Located on beautiful, historic Gaston Street, this spectacular 5 bedroom home has been fully renovated top-to-bottom for a truly luxurious experience. The rich hardwood flooring, crown molding, and high ceilings are complimented with sophisticated-yet-comfortable furnishings, creating an inviting space for guests to relax. In true Savannah style, you’ll enter this home on the “second” floor to find an opening living and dining space, perfect for entertaining! The modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a conveniently located TV you can watch while cooking or enjoying your coffee. Just off of the kitchen is a sitting room with double glass doors leading to a private back porch overlooking the courtyard.

Upstairs you’ll find three roomy, bright, and stylish bedrooms. The first bedroom has a comfortable king bed and TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. With two twin beds and a chalkboard, the second bedroom is perfect for children. The shared bathroom has a glass enclosed shower and waterfall shower head. The Primary Bedroom features a King sized, four poster bed, an en suite with a shower and tub, and an envy-worthy walk-in closet. The ground floor has a separate, out door, entrance, and an interior staircase and entrance to the main floor. There are two spacious bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two twin beds, and a private living space. There is also a laundry room off of the kitchen, which has double glass doors leading to the courtyard.

Gaston House was great for our family

The house was perfect for our family stay in Savannah. The Lucky Savannah Rentals team was great to work with and were extremely responsive during our stay. We will definitely come back again to this lovely home.

Very roomy — needs fan repairs

Reviewer Comments: It was a nice house. Loved the location. Ceiling fans in 2 of the king bedrooms were loud like remote control airplanes- unable to use them . There was a floor fan in the master which led me to believe they were aware of this issue. Floor fan was shorter than the height of the bed so not a good substitute. My 28 year old daughter stayed in the bottom level king room with the other loud fan. She said it was hot down there and of course couldn’t sleep with the loud fan . There were 4 bath-cloths given for a reservation of 7 in a house that sleeps 10-12.

We rented both the upper, 3BR 2 & 1/2 Bath and the lower, 2BR 1 Bath for our group. Parking is easy, with two space, but we were able to fit 3 cars.

Great location, nice large house, nice amenities, (pillows, shower heads, shower drains underwhelming). Walkabilaty excellent, wonderful restaurants and parks. Suggest double beds instead of twins.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering house our towels for the bathrooms were left on stairs for us to divide and place in bathrooms. There are not enough hand towels in bathrooms nor hand towels in kitchen. We were also given ONE trash liner for a 3 night stay. Several guests felt their beds did not have clean sheets on them. Found particles/debris etc. on sheets.The furniture and rugs were definitely stained and dingy. The downstairs bedroom, (that faces street) was illuminated off and on all night with porch lights that came on and off every 20 mins. Bright like headlights shining in.There is a INN next door to house where guests park right by house. Can hear horns, slamming of car doors etc. The house is walking distance to several restaurants and landmarks for sightseeing. The only good thing about the stay.Unfortunately, being managed by a company and not an individual is the negative about this house.Not worth the money.

Unabl to Access Home/ Poor Customer Service

We arrived with excitement, but we left with disappointment! The property management team failed to have the home accessible upon arrival. The door to the bottom unit was locked. We contacted customer service immediately because we could not access 1/2 of the house. Their team did not come by to open the doors until the following day. Unacceptable. Some of our party were disabled. We needed access to the lower units for them. We requested some type of correction in cost from Lucky Savannah, but the team would not return our calls and did not folliw up with us at all. *Our dream trip was turned into a poor experience because of Terrible Customer Relations.

Amazing Trip & Accommodations!!

Great house

This house was great. We were in Savannah for a bachelorette party and the house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. We were 9 women and we never ran out of hot water in the showers. Location is great, we were able to walk almost everywhere. The rental company Lucky Savannah hosts this property and they were amazing to deal with. Anytime I sent a message asking about something I got a response right away. Highly recommend this property.

Great property and location

My family, age 78 to 6 years of age, thoroughly enjoyed staying at Gaston Estate over Christmas week. It is close to Forsyth Park and the Savannah historic district—great location! Parking is included which is an important amenity in Savannah. The website says space for 2 cars, but if your cars are regular size, 3 can fit. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family gathering of 8. This is our 2nd time staying there and we will definitely come back!

Issues with 6 adults

The property was on a great location, easily walkable to everywhere. However, if marketed for 6 adults, there should be comfortable inside seating for 6 (or more) adults. If not for the porch, and the extra camp chairs, we would not have been able to sit and visit as a family. Nowhere to have a meal, and no place to even set a cup of coffee. Finally, while the maintenance person was lovely, drain and toilet clogged and it took 2 days to get it fixed. Did I mention 6 adults? And 1 of 2 toilets down? Not good.

Good Location, but needs improvement!

Overall, the house "looked" clean, but there were dead roaches in several areas of the house. The backyard is nice, but the chairs had no cushions and there were leaves everywhere. So basically, an advertised space that's not usable. There was also a nail sticking out of the wood floor in one of the upstairs bedrooms that my daughter cut herself on, so be careful and walk around w/shoes on-definitely a safety hazard. Walking distance to Forsyth Park and having a designated area to park was a plus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we pulled up to the home on Gaston we immediately were in awe at the size and ease of getting into the home. My family loved the area and how close it was to attractions and all the space we had to spread out and join together. Firstly, the house and fixtures are beautiful, everything was as described in the profile advertisement. The home fit 9 people easily , with two kitchens and enough bathroom space to allow for easy morning rituals as we prepped to explore. This home allowed us to make this giant family vacation a memorable experience. The one drawback to the home, which is most likely due to the massive amount of humidity and was remedied by Febreeze was the house had a smell of mildew when we arrived. All in all I would recommend this home to any travelers and hope to return.

Nice For an Old House

The location was great. Super convenient to all the downtown hot spots and Forsyth Park. I’m not a fan of old homes, but we were a family of 8 and we really wanted to stay together. The internet and cable television did not work for two days and circuit breaker tripped 3 times during our stay. All in all it was a good stay.

Best First Trip to Savannah!

Reviewer Comments: Our original booking with Lucky Savannah was not livable at the time of our stay (due to nearby construction) so we were upgraded to this fabulous home. It was absolutely lovely and we were already talking about our next visit before this one finished! The home is gorgeous, but maybe a little bit sparse. It would be nice if the outdoor furniture had cushions. Overall, we loved our stay!To note: I recommend a lot of confirmation and checkins with Lucky Savannah. Due to the last minute upgrade, Lucky Savannah forgot to transfer our early check-in and we arrived to the place being locked and not cleaned. The cleaners showed up very quickly once I called the issue in and did a great job, but it put a damper on our arrival. The rental could probably use some more user friendly explanations about how to lock back doors, what to do with trash and recycling, etc (I am 28, technology is not usually a challenge for me, but I found the rental platform to be challenging) and there is a not a great way to get in contact to ask quick questions.

Historical district belle

Quick week end stay with family. House is located a few blocks from Forsyth Park with 5 large bedrooms. 2 bedrooms had twin beds. Ample space to hang out and relax in evening and outdoor seating (it rained so we didn’t). Kitchen was well supplied. Plenty of linens and towels. The 2 parking spaces in back was awesome. 2 sets of stairs, could be challenging as well as stairs to main house. We used downstairs entrance. This is an idle place to stay with a group and explore/enjoy Savannah

Beautiful home, Quiet location

This historic home has been beautifully updated without compromising its historic nature. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to Forsyth Park with two off street parking places, which is unusual.

Great house!

Great location! Very clean! Very updated! We loved this house! it was easy to walk all over the city-wonderful location on a beautiful street. Plenty of space to hang out and cook if you so desire. Bedrooms are on the lower level (basement) and upstairs. Loved this house!
