Perfect for a quick trip

The unit was very clean. Walk to beach wasn't bad at all. Would stay here again. Everything we needed was in the unit. If you like quiet time this is the place to be.

April 2024 Stay

We had a wonderful time during our 10-day trip to Jekyll Island. We were very happy with our clean and comfortable accommodations at Atlantic Breeze 5. Loved the easy access to the beach and bike trail. Great Location and Peaceful place to stay

We had a great time on the island. The place is easy to find and was clean and tidy when we arrived. No communication was needed during the stay. Location is fantastic. Close to the beach and easy walk to everywhere we needed to go. Great place to chill out. We will be back

Jekyll Island visit

Property was clean, within walking distance of beach and very spacious. However this property is very outdated, the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. There was no outside lighting which made it difficult when climbing the stairs in the evening. It meets your basic needs but I would probably look for something nicer if we return.

I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment. No ocean view, but it was just a short walk to the sand. Manager was quick to respond to our only concern. Great vacation and would rent again.

July 2023 Stay

We’ve been been coming to Jekyll several times a year for the past 15 years. Stayed lots of places on the island. This is our first time staying at Atlantic Breeze #5. We LOVED it! Clean, spacious and perfect location. Close to everything. We are avid tennis players. Best place to stay to get to the courts and to everywhere else on the island. A true hidden gem. We will make this our new favorite place to stay. Can’t wait to come back.

July 2022 Stay

Overall the stay met our basic needs (ie. Beds, showers, kitchen, entertainment). However, Atlantic Breeze #5 is in desperate need of updating. I’m the living room the AC vents have what seems to be black mold. One instance there were German roaches in the kitchen. The entire unit smelled of sewage, strongest smell in the king bedroom’s connected bathroom. There was a wasp nest in the light fixture on the balcony; one call to the office and someone was there the next day to remove. The welcome bag came with dishwasher tablets but the unit does not have a dishwasher. Like I said overall it met our basic needs but for the price, amenities should match. Would recommend but be mindful you are staying in an outdated unit and may experience issues if in fact that is black mold around the vents.

Jekyll Realty was responsive and we had a little welcome bag with sponge, paper towels, garbage bag and dish detergent. No dish washer but not a big deal. Master bed mattress was pretty thin but we got used to it. I would definitely stay here again.

April 2021 Stay

We enjoyed our two-week stay at Atlantic Breezes #5. The unit is comfortable, clean and well-located near the beach and on the bike path. Beds and furniture have been updated since past reviews. Everything was in good repair. A kitchen light burned out during our stay and Jekyll Realty addressed and fixed the issue within a few hours. The short walk to the beach each morning was beautiful and the balcony on our unit was a shady pleasure on hot afternoons. We enjoyed using the pool pass that was included with our rental at a local hotel. We recommend Jekyll Realty and would be happy to return to this unit.

It suited us fine. Super clean. Beds super hard and uncomfortable. Needs a dishwasher. Stop at Walmart to shop before you get on the island.

Jekyll Island Get-a-way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented through Jekyll Realty many times, this was the first time renting at Atlantic Breeze. We were very happy with the size and location of the apartment and the price was reasonable. It could use some upgrades to furniture and mattress, but it gave us exactly what we needed peace, quiet and a beautiful Island to experience.The folks at Jekyll Island Reality were dealing with problems from the hurricane aftermath so we didn’t expect a lot of attention. They worked with us to adjust our week after power and water were restored.The Island itself is a remarkable place, always something new to enjoy. Since we were there to rest we never left the Island all week, just walked everyday. For our 50th anniversary we went to Tortuga Jack’s, fast service, good food and beautiful view. We can’t wait for our next visit.
