace after a day of zip lining & exploring the area. We will be back!!

Fun hieaway in the woods!

Great location. The map/instructions could use some improving, it was a little hard to find. It was very enjoyable and nice to hear running water, watch deer, etc.

Perfect for couples

This is a perfect location from the lake. Very clean, has everything you need to cook, the hot tub was HOT and the view on the back is amazing. We enjoyed our stay thanks for having us.

Babymoon Getaway

This cabin was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, private, and close to all the amenities my husband and I had planned for our babymoon getaway. Our biggest concern was EV charging. When I called management, they assured that there was a regular outlet at the front of the property and just advised us to purchase a 50ft extension cable which we bought at Lowes prior to our arrival. Needless to say, it's possible to travel with an EV to this cabin as the charging problem became a non-issue. The cabin itself felt luxury with a relaxing king bed for this 8 month pregnant momma. Lastly, the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the outdoor seating area on the patio which was not cleaned. Overall would rate an 8.9/10!

Winter Getaway

Serene on the Stream did not disappoint. The cabin was decorated to impress but very comfy. The kitchen was well appointed with all the cooking utensils you would ever need. The outdoor fireplace and deck were heavenly. Added to the outside enjoyment was a babbling creek. The spa bathroom was large and wonderful. Unfortunately, maintenance is not being kept up. The indoor fireplace was not working. The handheld spray in the shower could not be used because the control was stripped and wouldn't turn on. The exhaust vent over the stove top was crusted in grease and apparently hasn't been cleaned for some time. Dust bunnies run amuck under the elevated nightstands. Hopefully these repairs will be taken care of. The cabin is wonderful and should be maintained as such.

Overall Great!

Could improve cleanliness on a finer level; drawers had debris in them and the patio furniture was not used due to some weird green staining. Loved the holiday decor and feeling! The living room fireplace was not functional through the switch on the wall. Thankfully, we had it working manually. The maintenance wasn’t available until the next day and this was a huge amenity for us! The lack of cleaning supplies for guests (like a kitchen sponge) was a little rough. There are cabins booming everywhere around this place (expectedly), but there’s a big family cabin right in sight which ruined some of the privacy and serenity. The front door does leak in a rain storm significantly, 3/4 of the jets in the hot tub do not work, and most of the pans in the kitchen are old (just because they’re Calphalon doesn’t mean they’re good anymore.) Overall the cabin was great though and I enjoyed our experience! I would recommend this to any couple looking to get away from the city. This cabin just needs a few small things to be absolutely perfect. My partner and I rated it a 7/10, so don’t let this nit picky review lead you away!

Anniversary Weekend

This cabin was the perfect place for my fiancé and I to spend our anniversary. The cabin is beautifully decorated, stocked and was the perfect location for privacy. There was a little thunderstorm our first night. The deck was perfect for sitting by the fire and listen to the rain and the flow of the stream. The only thing that could have made it better was if the roof extended over the jacuzzi and the string lights worked. Overall a fabulous experience!! Thank you~E

Perfect place to stay

This is the perfect romantic get away for a couple. Not too big, not too small. The kitchen is big and well stocked with appliances. We cooked all of our meals for the long weekend there. The bathroom is also large with plenty of room for two. The house has wonderful tall glass windows everywhere overlooking the forest. But the porch is where it’s at. Lots of seating to look at the forest and creek. Lounge chairs, rockers, a couch, a dining table, a fireplace and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The location is fantastic, and walking distance to a shopping area with restaurants, ice cream and distillery. The house is in the forest with a small, clear creek in the back. We saw deer, herons, fish, and all kind of birds. It’s a great place to stay.

Not clean and the house is shifting

We go to Broken Bow every 3 months so we stay in a lot of cabins. Every cabin has been good except this one. It was very dirty, dried food was spilled on cabinets and not cleaned up. The trash can area had tons of crumbs and food. We saw a dead roach by the trash can and the coffee bar area. If you plan to cook while at the cabin, this cabin has no real cooking equipment. 1 fry pan, 1 sauce pan and 1 Dutch oven. The cooking utensils were also dirty. I was thankful I brought Clorox wipes because I had to do my own cleaning. The management company did refund the cleaning amount we paid but this cabin wasn’t worth the price tag at all. It rained the first day and then we couldn’t shut the bedroom door because of the foundation shifting. There was also water collecting in the walls and it appears this has been happening for a long time with the brown stains on the wall. The hot tub outside is leaning as well so some of the jets are spraying you in the face because they don’t have water cover them. The cabin was really awful but thankfully the hiking and weather were perfect!!!

Beautiful cabin! Exceptionally clean and comfortable! We had a wonderful time! My kids ( 9 and 6) especially enjoyed playing and exploring by the stream! Perfect vacation. We also enjoyed the very short commute to Hochatown activities and restaurants! 5 stars!! We want to book another trip already! 😊
