Black Bear Haus is a lovely remodeled cabin on Tahoe's West Shore. Sunny and Bright, this cute little house is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Beautiful leather furniture and a 55-inch TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. Several stairs down from parking to front door. Tastefully decorated with an open floor plan. Very homey with a new king mattress as of May 2024. Sunny patio with 4 chairs and a round table, a chaise lounge chair on the front deck, and a propane BBQ. The bathroom is also completely remodeled with a nice new tub and granite tile. Very tastefully decorated!

Enjoy the hot tub on the back deck! Gas fireplace and wireless internet. High-efficiency washer and dryer down the interior stairs and to the left.

There are approximately 13 stairs from the parking area down to the cabin - not wheelchair accessible. Garage not accessible for renters.

Please note: Homeowner or guest of owner may occasionally use the apartment below the garage, away from the main house, with separate entrance and no interruption to you and your vacation.

•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.

Amazing and Peaceful Property

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. Home was amazing. Scenery was stunning and neighborhood was so peaceful. I recommend this property to any couple looking to just get away or celebrate something.

Cozy little cabin for 2

My husband and I stayed here in January and loved it. The house was the perfect winter escape for us. We were even able to easily walk down the hill to the various restaurants and market on the main road. We would stay here again for sure.

Cute cabin!

We loved our stay at the Black Bear Haus as a newly engaged couple! Cute, cozy, and the hot tub was a definite plus after hiking around Lake Tahoe. Would definitely stay again!

Everything Great (but the bed)

Rooney Ski Vacation 2023

The property was absolutely awesome. The rental was very spacious and very well stocked. The private hot tub was so nice to relax in at the end of a long day. Numerous hiking trails within walking distance, nice restaurant options nearby. Soaking in the hot tub after a day of snowshoeing was wonderful! The house is nicely appointed with plenty of comfortable seating. Very private location and the house was spotless. Uber fast wi-fi. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. Our only suggestion would be a new mattress as the existing one has divots and is not very comfortable. Otherwise would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!!

It was a beautiful place to stay. We took our bikes and rode from the house to Palisades and back. It’s close to the bike trail. After we went in the hot tub. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the place and would love to come back sometime.

Perfect!

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. It was spotless, beautiful and a great location, wish we could’ve stayed a week! Loved seeing all the birds at the feeder out the front window also. If we ever come back to Tahoe we will stay here again for sure.
