Our family loved spending Christmas in this cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and the interior was beautuful. The shower was not tall enough, so taking a shower was a little tricky, but we made it work. The location is nice, but the drive is a little bumpy.
This property is absolutely beautiful and extremely well maintained. The wonderful hosts have done everything to ensure that there is a cozy touch in every detail. There is significant damage in the area from the fire and floods, which was sad to see, but we were so happy to be able to be back in Ruidoso and to see our family that lives there. We will certainly stay here again in the future when we return to this wonderful community. Highly recommend.
This was my first Vrbo experience. Nice cabin in a convenient location. Wonderful deck with comfortable wicker chairs was a highlight. Very well equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed 4 days in this cozy cabin in the trees. The cabin was perfect for relaxing on the deck and watching the hummingbirds and deer. The owner was great to communicate quickly when needed.
Excellent stay. Loved the location. Remote enough to get away; yet 5 minutes from town. Cabin was toasty warm when we arrived and 6 deer were the welcoming committee. If we visit Ruidoso again, we’d absolutely stay here!
We enjoyed our weekend stay. Love the location, very private and peaceful.
Love the location and the size of the cabin. Great for our small dogs. The only thing is that the air conditioner wasn't working. But we enjoyed our stay overall.
Nice quiet convenient location to Midtown, and close to Alto and Winter Park. The cabin had several indoor and outdoor seating areas, with a kitchen that was fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals. The inside could use a deep cleaning and dusting.
Nice, cozy and well stocked cabin in a beautiful and quitet neighborhood
This is a very cozy and comfortable cabin in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was very well and thoughtfully stocked. The owner was very communicative and friendly. It also has a fenced backyard with a beautiful view of the mountains.
Will definitely stay again if we visit Ruidoso and this cabin is available during those days.
Talk about a great escape! Wildlife in our yard every day to include a HUGE bull elk, wild turkeys, tons of deer, and even a raccoon! This place is a must stay w all the comforts of home but none of the stress. My 11yr old son agrees…AMAZING!
Cabin was so clean, we were able to communicate with owner so simply and easily. Had eveything we needed and so very much more. Deer walking freely through the property! Hubby and I already looking into and saving into our next time!!! 🏚 💙 🦌
We loved the property and hope to stay there again in the future. What would the rate be is we wanted to book the cabin for a month in June or July of 2024? The one feedback we have is regarding the failure of previous guests to pick up after their pets on the lower level. Would suggest adding failure to clean up after the pets as a reason to forfeit their security deposit. We left some doggy waste bags in hopes it would encourage future guests to be responsible pet owners. Peace & Blessings, The Gums.

Great location....needs some updating
The location of this cabin was ideal. The kitchen was well appointed....everything you could need. The couch and loveseat in the living room need to be replaced. You sink so low you can barely get up. The bed in the master should also be replaced....it was not very comfortable. The back yard should be cleaned up. There is dog poop in one corner that has been there for weeks. It is not an inviting back yard. We loved the sitting area outside the front door. We would consider coming back if the furniture was updated.
My family and I have been visiting Ruidoso cabins for over 20 years, so it's safe to say that we have stayed in our fair share of cabins. The A-Team cabin was pleasing to the eye upon our initial arrival, however once we were settled in and took a closer look at the rooms it became obvious that the cleaning/maintenance left much to be desired. Dog hair could easily be seen on practically every surface of the cabin. The sinks, shower, shower curtain, toilet, floors and most importantly the beds all had small, dark dog hair on them and the floors appeared to have not been swept properly, if at all. My wife and I were changing the sheets in the master bedroom at 2:00 am on our initial night as the ones that were on the bed were covered in dog hair. We were lucky enough to have found a set of new sheets in the wooden living room trunk. The bed my daughter was using also had dog hair on the sheets and pillow cases, but we could not locate clean sheets for that bed. The lack of clean sheets or pillow cases made for a very unsettling stay. This is the first time that we've encountered such an unclean cabin and we were extremely disappointed, to say the least. I realize that the owner(s) is/are probably not cleaning the cabin themselves, but maybe it's time for a new cleaning crew. I urge the owner(s) to take a close look at the work the cleaning crew is doing and update some furniture (couch was stained and had a bad smell, master bed is uncomfortable and very noisy) to make this cabin getaway a truly A+ experience.

This cabin is amazing. It is very remotely located at the end of Brady Canyon. The cabin had 2 very nicely setup rooms, one sofa bed, and full kitchen with washer and dryer. The only downside was that some of the dishes were dirty and some of the towels underneath the bathroom sink were dirty and dusty as well. This was a surprise due to the high cleaning fee charged. The rooms and bed linens were clean. The fee was reasonable. The cabin is in very good condition and very well updated with technology like Wi-Fi and a smart TV. I would definitely recommend it.
We loved seeing the wild animals. Everything was a close drive near the cabin. Such as shopping, sleigh ride, snow tubing, and ice skating. We loved the cabin and it had plenty of room for all of us.
Very cute cabin with river rock fireplace! It provided everything we needed to have a great family weekend! I contacted the owner before renting just to make sure of rules and all for taking our dogs. We were very thankful for her dog-loving attitude, so we could take our dogs. It rained most of our time there, so we were thankful that most of the yard was not mud!! Just an FYI, the gate to the wrap around deck is fairly short. So you might need to bring a taller pen/gate to keep your dog from getting out. You also will need to supervise your dogs while they are in the yard and kennel them if you are away. Thanks so much for the use of your quaint cabin.
This cabin was perfect for our family!! It is more beautiful than what you see in the pictures! Very cozy and safe for our fur babies as well. Everything is fenced in, so we didn't have to worry about them getting out at any time. The deer visiting daily is a plus!! They have everything you need to have a pleasant stay and everything is close by. We will definitely stay here again!
