Please keep in mind, during Summer months (Peak Season) I book back to back to avoid one night gaps.

My home is ideal for families of Six (4 adults Max plus two kids) or 4 adults (couples).
I love hosting doggos and the pet fee is per Dog, maximum 2.

My home is nestled in the quiet, serene forest across from one of the best surfing beaches in Canada, Cox Bay. It is an 8 minute walk to the beach and a quick bicycle ride to Chesterman Beach and a 7 minute drive into town.
West Coast Hideaway is a beautiful two story home that fits in with it's natural setting. Board and Batton cover the outside giving it a "cottage" look. With expansive windows on the main floor as well as skylights, it allows you the feeling of being outdoors while enjoying the comforts of indoors. With hardwood floors, and exposed beams throughout you will not be disappointed.
The Master bedroom is located on the top floor with a queen sized bed and a seating area. Your very own bathroom is also just down the hall for your convenience.
The second bedroom is located on the main floor, also with a King sized bed, and a full bathroom that looks out into the forest.
Two Trifold, memory foam, cot size mattresses are available for kids - they have their own bedding and are extremely comfy.
If it is raining outside, get cozy with the propane fireplace and throw blankets. Make yourself some tea and snacks in the beautiful large kitchen, and clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher. The kitchen is a foodie's dream. With high end appliances, lots of counter space, expansive cupboards and a concrete countertop with built in drain board next to our industrial sink, you will feel like a master chef.
A large hot tub is located on the deck to allow you to enjoy the fresh air and stars. Hooks for your towels are located on the house adjacent to the hot tub. A spa like outdoor shower is there for you to rinse prior to a hot tub or after a surf.
If you are wanting some quiet time, nap upstairs in the reading area and enjoy the scenery of old growth trees surrounding you.

I live in an adjacent suite attached to the home. Everything you see in these pictures is private and part of your home. I do share the driveway and will say hi when I see you and am happy to offer any advice and help if needed, or just give you your space.

Family Long Weekend

My daughters and I had a great time at Katrina’s home.It’s a great location and easily walkable for my morning walks with the dog. I asked my daughters as we were driving home if they would stay there on our next trip to Tofino and we all agreed we would.

A lovely stay!

The cabin was lovely, super clean with tons of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. The host was very responsive and check-in instructions were clear and easy. Great location close to town and beaches. I would certainly recommend.

Beautiful spring break retreat!

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! There was more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—just a short walk or bike ride to Cox Bay and only a five-minute drive to downtown Tofino. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy the area. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Little House

Finding a pet-friendly place to stay can be quite a chore especially in a vacation oriented area. I was very happy to find this perfect-for-our-family home. It is an easy walk to Cox Bay Beach and not far to Chesterman Beach. Tucked away in the woods, it's a perfect location for a quiet getaway. We are a family of 4 with a dog in tow. We fit comfortably in the house. The owners clearly thought of all the little details with a well-stocked kitchen, bathroom supplies, extra blankets and pillows. The heated floors in the bathrooms was a real treat. The only negative and it's quite minor was that for the first 2 days, the wifi was a bit iffy. We were on vacation so that didn't matter quite so much. All in all it was a great place to spend a few days while visiting Tofino.

Beautiful Home and Location

Great property - short drive to Tofino and Ukee. Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful surroundings. Fire pit and hot tub were fantastic after a day at the beach. The hosts were always available when needed. The heated bathroom floors were a fun bonus! We will be back for sure :)

End of summer

Perfect property for four adults and our two pups. We had a great time visiting our favourite places in Tofino and we are looking forward to our next trip. Katrina and Jeremy were very welcoming and met us when we arrived gave us a quick rundown of the property and where to find everything etc. The house was very clean and comfortable and we will definitely look to rebook here again.

Beautiful functional space with great features

This is a beautifully curated, roomy space with so many attractive features. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was very functional with all necessary cooking equipment. The friendly owners provided clear and helpful guides for how to use everything in the house, including the wonderful hot tub in the lovely outdoor area, as well as tips and descriptions of various food and activity options around the area. It’s an easy walk to Cox Bay beach and less than ten minutes’ drive to town. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this property.

A Piece of Tofino Heaven

Perfect location, every detail was as indicated in the listing. Katrina went out of her way to answer any questions and help us sort out alternative travel arrangements due to the road closure from wildfire. The house was so cozy and well-equipped!

Wonderful getaway!

We spent 4 nights in this lovely cottage and had a fabulous time. Communication with the owners was seamless. Katrina was very friendly and helpful but also very respectful of our privacy. The cottage was lovely with great touches such as interesting artwork, surfboards on the walls and great light fixtures. We loved the fact that we were able to bring our dog and cox beach was an easily accessible walk of under 10 minutes. The outdoor area of hot tub, shower and fire pit were well designed maximizing privacy and surrounded by forest. Thank you Katrina and Jeremy! You have a wonderful place and we hope to be able to return!

Excellent Stay!

We had a great time at the house, despite much more snow than we were expecting for a weekend away. The house was well-appointed. We did lots of cooking and were never missing any particular kitchen tools. The decor was beautiful and the hot tub was sublime. Watching the snow fall from the tub was a particular treat. The hosts were fantastic. They'd check on us to make sure we had what we needed, but were never intrusive. So lovely. We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much Katrina, Jeremy, and Carlos!

Cozy, Funky, West Coast Feel

Katrina andJeremy have have captured the west coast feel with their cozy vacation home in the forest. It was an integral part of creating some fantastic Tofino specific memories. We’ll be back, and next time I’m going to learn to surf!

My name is Katrina and my dream came true when I moved to Tofino 10 years ago. I am from the Vancouver area, and Tofino has had a special place in my heart for a long time. I am an avid surfer, and love Tofino and everything it has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This property was such a dream and a welcomed surprise. It is perfect. I love the setting, and how it is immersed in nature. It is walking distance to one of the best surfing beaches in Canada, and the house is beautifully built and complements its surroundings. I have amazing neighbours and the property is in the perfect spot close to beaches for walks and surfing.

What makes this property unique

From the larger than life windows, to the exposed beams throughout, to the hardwood floors, this house is beautiful. It allows you the comforts of cozying up by the fire while watching the rain come down amongst the trees, or curling up with a book and feeling like you are in nature. You can stargaze from the comfort of the hot tub surrounded by tall trees, and listen to the waves. We are only a 7 minute drive from downtown, but it is nice to come home and have quiet, and listen to the birds and the beach. Cox bay is a 5 minute walk, so very quick and easy access to the beach, as well as a paved bike path at the driveway that leads all of the way into town and now down to Long Beach located in the Provincial Park. It is close to downtown, but far enough away for rest and relaxation.
