Disappointed
The beds were horribly hard and no matter which way you turn you have spring in your back. Ended up sleeping on the floor. The bathroom had water leaking from the ceiling and the walls, the flooors were soft from water. The freezer took a day and a 1/2 to We sent pictures to the property manager and they said we would get a discount for our problems, but we never got that the mate this person came and said they're gonna have to have a plumber, come in and picks everything they couldn't do anything right now and they'd let the property manager. Know. They also said the freezer, the LG that she's gone and I have to get some information and fix it. Herself once againfreeze some bottles of water, theyshook old.

Not what as expected
Internet wasn’t working which resulted in not able to watch tv, bathroom sink in the downstairs bedroom was leaking, there was a razor on the window sill which tells me the bathroom was poorly cleaned, dead bugs on the floor in the living room.

Great location
Overall a great place to stay and good value for the price. Beds were uncomfortable, that’s our only complaint.

Great location, but dated and damaged
Awesome location in the Government Camp loop and big enough to accommodate several families. The photos are a bit deceiving though; this place is very dated and has some wear and tear to it. When we arrived there was a shelf dangling from the wall, but other than that everything was functional and fine. But just stuff like torn wallpaper, creeky doors/floors, temperamental water, etc. Good spot for what it is, but was way more expensive than it should have been for a weekend in non-ski season in my opinion.

Listing is inaccurate
This space was perfectly fine for a family or small group but not for a party of 12. The listing states there are 4 bedrooms when there are 3. The fourth bedroom is just a bed in the “loft” of the third bedroom. I truly don’t understand the reviews which describe this place as roomy for a large group. We had 7 people and felt very cramped, especially in the living room and kitchen areas. We tried to give this feedback to Vacasa but it was not received. If you are just going to sleep in this space, it’s adequate. If you want to hang out at the house or be outside and you have more than 6 people, I would look elsewhere.

Great place!
It was very roomy and had everything we needed. It would have been awesome for large groups (multiple bedrooms on multiple floors and who doesn’t love lofts?) but also great for any family. Cute decor and very close to mountain and town. Definitely worth it to have a great time.

Poorly maintained and stocked…bring everything you will need with you
Our stay started with the key code not working. After making multiple attempts we realized that the home was unlocked. We never got a key. The instructions on the fridge said we needed parking passes to park in the lot. There were none. Fortunately we did not get ticketed or towed. We had a party of 8 for three days but were left with 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, enough dishwasher soap for two loads, and no laundry detergent to wash towels. There were NO pot holders in the kitchen so we had to use bath towels to take things out of the oven and place on the table. We have a large family and often rent homes for vacation but We will not be staying there again.

Needs work
Unfortunately this condo was quite dirty and outdated. Needs improvements to the dryer vent, old furniture and carpet, small kitchen with random and disorganized items, garbage can broken, just to name a few. Feels like your in a cave, which on the plus side was helpful during the hot summer.

Bad Experience/ Una Mala Experiencia
If you are looking for comfortable beds, this is the place to stay. However, I did not enjoy my stay at Edelweiss Retreat. This rental has so many things that need to be fix. Most of the bedrooms' doors are detached from their frames, the furniture is very old, the carpet is full of stains, it is absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms are not very clean either, I had to called Vacasa to have the bathrooms cleaned. One of the bathroom curtain was so smelly and full of pee that I asked them to change it. We would never stay at this place again.

CAUTION!!!!
If you just want a place for a lot of people to sleep and you do not care that it smells like urine, the doors are literally falling off at the hinges, the carpet is stained and coming apart, the towels are stained, the wallpaper is peeling and there is no electricity in the upstairs bathroom, this is the place for you!! The pictures do not show the true state of this rental. It is by far the worst place we have stayed in and we've stayed in quite a few over the years. It was bad enough that our group only stayed one night (simply because it was midnight when we arrived and could not find a new place) but we left the next day rather than staying the next two days like we intended. It's probably the perfect place for a bunch of college kids who just want to party but for anyone else, I highly recommend you skip this place.

The number of beds was awesome for a large group. Free parking was a plus. It's an older unit and shows a bit of wear and tear. You hear constant road noise through the windows, as they are also older. Overall, decent value.

Great place for large groups!
There are plenty of beds for a large party. The free parking was great. Only two bathrooms for a large party wasn't optimal, but we made it work. The place is older showing some wear and tear, but liveable. The road noise is heard all night long through the older windows. Grocery store, bars and restaurants are all walkable. It was a good value and suited our purpose.

Great location
This property is in need of some updates but we still found it cozy and adequate. The location is great-right at the east end of town. It’s unfortunate that there are so many additional “fees” tacked on that the price advertised on VRBO is about half of what we ended up paying.

Great Place
There is a ton of room in this amazing cozy apartment. Its nice and warm, and everything functions great. The carpet is a little run down, but that is because of the pet policy and our friend's dog didn't seem to mind. It would be great if the kitchen area has a light over the stove cos it was dark in that area. Overall, a good stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Mt. Hood in Oregon
We were a group of 9. The Edelweiss Retreat Center was good for us. In the night time and early morning the H-26 was a bit noisy but other services compensated well. If you wanna visit Mt. Hood, you wanna stay at the Government Camp. You got to drive around and see many lakes and places. If you are a large group like 8 to 10, This place is good choice for you.

Lots of Beds, needs an update
This unit is fine for a big group that wants to ski all day and needs a bunch of places to sleep. More beds than comfortable places to sit or eat at (Ie beds for 10-12, but table accommodates 4, and the LR has seating for 5-6 - not well laid out). Everything inside was 'ok' - not real nice, not real new, but not real awful either. Kids liked the bunk room, and adjoined loft bed. Adults were happy the kids were happy, but this place looks as if it has not had money spent on the interior in a long, long time. Road noise from hwy 26 was constant if bedroom window was open, not a bit deal but this does back up to 26. Bit of a hassle finding the unit (more our problem than Vacasa's). Parking lot well maintained/plowed - made it easy to get in/out. Dog friendly. all in all an OK place, but not great.

Good value for the money.
Stayed with my son and his friends from college - 9 people total. Good overall value go sleeping arrangements. Kitchen is poorly equipped for large crowd cooking (bring own cookware) and table seating for eating is limited to 4. Location is convenient to Gov't camp restaurants and to ski resorts.
