Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, the driveway is a gravel or hard packed dirt surface. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control. We strongly recommend a 4 wheeled drive vehicle or a truck to access this property during all seasons.

Wonderful views and location, property was advertised and made for a wonderful weekend stay. Property manager reached out personally in advance to ensure a smooth check-in and answer any questions I had. Note the road is relative steep leading to the property. No issues for me, but with snow, you may want to utilize a 4WD vehicle.
Nice property. Quiet with only a few neighbors. Great hot tub, gas fire pit and a wonderful second story deck looking into the trees. What’s not to like!
There were a few things that weren’t 100 up to standard such as the shower pressure and cleanliness of the actual shower but over all it was a great stay
Property is as described, very quiet, no frills atmosphere.
Just what I was looking for to decompress and recharge.

The Love and Dreams property was great! It was very clean when we got there and nice and cool too! We loved the views, the hot tub especially, the fire pit and that it was pet friendly (our dog had a great time with us there and had enough room to run). Zane was very easy to contact and was very nice over the phone, close drive to whatever we needed but far enough away for the seclusion that we were wanting. We will be visiting again so we can take the skyline drive in the fall time and explore the other caverns that we didnt get to explore on this trip.
Thank you Zane for the hospitality! We will return! Kelly and David C.

Fir the amount of money you spend it was not worth it.
It was an older place that needs updated. The hot tub smelled like straight up mold so we had to shower afterwards to get the mold smell off of us. It had no chemicals in it what so ever. Also it only had one window unit in the bedroom so the living room and kitchen was hot. It was disappointing so we left a day early. I would not recommend to my family or friends.

Honest Constructive Review
This stay overall wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best. Prior to arrival I got a call to confirm details and he’d asked what vehicle we would have due to the harsh road conditions leading to the cabin. No exaggeration if you don’t have a truck or suv this property won’t be accessible for you so keep that in mind. Secondly upon arrival the key was easy to access. The cabin had an odd stale smell throughout and the place was clean enough but definitely areas to improve on as the place was not immaculately clean, lots of dust and older grime visible. Areas of the cabin were more of less falling apart such as the ceiling and some wood paneling. Huge safety hazard with the bath rug in the bathroom as well as the rug in the bedroom, they are on hard surfaces with no grip mat under the mats so they slip out from under you so the fall risk was definitely there, almost injured myself as well as my husband. There was no WiFi which I would think would be available as the service up the mountain is spotty, no cable tv either, outdated televisions, tube tv with a vcr built in and we only access to old dvds. Also, no small touch of hospitality such as a small welcome pack or goodies for the guest.
Positives was the location super close to plazas and the Luray caverns and some short hikes, the hot tub was the saving grace of this place as well as the fire pit. Honestly without those two this place would have been a total miss. For the pricing of the property I’d think some of the cons would be bare minimum for a vacation rental property.
Loved the peacefulness, very clean! Comfy bed, did not want to leave! Road was rough at parts, but I'll be bringing 4 wheel drive, the next time we stay!
