With 10 hours of daylight and more than 20 area golf courses, tennis, 60 miles of bike paths, and many miles of the best beach in the country - there is plenty to keep you busy!
The first floor features a welcoming screened-in porch with a dining table and rocking chairs; interior open living-dining area; a well-stocked kitchen; three bedrooms (third bedroom with separate hallway) and two bathrooms.
The brand new private pool space is where you will head for additional relaxation -- featuring a heated saltwater pool and cabana with alfresco dining area, KitchenAid grill, and outdoor seating for enjoying the company of friends and family poolside.
Hilton Head Island's most attractive (and private) beaches are just steps away. We offer beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart, and towels -- all you need for a fun time by the ocean.
You can also ride your bike or stroll down the trail to Coligny Plaza with its restaurants, shops, ice-cream parlor, French bakery, and Piggly Wiggly supermarket.
You will find bike rental company suggestions and information on island activities for all ages inside the house. There is so much to do and see!

Family Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, easy access to the beach and the owners have provided all the amenities with beach chairs, towels, wagon and many beach toys for kids. The house is equipped with a high chair and toys for toddlers. The pool and patio provide a great environment for evening family meals. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We stayed at the property for RBC Heritage 2024 & couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more!!! The location, amenities, & cleanliness were all top notch. The host were extremely responsive to anything we needed (although we didn’t need much at all!) Our party agreed we need to reserve this place anytime we are on HHI. You are truly SECONDS from the beach, short drive to dining, shopping & anything else you could possibly need. 5 stars all around!

Gem of a house and location

We discovered this cute gem and booked for spring break! From the advance communication to the stay, everything was flawless! The house is adorable and a perfect location to the beach and bike ride to Coligny. The kids enjoyed the pool and being able to easily choose to pivot to beach! Would definitely book again! A Wonderful Week

This rental had a very charming cottage like feel to it. My family of five stayed for a week, and enjoyed every second. The owners thought of everything - there were welcome snacks and fresh flowers when we arrived, lots of beach equipment/toys, toys for the kids in the bunk room, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool and outdoor space is fantastic. On the chilly days we were still able to get outside and swim in the heated pool. We didn’t end up using the third bedroom because you don’t access it through the main house and our kids are young, but it would be perfect for older kids or parents/in-laws. Can’t beat the access to the beach! We also rented bikes for the week and biked into town almost daily (about a five minute ride). This is truly a wonderful property - thank you Rick and Denise!

Prime HHI location. Great for small family stay.

Location is ideal. Close to beach, biking trails, shopping, food, etc. The private pool was fantastic and heated. House was perfect for our group of 7 and the 3rd bedroom being off the main house was great for grandparents. Kitchen was well appointed. Home had toys, games and puzzles which we needed when we ended up having 2 bad weather days. Beds were comfortable. Towels for pool/beach and toys for pool/beach were very appropriated.

New Years on the Beach

Very comfortable and well supplied. One of the few rentals in this area that do not have stairs in order to enter, making it easier for my elderly parents to navigate. The weather was cold so we were not able to enjoy all of the outdoor seating areas but could see how great this place is for spreading out on the property. There are a lot of beach chairs, towels and toys, and a wagon to take them to the beach. Very well stocked if you have young children. We will definitely consider staying at this property in the future.

Excellent family summer beach vacay

This house was exactly as advertised; extremely convenient, clean, and comfortable. It was less than a five minute walk to a very relaxing beach which the kids and us loved. When they needed a break from the beach, the pool was fantastic. Overall, the owners were very communicative when needed (was rarely needed). Everything necessary for a relaxing, low-key family beach vacation was there, and we would have no hesitation about returning in the future (in fact already contemplating doing so :o). Thanks again for a great vacation spot!

Location that cannot be beat and an awesome pool!

My husband and I and our two boys (ages 4 and 9) just had the loveliest week at Rick and Denise's house! We loved the easy, 2 minute walk to the beach, which isn't nearly as crowded as nearby beaches. This house is just across the street from a lovely, shaded bike path that takes you down to Coligny Plaza, shops, ice cream, coffee and restaurants just a 5 minute bike ride away. We took Rick's recommendation and rented bikes from Mikes Bikes (which offers free pick up and delivery) and were so glad we did! The heated saltwater pool was amazing. The bottom was nice and smooth and didn't tear up my boys' feet like some pool floors do. We loved having the nearby shade of the cabana, and the hose and showerhead to rinse off after the beach were great. You can tell that Rick and Denise put a lot of attention to the landscaping. It's gorgeous! Quiet neighborhood, surrounded by other lovely houses. As a family who likes to cook on vacation, we were grateful for the TWO full sized refrigerators available to us. The kitchen had everything I could have possibly asked for. The coffee maker wasn't working on our first day there, and the owners graciously (and quickly) replaced it. My husband was impressed with the great wifi. The washer dryer were much bigger than I was expecting. Upon our arrival everything was clean and the air conditioning kept the house comfortable and cool. The Beach Nest checks off all our "must haves". We hope to return next year! Great Beach House

Cozy beach house just steps away from the beach, pool and outdoor area was where we spent a lot of time! Really great for family travel, the kids room was wonderful! It’s in a great spot that’s close enough to everything, restaurants and shopping, but also quiet, private and relaxing. A great vacation spot, easy check in and great communication from owner!

Varied activities

The beach by the house is in the uncrowded space between more populated areas. We enjoyed the trails at nearby wildlife/nature preserves, dolphin watching on a boat ride, and the Gullah tour. Grilled fresh shrimp and ate at the Salty Dog. Owner and agent responsive. Husband enjoyed bike riding on beach and the cabana/pool.

Hilton Head PERFECTION

The only disappointing thing about this stay was how short it was! A++++++ across the board. The access to the beach was tops for us along with the size of the pool. No detail was left unattended: beach towels, pool/beach toys, snacks (THANK YOU!!!), comfortable sitting areas, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and the covered area by the pool - absolute heaven. Rick was available immediately on text and through the app. Couldn’t have been happier and look forward to booking with them again!

Perfect house and location!

The house and location were absolutely perfect for our group of 6 (us, our 2 children, plus grandparents). With the house set up (one bed and bath being off the porch) it worked well for our group and gave the grandparents their own space. The outdoor space was absolutely beautiful and we spent the majority of our non beach time enjoying the backyard. We rented bikes for an easy ride to Coligny. The house was the best stocked rental we've stayed in, they truly thought of everything. Rick and Denise were fantastic to communicate with. We'd absolutely stay again!!

We enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature as there are no two days alike by the ocean. We also appreciate healthy living with good food and good friends!!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property to make the most of its proximity to the ocean and vacation feel by adding a pool area and remodeling the interior while maintaining its mid-century beachy feel. Rather than change the interior entirely we chose to preserve its original style, creating a relaxing, bright and cozy ambiance inside. Besides the house, we love the location and quiet, family-oriented neighborhood!!
