Lovely cabin in Broken Bow
Gorgeous cabin with a lot to do on property and located near some fun activities near Broken Bow and Hochatown. Stayed with 10 people total and we had plenty of space for all of us. The creek and trails behind the cabin were fun to explore. The host is so friendly and responds quickly. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wonderful Cabin
The cabin was clean, spacious, and beautiful. It was on 23 acres with a creek running through it. Very secluded but close enough to the lake. My family was happy at the cabin with the creek and the big deck to enjoy without going into town.

Great family cabin
My extended family loved this house and the kids are already asking when we can go back. The seclusion and creek running near the house makes it a peaceful escape. The 4 king beds with private baths is an excellent set up for mutliple families with children. It had everything we needed!

Spring Break Fun
Our stay at Big Moose Lodge was great! The land around the Lodge was beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed all the hiking trails and our kids enjoyed playing in the creek. Campfires were made at night along with many smores. The kids loved having scavenger hunts and playing games with the family. We are already planning our next trip there.

Fun Family Times!
This place has everything you need! The beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy or you can relax in the hot tub. You are right on the creek and if you walk to the left, there is a deep crystal clear swimming hole. Kids had so much fun jumping off of the cliff and into the water. Bring water shoes if you decide to go down to the creek and you’ll be able to walk for miles. There are no neighbors so you have the place to yourselves!

Relaxing, peaceful property
Very nice cabin that makes a great getaway from the busyness of the outside world. It is pretty isolated so be aware there are several miles of dirt roads to reach it and no cell service at the cabin. There was wifi however. Loved the coziness of the cabin and amenities

Broken Bow
We had a great time at the Big Moose Lodge just out of Broken Bow Oklahoma. Cabin isSpacious, well furnished tho at nearly 70 yrs young I would have appreciated a recliner. The place was clean, kitchen had all things needed. The outdoor area well maintained and good seating/play area. Trails a bonus. The creek is just wonderful, so much natural beauty at every direction. No close neighbors made it even better, peaceful/serene.Great choice for adults or families who enjoy the outdoors.

Home away from home
Excellent stay. We will be returning We saw deer, turkey, coyote and birds. Also hiked trails, swam in the creek, ziplined and rode horseback at local sites and played many games on property with a large family. We enjoyed the pit for bone fires outside. Excellent vacation.

Family Vacation
Great place to stay, even had a friendly neighborhood dog. The place is wonderful and is large enough to where you don't feel like you are on top of everybody. It is time for a maintenance overhaul on the place. The stream in the back is a wonderful addition to the house. Watch out for snakes though. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful, spacious cabin and outside natural areas.
The property and the house were beautiful. The open dining/living area was spacious and had a beautiful view with the large windows. The long dining tables were perfect for the size of our group of 9 adults, 1 teenager, 2 middle school kids, and 3 preschool. The bedrooms were comfortable, each having a large bathroom. We did bring extra sleeping beds for the toddlers, which helped. The creek along side the cabin was relaxing, and the trails gave both adults and kids plenty of room to roam and experience nature at its best. The fire ring area was a nice area for the group to relax, and the hot tub was used frequently. There were plenty of dishes and glasses/cups. The can openers weren't easy to use and knives were dull. Fortunately, we brought additional kitchen appliances and utensils. The mattress in the bedroom with the walk-in shower did seem to be breaking down which made us have to sleep in the middle of the bed to keep from rolling off the sides. The biggest issue was the strong smell of sewer gases outside which did affect the enjoyment of being out outside close to the house, around the playground equipment and the fire ring. Unfortunately that smell did affect our outside enjoyment and we only were able to use it when the wind was blowing the smell away from us. I believe that issue can be addressed however. Overall, a beautiful cabin, outside area that was very relaxing and enjoyed by all ages.

Great cabin for a family getaway
The cabin is amazing! The creek right behind the place was so much fun. We went fishing and walked the trails a couple times. This place is not easy to get to, if you don't mind driving on a rough and bumpy gravel road then go for it. This caused us to change our plans to go out to eat or go into town as often as we would have liked. Also make sure you have a lot of bottled water before you get there! There is no filtered water, only tap from well water which was super smelly. The place also has a septic tank sprinkler system that goes off a couple times a day so it smells when you go outside for about hour or so.

Fall family getaway
My family and I come to broken bow every year before thanksgiving, so we’ve stayed at a lot of cabins. Plenty of room here, the property is gorgeous. We loved the layout of the bedrooms and the outside access from one of them was a plus. 2 of the 4 bedrooms had tvs. The loft got really hot when the heater was on. We thought the game room would better serve as the bunk room, so the kids could close the door. The loft would be a great place for a play room! It took about 6-8 miles to get there from the main road, the gravel road was rough on my little suv so we didn’t leave the property once we got there. We enjoyed the hiking trails, the hot tub, and the fire pit . We would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to book again!

Perfect Family Getaway
My family had a blast at this cabin for the weekend! We came during the fall, so it was chilly and the leaves were turning - it was so beautiful. Outside we were able to "hike" the trails on site, play in the creek, enjoy smores around the fire, play on the playground, sit on the porch & take in the beautiful views, and soak in the hot tub. Inside there was plenty of room for our 4 families (7 adults, 4 kids) to eat, hang out, and sleep. The cabin itself is beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed for cooking. There also is a handicapped accessible room which was amazing for my grandparents! It included its own ramp entrance from the driveway. It is definitely secluded, so cell service was limited but the wifi got us the info we needed while we were there. It was so refreshing to have a house of adults and teenagers NOT be on their phones all weekend :) The drive into the cabin from the main road is long and graveled, so we went with the intention of staying put once we got there. Our Apple Maps also told us to make a wrong turn onto some company's property so I would definitely reach out beforehand just to make sure you know where you're going before you get out there with limited signal!

Cabin on creek
1. Called upon arrival and no one ever called us. Directions from the logging road no gps. Very rough. Roads are very rough either way 2. No one ever returned my call A neighbor finally came along and said go up the road 3. Dirty. Dust bunnies on floors. Cob webs on fans. Spider web with spider above master bath tub 4. No real internet service nor much of a tv service Some calls went out some did not 5. Cabin was big accommodate numbers it says. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen open No ice cause refrigerator not hooked up to water line. 6. The creek was beautiful and running Sound was lovely If you want to be out away from everyone and everything it is ok But if you need to find it. Best road is from hwy 259 Trails are ok and it is definitely away from everything

Disaster
If i would have known about the 6 miles on none road to get to this property, i would have never booked it. As it stands, i will spend more money repairing my 300k motor home, and my vehicles than i paid for renting this property. The house was nice and very wooded but getting in and out is another story. We got in barely but getting out the motor home got stuck in a ditch. Luckily very nice contractors came by to help get us out but the damage was already done. It’s at the dealer getting fixed now so we’ll see what the bill is. After several weeks and 3 detail cleanings of my cars, i still cannot get the dirt and dust out. There was never ANY mention about these conditions. Very misrepresented.. i will never rent from them again.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! Things I wish I had known before booking
Overall, the house and creek bed were great. Very spacious and well maintained. What I wish was told to us before we booked was that the property is 6 miles off the main road. 6 miles of logging roads! This means it was 15 min each way every time we wanted to even just get to the main drag, plus another 10-15 min to get to a store or park. We did a lot of driving. Because the roads were so bad, we had to replace a busted tire, and now have to take our fairly new van in for service because either the excessive dust clogged a sensor or a rock knocked something. THERE IS NO CELL PHONE SERVICE! Which for some people, might be fine, but just be aware, you will get no service. This would have been fine if the Wifi worked properly. It did not. We could only get basic texts to go through, no calls. No emails, no streaming music, no streaming shows, and we had a person that had prepared to work remotely while we were there, and they were totally not able to . So if you want seclusion and no way for the outside world to get ahold of you, then this place is perfect. The creek was so much fun for our kids to play in. The host did not start the trip off on a good foot as she basically accused us of doing something wrong, because we stayed outside of the property waiting for the cleaners to be done so we could get our early check in. What we did not know when we intended to just drop our trailer off and wait for check in while exploring the town, was that we would have no cell phone service, and we were already pretty lost trying to find the property, and no way of finding our way back out since we couldn't look anything up on the map. She also had agreed to a later check out, but then took it back, even though I had the agreement in writing. I enjoyed the area, but I would not stay at this property again.
