Renovated one bedroom, two bath ocean view fourth floor condo. Stainless steel kitchen appliances. Air conditioning in living room and bedroom. Condo has a queen size bed and a sofa sleeper. Remodeled bathrooms feature tiled showers, no tub. Good walking, windsurfing, kitesurfing beach fronts this oceanfront condo complex in North Kihei. A couple of minutes away from Kamaole Beach I, one of the great beaches on the sunny South shore. Complimentary wifi in room and at the pool. Gym on property.

Very nice grounds
The condo was good as expected. Small, but it was just me, so OK. The Ground are maintained perfectly. The lawn is so beautiful. The grills, (though I did not use them), were deep cleaned every day. The pool was nice. The views of Maui's mountains and sunset are really nice. I thought my bedroom was small, but again it was only me. The 2 bathrooms are also small. I was happy to sit on the balcony and work every day. Easy access to Kikei and Wailea, and 20 minutes to the airport. Overall, i give it a high 4 out of 5. If I chose to spend 3X at Grand Wailea, then I would expect all to be perfect.

Pleasant Stay, Well equipped condo
I would stay there again. Nice grounds right off beach, location in Kihei is great, condo is comfortable. Though, I could see where the bedroom would be very warm in summer season in spite of its small AC unit. Close to the super good restaurant "Da Kitchen" www {dot} dakitchenkihei {dot} com (a must visit) and many other restaurants and food trucks. Also convenient 24 hr Longs for food, wine, beer, liquor and drug store items. Condo was worth the money over the Wyndham- Days Inn down the road for similar price during my stay.

Maui Sunset condo
We had a wonderful visit at Maui Sunset. The grounds and pool were beautiful and very well kept. The condo was nice and clean but needs a little upgrade to the A/C. We enjoyed staying in Kihei with plenty of fun on the beach and great restaurants to enjoy! We hope to return soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so thankful to be moved from our first room to a new condo. Wendi is amazing! 409B was great! Very dated furnishings, however, we weren't there for the condo, we wanted a great view and that's what we got. Staff needed to lighten up on security. Masks are mandated, but, rudeness is not. I wish we had more laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, and TP. However, with costco and walmart fairly close, we made it work. Loved the showers and kitchen. Beware the A/C going out - you'll have to switch the breaker!

We have stayed here before and had a great experience. Unfortunately when we arrived our condo was not clean. Dirt on the floor, coffee grounds on the counter, soap scum caked on the shower glass, dirty Q-tip on floor, mirror were dirty and other small issues. Management was responsive in that they offered to have someone come clean, but I had already taken care of things. They also refunded us the cleaning fee and one nights stay. I felt this was fair, but would have much rather had a clean condo to start with. Overall the stay was good, we were in Maui after all! The grounds were impeccable! I would recommend Maui Sunset and I am sure management will address the cleaning issue. Enjoy!

Reviewer Comments: Rental Experiance very professional from Kumulani Vacarions and they were very helpful in the whole rental experiance..The unit was clean in a good location half in the middle of the building a little ocean view and enjoyed listening to the kids on the grass and the bbqers chatting it up cooking their dinners.. The only complaints I had would be the beds very uncomfortable.... seems to be a problem in most units...and the lack of cleaning supplies made available in the unit. My advice for the owners to keep the supplies in the unit it would benefit them more then the renters as a renter I tend to clean if the supplies are there. The Maui Sunset is an amazing condo complex with the grounds be beautiful and the pool a very nice size. Please keep in m8nd this is an older building so may be lacking in modern looks for some

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was not a complete remodel. The furnishings were dated from the 1980/90's. The glass shower doors were so dirty from soap scum you could not see through the glass. All the house throw rugs were dirty and had not been washed or vacuumed in what looked like many users. there was no laundry soap provided and they asked us to do laundry upon check out. there was so much hair on the floor in the master bedroom it was blowing around with the ceiling fan and I had to clean the apartment floors upon check in. They did refund $125 cleaning fee and brought laundry detergent after requesting.

Great 25th Anniversary Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were married on the grass near the beach 25 years ago, so we wanted to "return to the scene of the crime". The rental agency accurately described the room and amenities, it was clean, and hasn't changed much since 25 yrs ago (but that's good!) except the room is remodeled. A good location to do all the activities on Maui, we did a whale watch, Haleakala tour, Hana Rd tour, dinner cruise, and had our 25th anniversary dinner at Mama's Fish House - yum!

We arrived late, after the front office was closed so while we were trying to figure out how to get the apartment key from a lock box, a wonderful on-site security guard came by & help us and get our key. The apartment was exceptionally clean and quite. Loved the swimming pool and barbecue grills, extremely clean; staff cleans them every morning. Beautiful ocean view; so relaxing watching the sunset over drinks and having breakfast on the patio. Enjoyed our stayed very much.

The room was not very clean,the bedrooms were awful. No A/C in master bedroom only a fan. The bathrooms are in urgent need of repair and replacement. The sofa was old and very uncomfortable. We were very disappointed in this room and would NOT recommend it.
