NOT whole house. You are renting One ensuite Queen bedroom available in a 2-story brick home in a very nice neighborhood near bike trails at Imagination Glen Park which is 3 min away by bike or 15 walk. Live TV, coffee/tea maker, mini- fridge, microwave in hallway.
Safari decor, very nice neighborhood, hosts staying in the house. Bedroom has it's own private bathroom (ensuite) attached with shower, toilet, sink and tub.
Large chest of drawers available to use. Clothing rack with hangars and baskets. Windows look out to street. Windows can open. Ceiling fan, new vinyl flooring. Extra pillows blankets.

We are 20 minutes to 2 major shopping malls, 15 minutes to nearest beach, 40 minutes west to Chicago for big city life, 40 min east to Michigan for wineries, small town shopping, antiques, casinos & surfing, 15 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park with beach, lifeguards, food, 2 minutes from Zip foods and Dollar Store and many restaurants in town. Food deliveries available from a few restaurants. Quiet suburban neighborhood .

I grew up in Portage and was born in Gary, Indiana. I am a Former ballroom dance and yoga instructor turned Vrbo and Airbnb SuperHost and I do Online Reselling. My husband is an instrument technician/electrician. We love movies, traveling, our 3 silly cats, football, baseball, hockey, and dinner out with a few good friends. After a long day of work we enjoy just plopping on the couch with our cats and catching up on some shows. My husband , Mike, is happy with chips and a dark beer. Me? I’m a Moscato girl but I have to have my popcorn too. We are always doing something, never a dull moment, but it’s nice to be that way because then you stay young, at least at heart.
Why they chose this property
We bought this lot to build this house because of the great view of the woods and no one can build behind us. It is a quiet neighborhood as well. We can walk to the Imagination Glen Park which has a very nice trail for walking or biking or we can walk around our neighborhood and the neighborhood next to us since they are connected. We feel safe here and the neighbors are very friendly.
What makes this property unique
For guests, it’s like you have a hotel room that is very private. The queen ensuite guest room is on the top level across a bridge so it is a very private room. We have another bedroom you can rent as well on a separate listing. It’s our dream home because of the great features that we have an attached bathroom in every bedroom. Our house has a total of 5 bathrooms which makes it very convenient & more comfortable for guests. You will never have to share a bathroom with other guests. We are close to the toll road I-80 and highway I-94, so it’s easy to find us and to get where you want to go quickly. We are also only about 4 miles from the South Shore Train Station, and 15 min to the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks. There is a Zip Foods Convenience Store, Dollar Store & a gas station only 2 min away from us.
