The property was located near the Tucson Mountains, but with easy access to I-10, making it beautiful and convenient. Plenty of room. Great amenities and a great kitchen. Truly a home away from home.
We had such an enjoyable time staying in this home! It was so relaxing and peaceful on the outskirts of the city. We would definitely stay there again!
I came back to town to take care of affairs for my parents who recently passed. The house is in a great location for convenience to shopping, gas and food places, the Saguaro National Monument, and I-10. The rooms and bathrooms are a great size, and kitchen and living space very comfortable.
We had a very nice stay! The owner responded quickly and was very helpful when we had a concern with the TV. Lovely neighborhood that we enjoyed walking around. Easy check in and check out. Very comfortable rocker recliners. Large bedrooms. Thanks!
We enjoyed this location. The rental was clean and comfortable. Its proximity to Saguaro National Park West and Tucson Mountain Park was great for us. The owner was very responsive to questions and requests. The only drawback was that the owner's home is upstairs and the sound of footsteps above really came through.

Good location
Convenient, quiet place to stay while visiting the Tuscon area. Great location for entrance to Saguaro West ( much better than Saguaro East) on Golden Gate Road, which is a great way to see the park if you have an SUV or car with reasonably high clearance. My husband found the bed a little stiff, but it was fine for me. Good shower, plenty of room. On a warm day it was nice to sit out back. A gas grill would have been nice for barbecuing. We visited the Pima Air & Space Museum, drove up Mt. Lemmon, had great Mexican food at El Charro in Tucson, enjoyed the Sonora Desert Museum, Biosphere 2, and DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun. We would stay here again.
We are a retired couple who stayed 8 nights at this property. We found it to be 1. Comfortable and relaxing, 2. Quiet, 3. Clean, 4. Well-maintained, 5. Equipped well for a small family, 6. Having laundry available was a big plus, 7. Property manager was very helpful with the original booking and with our stay, 8. Suburban location. This is a good place to stay if you are looking for these qualities in a vacation rental.
The property was perfect for our stay of 5 nights..

Great location, very quiet
We had a great stay in Marana, as it was close to Tucson, but still very quiet and private. The separate apartment had most everything we needed. The listing did say it had a DVD player, so I brought plenty of movies for us to watch. I was disappointed one wasn't provided. Also, the hair dryer didn't work. The whole space just needs a bit of updating. Other than that, though, we had everything we needed. It was a great space for three women visiting Tucson!

Great place to explore from.
We rented the place for two weeks and were always out and about. So much to see and do in the Tucson area. The bed was great, such an important part of a rental.

Lovely desert location away from the hub bub of congestion and traffic.
The master suite and bed was comfortable. Desk in master bedroom was perfect "office" space. Very nice home -- farther from Convention Center than expected. Enjoyed the coyote chorus, wildlife sighting and the scenic vistas. Tripped and fell on the ledge between driveway and concrete transition...would be helpfult to have motion sensor lights at night.
Jill was on the spot providing a mattress pad for one of the twin beds. It did help somewhat but the bed was still too firm for comfort. Jill was super accomodating in helping me locate my laptop cover that I was unable to find. I sent her a Fed Ex label and she will be sending it back shortly. Kitchen fully equipped, all appliances in working order and lots of left over spices from other happy guests were available. She's a lovely homeowner and I am happy I found her.

This is the perfect location for s peaceful Tucson vacation.
Four of us stayed in this peaceful Tucson home for several days in February 2016. It has two full bedrooms and baths so we had plenty of room. The homeowner lives above the rental unit so if there are problems, she is accessible. Upon arrival we were met by Jill, the owner, who gave us a bottle of wine and showed us through the property. If you are looking for a house in the middle of the action, this home is not for you. If you want to be on the edge of town, have a lovely but shaded outdoor patio, be able to watch nature then you will love this location as much as we did. We could easily get anywhere we wanted from this location.

Great space, roomy and family friendly!
We were in Tucson to visit my mother-in-law and needed an affordable place that would accommodate us and our 2 adult sons, nearby her location. We wouldn’t be spending a lot of time wherever we wound up, so this was perfect for us. You are staying in the basement level of Jill’s home which is a private apartment. Jill is a great hostess and stayed up to greet us and show us around, even though we were delayed and got in late. The apartment is roomy, clean and comfortable with a complete kitchen, living/dining area, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Plenty of dresser and closet space if you are planning to stay a bit. What time we were there, we enjoyed the back porch, the stars and sleeping with open windows to hear the coyotes and catch the desert breezes. We also got to see javelina! We wish we could have taken advantage of the books and games, but did enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine! The only thing I would mention is that the bed in the master bedroom is extra firm. This may be great for some, but I have a back issue and can’t go quite so firm. We wound up sleeping in the twin beds in the other room… one of which worked out for me. Our fault really – we should have thought to ask, but wound up being fine as one son claimed the master and the other took up residence on the sofa for the evening. Jill is conscientious about noise level from upstairs - only heard things a few times so you don't feel like you are actively in someone's house. Appreciated all the attention to details, fresh flowers, coffee and again, the wonderful bottle of wine!
